Well-organised
The tour itself was well-organised and the lodge accommodation exceeded my expectations! It was a great experience overall and Fidel made sure we were all comfortable and saw all the animals as much as possible. Made great friends all the way throughout this tour and I can’t wait to go back to Kenya soon!

Great budget option to see Maasai mara
Alex was a great tour guide, he invested a lot of energy in ensuring we had a great time exploring the reserve. The accomodation was also good, food plentiful and the staff friendly. One downside was that the accomodation was overbooked so I had to share a room despite paying for private accomodation.

Rahim is the MAN
I had the most incredible time on my 7days safari tour with Jocky tours and safaris in Kenya, and much of that was thanks to our exceptional guide, Rahim. From the very first moment we met, it was clear that Rahim was not only knowledgeable but also passionate about the wildlife and the natural environment. His enthusiasm was contagious, and it made the whole experience even more magical.
What truly stood out was Rahim’s ability to make every moment feel personalized. He was incredibly attentive to our needs and made sure we were comfortable, while also ensuring that we had ample time to capture beautiful photographs and take in the breathtaking surroundings. Whether it was a thrilling close-up view of animals or a scenic views, Rahim made it all unforgettable.

The best tour guide ever who helped us create lifelong memories
The tour guides are very friendly and try their best to help you see the wild animals up close during the safari. The explanations are very easy to understand, so anyone can enjoy it. I chose to stay in a tent on the first day, but the unique Kenyan food and the sounds of the wild animals at night were a very valuable and good experience. At Lake Nakuru and Naivasha, you can enjoy wildlife and cycling in a different atmosphere than Masai Mara, so it's worth joining. The tour fee is not that expensive, so if you're looking to enjoy a 5-day safari, I would definitely recommend this tour.

Possibly the best guide to Masai Mara
We have now returned home after an extremely good safari. Even though we only had two game drives, one evening and one whole day, I think we managed to experience Masai Mara the best way. Our driver G-man (Geeman) knew his way around and was well connected. The first knight we saw all of the normal animals, plus seven lions, cheetah and water buffalos. The next day he provided with about 22 more lions, elephants, hippos and crocodiles. We had some nice stops for toilet breaks and lunch.
We drived a really cool beige Toyota Landcruiser with a removable top. Perfect for the drive from Nairobi and also on the wild savanna.
We stayed at Sopa Lodges which was much better than we expected. It was way nicer than on the pictures, and the food and staff was exceptional.
Jockey tours always answered our questions asap, and they were really helpful and reliable.
The best of reviews from me and my family.

Jocky Tours deliver high quality service and easy communication - and the best safaries!
Me and my family had the best safari-experience in Masai Mara (3days) with Jocky tours january 2025. Communication during booking and after was easy, both by email and phone. Both the company and all their staff are very reliable, flexible and friendly. In short notice the were able to provide for us a car and driver from Nairobi to Diani. Our guide on Safari, G-man (Geeman), was the best! He made sure we saw plenty of Lions, cheetah, hippoes, and many more. We loved his knowlegde of the Masai Mara park and the animals and his very friendly and serviceminded personality. We felt safe and happy every moment. The drive from Nairobi is long, but there is plenty to see along the way and G-man was a safe driver in the caotic Kenyan trafic. We stayed at Sopa Mara Lodge, which was the perfect place to relax after safari for our family.

5 day safari masai maara/nakuru/lake naivasha/hells gate
We did the five day package including masai mara, lake nakuru, lake naivasha and Hells gate with mid-range accommodation.
We had the pleasure of having Dennis as our tour guide. Cool, calm and collected, very knowledgeable about the nature and the parks and how to see as many animals as possible. Thank you Dennis, we could not have asked for a better guide and driver.
Regarding the package 5 days was good. Bicycle at Hells gate and the game drive in Nakuru to spot the rhino in the rainforest were definitely pleasant surprises and top of the list of experiences. Also the masai maara game drives are very very cool and well organized. The drives between the parks also give you a glimpse of the Kenyan countryside, its small towns, its fields and landscape.
Some minor feedback: Would have preferred to split the full day gamedrive in Masai Maara into one morning and one evening drive with pause back in the camp in the middle to spend lunch and the hottest hours (when the animals are the slowest). Also, I would have liked to change the boat ride in lake naivasha to walking safari on creaent island, to have some more physical activity - maybe one could have the option to choose? There will be a lot of hours sitting in the car, so suggestions for the customers on physical activity, such as an independent evening walk in Nakuru to the national park, or similar, would have been appreciated.

Amazing safari and tour guide
My 5 stars is for 4 day Masai Mara, Nakuru and Naivasha tour rather than the 5 day option which I did as :
From the time of booking initially, then having to change dates due to an emergency, until Moses left me in Naivasha for the 5th day, everything was perfect.
+++ great communication, very polite and caring staff (in the office, the drivers, the guide, helpers), amazing tour guide that looked after us well and made sure we saw the Big 5 and many more.
Accommodation in Mara was at Shankale Camp which was clean and welcoming - if they can fix the water pipes, this will be great campsite. Other hotels we stayed at were good - clean, good food.
I fully recommend the 4 day tour with Jocky Tours and Moses as a tour guide - very good value and great experience.
However, I did the 5 day option with visit to Hells Gate which I think can be skipped unless one wants to see the Gorge and thermal powerplant.
My recommendation is to:
- book directly through Jocky Tours on Safaribookings and do not go through agents
- verify how many people on tour with you and that it is the Jocky Tour staff taking care of you throughout the tour.
Happy safari!

Very quick to answer our questions, the programm was what they promised.
We did a 6 days safari through Masai Mara + Nakuru + Navaisha + Amboseli for 6 days. We were a group of 3 friends and we joined a family, the vibes were super nice. This route takes long time on the road through bumpy roads so be aware of that before you book it. For us it was part of the adventure and loads of fun!
The camps/hotel where we slept had good conditions, the employers were nice and the food was good specially at Manjaro Camp.
Our guide was Leroy Mkok. We were so lucky to do it with him: he antecipated everything, was amazing, very knowledgeable, flexible and patient. He did his absolute best for us to see the animals (we were lucky to see the big 5) and explained a lot of interesting things about them, and also about Kenya and its culture. Hey had a very good English and answered our all questions with interest.
Good value for our money. We highly recommend it!
