The best of the best
My first day in Nairobi with Axis Africa was everything I could’ve dreamed off. My tour guide Laso, took me to Nairobi national park, Sheldrick wildlife trust and the Giraffe centre. I felt very looked after especially as a young solo traveller. He was so knowledgeable and I learnt so much about the wildlife. He was always happy to answer any questions and knew exactly where to go so I could get the best view while being safe. He patiently waited till I was ready to continue on so I never felt rushed and I could really take it all in. Today was so amazing and I can’t wait for the rest of my adventures with Axis Africa.

Exceptional pre-trip support and a driver with miracle skills!
I used Axisis Africa for my recent trip, and we chose the mid-range safari tour. My driver and guide was the same person, Mr. Peter Kapino, and he was an amazing driver. That is the most important part of a safari, especially on bumpy roads. He had great techniques to avoid traffic jams, which was incredible. During the safari, he communicated with other staff members and drove efficiently so we could catch a glimpse of a leopard. We actually got to see one! He always prioritized our safety and took great care of my older companion. He was also very punctual and always arrived right on time.Before the trip, our booking contact, Ms. Winnie Juma, was wonderful. She answered all my questions and washed away my worries. Because I trusted her and the company, I felt completely at ease on the day of the trip. My trip was safe and fun, just as expected. Thank you to my guide, Mr. Peter, and to Ms. Winnie. I strongly recommend him, her, and this company!

Excellent safari with so much wildlife seen
This safari was amazing. Our guide Rodger was helpful, polite and enthusiastic to find us animals that we wanted to see. Because of that, we saw a leopard and a cheetah within one and half day in Masai Mara. Then Lake Nakuru was another great experience with different landscape and several white rhinos sightings. We were lucky to see 2 rhinos crossing the road right beside our jeep. We finished our safari with a relaxing Lake Naivasha boat ride where we saw hippos, and many different birds. Overall, such a memorable experience, I would definitely recommend!

The safari was amazing. We saw both the "Big Five" and the "Ugly Five"; the guide was very experienced, allowing us to observe the animals from a close range. The tent accommodation was rather basic—no shampoo, unreliable hot water, and no hair dryer. However, the Buraha Hotel was fantastic, and the campfire and dance performances were unforgettable. Overall, it was an excellent experience well worth doing.

We had an amazing experience on our Masai Mara safari!
A special thank you to our driver, Yassy, who was with us throughout the entire trip. His driving skills were truly impressive, and you could really tell that he was an experienced and professional safari driver. We always felt safe and comfortable with him, and thanks to his knowledge and skills, we were able to see so many incredible and unforgettable moments with the animals. It was an experience we will never forget.
We were also lucky to have such a great group. Everyone was friendly, kind, and fun, and we were really happy that we chose a group safari.
The tour was very well organized. They even adjusted our breakfast time to fit our safari schedule and communicated well with the hotel, which made everything very smooth and convenient.
We stayed at Marachui Resort Hotel. The staff were very kind and helpful, and the facilities were good. However, there were a lot of large Chinese tour groups staying there, so it was quite lively and noisy most of the time. If you prefer a quieter and more peaceful atmosphere, you may want to consider staying somewhere else.
We booked the safari through WhatsApp, and the staff were always quick to respond to our questions, which was very helpful.
Overall, we were extremely happy with the safari and had such a memorable experience. We are very grateful to everyone involved, especially our driver Yassy, for making this trip so special.

WOW WOW WOW INCREDIBLE
Our safari to the Maasi Mara was absolutely incredible!! Richard (our incredible guide) was so fantastic and did everything he could to make sure we had a fabulous time and saw all the animals. We got to see an incredible sunset the first night in the park and so many animals including cheetah, leopard, lions, elephants and so much more. Would recommend having two full day game drives as it ensures you see lots of animas and explore different areas of the park. Richard was an absolute legend and knew all the other guides and rangers so he had al the insider tips!

An excellent well organised operation.
Our tour with Richard (Nkoile - hope we spelt it right) was fantastic! He was extremely knowledgeable with all of the different species and an excellent spotter. He has been very warm and welcoming making sure we always had what we needed. He also brought humour with him and made sure we got the best views.
We would have stayed with him the whole time if we could! He enabled us to have the best time and make incredible memories, thank you.

Beautiful experience with Axis
Axis was amazing from the start - Maurine answered all my questions (and there was a lot of them) and made me feel really safe about choosing Axis. The journey itself was great - the car is comfortable, clean, spacious, with electricity sockets. The driver was on time and we managed to see all the big 5 and the migration. I was really surprised in a good way about how many things we managed to see in and half day of game drives (3 days masai mara experience).
Special thanks and appreciation to our driver Roger. He was friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, always ready to respond to all our questions. Whenever there was an animal sighting, he rushed and somehow always managed to find the best for us to see the animals. He told me he loves his job and it really shows - the safari would have been a very different experience, was it not for him. Thank you, again.

Very helpful, friendly and professional.
We had a lovely time from the moment we were picked up at the hotel. The safari itself was amazing and we saw all the animals we wished for. We loved the «wild nest camp resort».
An unforgettable and magical safari!
We just finished our safari experience and we couldn't be more happier with the result.
First of all, the Axis team—and Peter in particular—did a fantastic job putting together the itinerary, answering all our questions, and handling any issues that arose—such as adding an extra day in the Mara or booking train tickets to Mombasa in advance.
Our guide, Yasin, made this experience far better than we had ever imagined; he teach us all about a wide variety of animals and looked after us like family. We were lucky enough to see the "Big Five" and witnessed one of the most magical moments imaginable—an elephant being born right before our eyes. All of this was enhanced by Yasin’s extensive knowledge and kindness, as he always prioritized our well-being and the well-being of the animals.
