Great 12-day tour of Kenya with Axis
We (family of 5) had a great 12-day tour of Kenya with Axis. We spent the first couple of nights in Amboseli, then 3 nights in Nanyuki for some trails and parks around Mount Kenya, three more nights in Naivasha (including a visit of Nakuru NP) and three final nights in Masai Mara. This was a personalized and somewhat unusual itinerary which Rita helped us tailor, ensuring that the sequencing of the parks and attractions made sense. This part was done over Whatsapp and email from afar, and Rita communicated with us very efficiently and professionally.
Upon arrival to Kenya we were greeted at the airport by Marcos, who proceeded to guide us throughout the 12-day tour, a combination of safari game drives and day hikes. We thoroughly enjoyed our time with Marcos - he is extremely knowledgeable, a great wildlife spotter, is easygoing and has a great sense of humor. Safari tours naturally require to spend many hours in the car with the driver, and Marcos made those hours fly fast!
We saw the Big 5, the Ugly 5 and a few more groups of 5 over those 12 days. I highly recommend touring Kenya with Axis, thank you Rita and Marcos!

Affordable, Honest, and Wonderful Safari Experience!
I had a wonderful experience with Axis Safari on my Maasai Mara and Lake Nakuru tour! They were very quick and efficient in organizing everything, offered affordable prices, and were honest and transparent throughout the process.
The mid-budget hotels they selected were also very nice, and all the people I interacted with were cordial, friendly, and professional. What I appreciated most was their honesty and fairness: when they were unable to arrange an additional stop I had requested, they refunded me the corresponding amount without any hassle.
Jumbe has been an amazing guide also! He was punctual, fun and very knowledgeable of the animals we were seeing.
Overall, I had a fantastic experience with Axis Safari and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for an affordable, well-organized, and trustworthy safari experience in Kenya!

Kevin was amazing !
They were very organized
Our guide Kevin was punctual and very knowledgeable. He was also flexible with our needs. If I needed to make additional stops or if we were running behind. We saw 1,000s of animals and kevin was very imformative. We got extremely lucky and saw the big 5 on our second day. We also saw a black rhino. This was because Kevin had much experience and knowledge and brought us to the right spots and communicated with other drivers.
Kevin was extremely friendly and made us feel very welcomed and comfortable at all times.

An unforgettable safari with an outstanding guide!
We had an absolutely amazing 4-day safari visiting Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru and Lake Naivasha. Ken Ngamia was an outstanding guide who made the whole experience truly unforgettable. His knowledge of wildlife, patience, professionalism and passion for what he does were exceptional. He always did his best to help us spot animals and made sure we enjoyed every moment of the journey.
The organization was excellent, the experience was incredible, and we felt well taken care of throughout the trip. Seeing so many amazing animals in their natural habitat, especially in the Masai Mara, was a dream come true. Each destination offered something special, making these four days an unforgettable adventure.
Ken really made the difference, and we are extremely grateful for his dedication, friendliness and excellent guiding skills. Axis Africa Expedition & Safaris delivered a fantastic experience and great value for money.

An Unforgettable Safari Experience
Our safari experience was absolutely incredible, beyond anything we could have imagined! The tour guy ( Ken Ngamia) was professional, reliable and always helpful, making sure everything went smoothly from beginning to end. Axis Africa were amazing!
We booked the six-day Masai Mara, Nakuru and Amboseli safari with Axis Africa and had the most amazing time.
The trip was very well organised, and the hotels and campsites were really nice (we booked the budget plus option).
Our guide, Yasin, was great at spotting animals and was in constant communication with the other guides to make sure we could see the animals they had spotted. Thanks to him, we saw every animal we wanted to see (leopards, rhinos, cheetahs, lions, elephants and much more). He was very knowledgeable and taught us a lot about the national parks and the animals we saw.
I would recommend Axis Africa and Yasin to everyone – a 10/10 experience! I would also recommend going during the shoulder season to avoid the crowds. We went in early October and it was perfect.

Everything went as planned!

The car was in an excellent state and clean.
They provided a very big amount of bottled water so it should not be a worry.

Friendly,Highly cost-effective and unforgettable Safari
The service at Axis Office was excellent, with our contact responding promptly. We chose the mid-budget tour, which was a worthwhile upgrade—staying for two days at campsites similar to those in the mid-range category, but offering better hot water and food. The 4x4 vehicle provided by Axis was noticeably newer and more spacious compared to other vehicles we saw on the road, greatly enhancing our safari experience. Our guide, Raymond, was diligent, professional, and friendly. Although he wasn't very talkative, he always started early and on time each day, and excelled at spotting wildlife. On one occasion, he was the first to spot a leopard and called over several other vehicles. He led us to witness many exciting animal encounters, including leopards, lions, vultures, hyenas, and various feeding scenes—an absolutely thrilling safari.The only thing I'm not completely satisfied with is that on the day to Amboseli, we 2 changed vehicles and guides, and ended up sharing a 4*4 from another company. The vehicle had more passengers with 7 and was older and more crowded. Overall I will choose Axis again for next Kanya Safari.
