They always put the guest first and want to fullfill all your wishes and have a fun time. They are happy to share safari knowledge and about life in Kenya in general.

Axis Africa Safaris gave us more than we could of imagined in Kenya for our safari. We booked a 5-Day Private Safari and had the most memorable time; from game drives-to-bird watching, we had an incredible experience that we will never forget. Our guide Mohamed was amazing, so knowledgeable and genuinely interested in making sure we saw every one of the “Big 5” and more. The accommodations along the way were extremely comfortable whether we were in a glamping campsite right outside of the Masai Mara or in a luxury resort/spa right on Lake Naivasha. We will take the memories of this trip with us the rest of our lives! Highly recommended 10/10!

Excellent safari operator with experienced guides and a personal touch.
We had an unforgettable 7-day safari from Nairobi through Masai Mara, Amboseli, Tsavo East and Tsavo West, ending in Diani Beach.
Our guide Saddam and his brother Bo were fantastic! They were incredibly friendly, helpful and always made us feel safe and comfortable.
Saddam is a very experienced guide with an amazing knowledge of wildlife and Kenya. You can clearly see how much he loves his job. He is funny, authentic, honest and always made an effort to understand our wishes and adapt the safari to us. Saddam is a confident and really safe driver.
He reads the animals’ behaviour really well and always knew exactly where to go and how to position the vehicle, while treating the animals and nature with great respect.
We had so much fun and couldn’t have asked for a better guide. Thank you, Asante Sane Saddam and Bo, for an unforgettable safari! We highly recommend you! 🐘🦁❤️

An amazing view and a beautiful experience

Raimond was amazing!
Great safari experience! Everything went really well and we were lucky enough to see all the Big Five. The accommodation was basic but had everything we needed. Just be prepared for very cold mornings—bring an extra sweatshirt! Overall, highly recommended!

Raymond my man
A transfer took us from the airport.
I'm in a group of four, and in the Jeep another kind couple join us.
All the organization was fantastic, with lunch stops back and forth to the Masai Mara. The accomodations are simple but comfortable, with WiFi and hot water within the time limits.
Raymond was the guide assigned to us: we just love him, funny and always smiling, he do all he can do to make sure we're having a memorable experience!

Opt for Raymond and Sankale
Choosing a safari company was honestly quite confusing. We spent a lot of time researching and contacting different operators before deciding on Axis Safaris. After the experience, I can confidently say we made the right choice.
We visited Masai Mara during the peak season, so we were a little nervous about the crowds, pricing and whether everything would actually go as promised. But Axis was very professional from the beginning. The communication was clear, the arrangements were smooth, and everything felt trustworthy and well organised.
But the biggest reason our safari was so good was our guide, Raymond.
Raymond was exceptional. He has great leadership and people skills, and you can tell that he genuinely enjoys what he does. He wasn’t just driving us around looking for animals — he understood the Mara, knew where to look and was constantly communicating with other guides. He has good relationships with guides from other companies as well, which was a huge advantage. When there was a good sighting somewhere, information would quickly travel between the guides and Raymond knew how to get us there.
That made a massive difference, especially during peak season. We got some incredible sightings and never felt like we were just following the crowd. Raymond was also extremely patient and always made sure we were comfortable and enjoying ourselves.
Our stay at Sankale was another pleasant surprise. Considering this was a relatively budget-friendly safari, the room was excellent — clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. After spending hours on game drives, having a comfortable place to come back to was definitely appreciated.
For us, we somehow ended up with the perfect combination: a reasonably priced safari with Axis, an amazing guide like Raymond, and a comfortable stay at Sankale. It gave us the experience we wanted without feeling like we had to spend a fortune.
There are obviously many safari operators to choose from, and we did our homework before booking. Based on our experience, Axis Safaris is a company I would happily recommend if you’re looking for something professional, reliable and reasonably priced.
And if you get Raymond as your guide, consider yourself lucky! 😄

Axis provided me the best budgeted safari and stay
Axis gave me one of the best Masai Mara safari experiences at a great price.
They arranged my stay at Sankale Camp, where the caretakers were incredibly warm and welcoming. They truly made me feel at home throughout my stay.
I was lucky enough to see the Big Five on Day 1 itself! A big thanks to Raymond, our guide, who went above and beyond to give us the best experience and make sure we got the best views of the animals.
I’m really glad I chose Axis. They made my Masai Mara trip truly memorable, and I would definitely recommend them to anyone planning a safari.
A pleasure from pick-up to drop-off, very smooth and well-rounded team on the mountain.
Online process went well overall, but if your starting point is not Nairobi, make sure to discuss the logistics (pick-up time, location and luggage) early enough, as we found ourselves with an extra bag that the team had to carry.
The service was perfect, we were taken care of at every single step of the way: great food, very considerate guides, water, … five star!
Good value for money & reliable, nothing to complain about.
Overall, really enjoyed the tour, especially thanks to our great team.
