Amazing experience and Faru was such a wonderful guide!
I recently returned from a 6 nights, 7 days safari in the Masai Mara organized by Jocky Tours and Safaris and I honestly still cannot stop talking about the experience. From the moment we booked the trip, the communication and planning were smooth and professional. Every question we had was answered on time and the itinerary was very well organized. Once we arrived, everything was exactly as promised and even better than we expected.
The safari itself was breathtaking. Spending seven days in the Masai Mara gave us enough time to fully enjoy the beauty of nature, wildlife, and the peaceful environment without feeling rushed. Every single game drive felt unique and exciting. We saw lions relaxing under trees, elephants crossing the roads just a few meters away, cheetahs hunting, giraffes feeding peacefully, and countless zebras . Every sunrise and sunset in the Mara looked like something out of a movie.
One thing that truly elevated the entire experience was the accommodation. We stayed at Sarova Mara Game Camp and Ashnil Mara Camp and both places were absolutely luxurious. The rooms and tents were spacious, elegant, and extremely comfortable. Everything was clean, beautifully decorated, and designed in a way that still made you feel connected to nature. Waking up early in the morning to birds singing and sometimes hearing distant animal sounds was such an unforgettable experience.
The food at both camps was excellent with a wide variety of meals every day. The staff were warm, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything we needed. After long game drives, returning to such comfort and hospitality made the experience even more special. The ambiance at night around the camp was peaceful and relaxing, and it truly felt like a luxury escape in the middle of the wild.
A very special thank you goes to our guide, Francis Faru. Faru was honestly one of the best guides I have ever met. His knowledge about wildlife, animal behavior, and the Masai Mara ecosystem was impressive. He was very patient, friendly, funny, and professional throughout the entire trip. What amazed us most was his ability to spot animals from very far away and position the vehicle perfectly for the best viewing and photos. Because of him, we managed to see the Big Five and many unforgettable wildlife moments.
Faru also made the safari educational and fun at the same time. He shared interesting facts during every drive and always ensured everyone was comfortable and enjoying themselves. His passion for what he does clearly shows, and it made a huge difference in our experience.
This safari was more than just a holiday for me — it was a once-in-a-lifetime adventure filled with beautiful memories. I highly recommend Jocky Tours and Safaris to anyone looking for a well-organized luxury safari experience in Kenya. An Unforgettable Journey: A 5-Star Safari Experience with our tour operator JOCKY TOURS AND SAFARIS
Our recent safari was, without a doubt, a trip of a lifetime, and it's all thanks to the incredible team who offered authentically a "FULL PACKAGE ADVENTURE" and especially our guide, FRANCIS FARU. From the moment He picked us up at the airport, the deep briefing he did about how the safari would be like in the 7 days and the way we started the tour, every detail was meticulously handled, and every expectation was not just met, but exceeded. This tour deserves every one of its five stars.
The lodges were very good, especially the ashnil mara camp , The logistics were flawless, and the entire trip well organized, allowing us to enjoy the adventure.
I would like to highlight overall however, the experience with our guide Francis
Francis didn't just drive us around; he is an educator, a storyteller, a singer ( taught us so many songs) and a master tracker all whilst driving. He has an unbelievable ability to spot animals that we would have certainly missed, from rhinos in a ditch surrounded with long grass to a lion hundreds of meters away.
Francis keen eye and deep understanding of animal behavior led us to incredible sightings.
He was patient, answering our endless questions with a smile, and he always made sure we were in the perfect position for good photos since we were photographers. His
genuine love for the wildlife and dedication to our experience was evident in every single game drive.
If you're looking for an unforgettable safari adventure, I cannot recommend this tour and specifically our guide, Francis highly enough. He is a true professional and a fantastic person who will make your journey into the wild a truly magical and memorable one. And for Moureen and the entire Jocky fraternity, keep up the good work… kudos

An unforgettable experience!!!
​We booked our Maasai Mara safari through Jocky Tours from May 21st to the 24th, and it was quite the adventure! Our fantastic tour guide and driver, Joseph, picked us up from our hotel in Nairobi in a very comfortable 4x4 land cruiser.

We stayed at the Jambo Mara Safari Lodge, which has all the amenities you need for a comfortable stay. Our cabin was huge, featuring beautiful glass walls on both sides that allowed us to fully enjoy the forest views. The food was good, and the service was excellent, to say the least.

On our arrival day, we visited a local Maasai village where the tribe leader personally took us around—it was such an authentic experience! The following two days were dedicated to solid game drives. Joseph was simply incredible. Not only was he professional, knowledgeable, and friendly, but he also knew exactly where to go to find the wildlife.

Booking was seamless; we paid Jocky Tours once, and they took care of everything—transportation to and from Nairobi, our stay at the lovely lodge, and all park entry and game drive fees. We are sad to leave but so hopeful to be back. Joseph really made our trip unforgettable!
Excellent Experience
This was my first safari and it was such an amazing experience. Our tour guide, Sadam, did an amazing job leading us through the Safari with his expert driving and keen knowledge. If you can make sure you get Sadam as your guide!

We had an amazing safari experience with our guide, Papa Jones. He was incredibly knowledgeable and shared so much interesting information throughout the tour. He created a great atmosphere from start to finish and made the whole experience both exciting and enjoyable.
One of the highlights was how close he managed to get us to the animals while still making us feel completely safe. Thanks to his skills and experience, we had several unforgettable wildlife encounters that we will never forget.
I would absolutely choose Papa Jones again anytime and highly recommend him to anyone looking for an outstanding safari guide.

Baba John was amazing and great
The safari trip was more amazing than I ever imagined.. The nature, the setting, the company, the guide and not least the amazing wild animals.
Our guide, Baba John, was great. He had good patience with us and was amazing at explaining the animals.
He made it possible for us to see 4 of the 5 big. We only missed the rhino. Saw all the others and even the leopard.
It was well worth the trip. Loved it.

Great and reliable!
My wife and I recently completed a 6-day safari in Kenya with Jocky Tours visiting Maasai Mara, Lake Nakuru, and Amboseli, and we had an incredible experience from start to finish.
Our guide, David Mukami, was absolutely fantastic. He was knowledgeable, friendly, professional, and clearly very experienced. He worked hard every day to make sure we saw as much wildlife as possible and was always happy to answer questions about the animals, parks, and local culture. Thanks to David, we saw an amazing variety of wildlife and had several unforgettable moments throughout the trip.
The safari vehicle was also excellent — clean, comfortable, reliable, and perfect for long game drives. We always felt safe and well taken care of.

I cannot say enough good things about our safari with Jocky Tours! My husband and I did a 6-day safari through Maasai Mara, Lake Nakuru, and Amboseli, and it was truly the trip of a lifetime.
Our guide, David Mukami, made the experience so special. He was kind, patient, knowledgeable, and incredibly dedicated to giving us the best possible safari experience. We always felt comfortable and well cared for, and his ability to spot wildlife was amazing. Every day felt exciting and well organized.
The vehicle was very comfortable for the long drives and game drives, which made a huge difference over six days. Everything ran smoothly from beginning to end.
We made so many unforgettable memories and would absolutely recommend Jocky Tours to anyone planning a safari in Kenya. If you can request David as your guide, do it — he was wonderful!
