a truly unique journey
It was a truly unique journey where we encountered many small animals. Our guide, Asantah Kheri, and the organizer, Almachius, were both extremely warm and hospitable. The entire itinerary was perfectly arranged. The guide shared many fascinating stories about the animals with us. The accommodation and food were also very satisfactory. It was really perfect!

Professional, kind and reliable.
We just finished our safari and it was truly amazing. Our contact person from Meru Slopes, Shadrak, arranged everything perfectly down to the last detail. Even last-minute adjustments to make it even better for us were arranged in no time. Communication before the trip was very pleasant. We were able to tailor it exactly as we wanted and we always received a quick and detailed response from Shadrak.
We were on the road with our very friendly and experienced guide Jacob. He showed us fantastically beautiful places, knew how to find special animals and provided us with information about everything we wanted to know. His kindness, patience, humor and singing and imitation skills made the experience complete for us. It was a joy to go out together every day.
The accommodations are lovely; the people are friendly, it's clean, the views are amazing and there is a wide choice of delicious food.

Memorable 4-Day Safari with Meru Slopes – Highly Recommended!
I recently completed a 4-day safari with Meru Slopes and had a fantastic experience. From start to finish, I felt well taken care of by Jerome, who was always available and answered all my questions promptly. His communication was outstanding and made the whole process smooth and stress-free.
Our driver, Daniel, was outstanding—his 25+ years of experience really showed. He drove safely and always made sure we had plenty of time to take photos whenever we spotted wildlife. Thanks to him, we saw 4 out of the Big 5, missing only the elusive leopard. It truly felt like a dream come true!
A special mention to Meru Slopes for providing complimentary transportation and a night at the hotel before the safari began. This thoughtful gesture ensured we were well-rested and ready for our adventure in the morning.

Our guide Robert was amazing! He made a huge effort every day so we could see all the animals. His experience and knowledge were very valuable, because he was able to choose and put us always in the best spots. He quickly adapted to our group and knows a lot about all the animals and where to find them. He also drove to more far away and remote places so we could see the animals in their habitats without other jeeps nearby, which gave us a very special experience.

The safari was a true marvel. Our guide Enru had over 25 years of experience in his work and it was amazing how with his eyes he could see many animals in the distance. We were able to see practically all the animals, we missed seeing the leopard since it is very difficult to see, but the rest we saw everything. Chef Gardiola accompanied us during the safari days and every day we had breakfast, lunch and dinner with authentic and delicious local food. Starting with the attention we received before and after the tour from Gift Tembo and the drivers who picked us up in Kilimanjaro airport and left us in Moshi, all included. Camping experience was the best, hearing the sounds of different animals at night and sharing with beautiful people. Our driver for the safari was Robert, an unimaginable source of knowledge and excellent professional, taking us everywhere with passion, he showed us the parks as we wouldn’t have dreamed of, from seeing lion cubs to a live hunting. Professional and lovely people
My safari experience with Meru Slopes was wonderful. It was really exciting and full of adventure. We toured the parks with Robert, an excellent driver and guide who took us to see the big five and the ugly five, and made sure we had the best experience seeing the animals and telling us fun facts or answering our questions. He even managed to get us to see a leopard and a lion hunt, which are not so common. His attention and perseverance was key to that. We slept the first night in a lodge and then in tents, but super comfortable with a mattress and pillows and sleeping bag. We also had the wonderful cook Guideon who made us varied and healthy meals following our preferences, a loving attention. I take these days in my heart, I think they will be unforgettable!
