Unforgettable experience
We had an amazing safari experience with Axis Africa Safaris in Kenya! Everything was very well organized, and the landscapes and wildlife were simply unforgettable. A special thank you to our driver and guide, Ben, who was fantastic throughout the whole trip. He was extremely knowledgeable about the animals and nature, and he explained so many interesting things to us during the safari. Thanks to his experience, we were able to spot an incredible variety of wildlife and learn a lot at the same time. Ben was also very friendly, professional, and always made us feel safe and comfortable. Highly recommended company for anyone planning a safari in Kenya!

Our family of five recently completed a 6-day safari with Axis Africa Expeditions & Safaris, and it was simply one of the most memorable trips we have ever experienced.
First and foremost, a huge thank you to our guide, Peter Kanipo. He was exceptional in every aspect of the journey. Not only is he an excellent and extremely safe driver on Kenya's sometimes challenging roads and tracks, but he is also incredibly knowledgeable about the local wildlife, flora, and ecosystems. What truly sets Peter apart is his passion for his work. His enthusiasm was contagious, and every game drive became an opportunity to learn something new. He was always cheerful, attentive, patient with our many questions, and genuinely committed to making our safari unforgettable.
During our trip, we visited three incredible destinations. The Masai Mara offered spectacular wildlife sightings and breathtaking landscapes. Amboseli amazed us with its iconic views of Mount Kilimanjaro and its large elephant herds. Finally, Lake Naivasha provided a peaceful and unique contrast, with beautiful scenery, abundant birdlife, and memorable experiences on Crescent Island.
We would also like to thank the entire Axis Africa team. From the very beginning, they were highly responsive, flexible, and attentive to our needs. Communication was always easy, and they were remarkably accessible throughout the planning process and during the trip itself. They worked hard to create an itinerary that suited both our expectations and our budget, which we greatly appreciated.
If you are considering a safari in Kenya, we cannot recommend Axis Africa Expeditions & Safaris highly enough. Combined with the outstanding guidance of Peter Kanipo, they delivered an experience that exceeded all our expectations.

Absolute perfection !
A huge thank you to Cynthia and Axis Africa for this unforgettable safari through the parks of Nairobi, Masai Mara, Naivasha, and Amboseli. A heartfelt thank you as well to Peter Kapino for this memorable safari in Kenya! His expertise allowed us to observe incredible wildlife: lions, elephants, giraffes, cheetahs, and so many other amazing animals.
Beyond the knowledge he shared with such passion, we truly appreciated his perfect balance between providing insightful explanations and knowing when to stay quiet to let us enjoy the magic of these places in silence. Better than in our dreams !!!
An absolutely magical stay, tailor-made (and with great patience, kindness, and responsiveness) by Cynthia according to our wishes, our family's profile, budget and financial possibilities. Having arrived in Nairobi 6 days ago, we'll arrive in Diani tomorrow for 3 days of relaxation overlooking the Indian Ocean! Peter (kanipo) accompanied us throughout the game drive as our guide and driver, a truly talented individual with a perfect balance of kindness, humor, availability, and expertise (a pro with all the wildlife... the Big Five and the Ugly Five)... and (what seems to me to be the most important) perfect driving and control of our Land Cruiser on both roads and tracks!!
Next year, my sister and her family , from the US ,will come to Kenya for their first safari and with no hesitation I recommended her Axis, Cynthia and of course Peter Kanipo !!! Thanks again to all of them.

Exceptional trip, agency and guide !!!
My family and I (my parents and my two adult brothers) went on a 6-day safari in Kenya with AxisAfrica Safaris in May 2026, and it was an absolutely unforgettable experience. This time of year was perfect for us because we prefer destinations that are not too crowded. Every lodge and park felt peaceful and relaxing, which suited our family perfectly.
Before the safari began, the owner of the agency, Cynthia, welcomed us alongside our guide, Peter Kanipo. They were both incredibly warm, friendly, and welcoming, making us comfortable as we were about to discover a completely new country.
I especially have to mention how lucky we were to have Peter Kanipo as our guide. His kindness, knowledge, and above all his passion for Kenya’s wildlife made this first safari the best holiday we could ever have imagined. He was always attentive to every question we had and answered everything with great detail.
Since the guide is also the driver, I also want to highlight how safely and carefully Peter drove throughout the entire trip, despite the long journeys and sometimes very bumpy roads. This is such an important detail, especially when drives can last 5 to 6 hours… or more.
The agency organized everything for us, game drives, activities, accommodations, and meals, which allowed us to fully enjoy every single moment without having to worry about organization. During our trip, we visited Maasai Mara National Reserve, Crescent Island, and Amboseli National Park, all of which were absolutely breathtaking.
A huge thank you again to Peter Kanipo for being such a wonderful, funny, passionate, and caring guide. We truly could not have asked for a better first safari experience in Kenya.
Unforgettable experience with Richard
We had an unforgettable safari experience with Richard from Axis Africa Safaris. From the very beginning, he was professional, friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about wildlife and Kenya.
Thanks to Richard, we had incredible sightings throughout the trip — including lions up close, giraffes, elephants, and so much more. He always positioned the Land Cruiser perfectly for photos and never rushed us during sightings. His knowledge of animal behavior and the reserve really made the experience feel special.
He was also extremely punctual, patient, and genuinely committed to making sure we had the best possible safari experience every single day.
The balance between wildlife, scenery, culture, and comfort was excellent, and Richard played a huge role in that. We came away with amazing memories and thousands of photos we’ll keep forever.
Highly recommended for anyone planning a Maasai Mara safari — thank you Richard and Axis Africa Safaris!

Collin was an excellent tour guide that made the experience very fun and enjoyable.
The tour was great value for money, we made amazing memories and our tour guide did not cut any corners. Collin was very informed and answered all questions. He was very accommodating and made sure each couple in the group got the experience they wanted.

A wonderful once in a life time experience
I had a wonderful trip with axis africa i booked the 6 days safari trip and its really worth it. Roger the guide is really experienced and knowledgable and fun too, he made us spot the big 5 many times through out the trip he’s also very helpful. If you’re booking that trip ask for roger you wint regret it. However, the only thing that was off for me is the masai village visit its optional visit and probably has nothing to do with axis safari but this village is a scam they make you pay more than the mentioned price and they sell you fake stuff under the name of helping children, they lied in so many things and tried to scam . Masai people are way nicer and truthful than this village i guess this village is not authentic they just made it up for the show and money. Overall i really recommend the 6 days trip with axis safari they are the best! Definitely will come back again!
