An unmatched first safari experience in Africa
We have just returned from our first safari in Africa, and choosing Axis and their team was a fantastic decision. We had no prior experience organizing this type of trip, and Peter’s assistance and advice were invaluable in creating an itinerary perfectly tailored to our interests. Peter was attentive and proactive throughout the process; he listened to our needs and helped us create a tailor-made itinerary that went beyond standard options—such as adding an extra day in the Maasai Mara and a visit to Hell's Gate in Naivasha. He even arranged to purchase our train tickets before we arrived in Kenya—a huge relief, as we wouldn't have been able to buy them ourselves without M-Pesa. Thanks to him, we secured travel on our preferred dates without the worry of tickets selling out!
The moment to begin our adventure arrived, and we were assigned a guide and fellow travelers—people who were key to making the adventure truly complete. There were two other couples with whom it was a pleasure to share this fantastic experience, and then there was Yasin, our guide, who became a real teacher and friend throughout the week-long safari.
Yasin adapted the route each day with our well-being and comfort in mind; we managed to see a vast number of animals and truly spectacular sights. His mastery of the terrain and his experience in the wild were evident at every moment. We all hoped to see the "Big Five" (which we did!), but we never expected to witness the birth of an elephant just a few meters away. He always maintained an ethical approach and shared his insights with us throughout the journey.
We wrapped up our eight-day safari feeling a bit tired, yet immensely grateful and happy about the experiences we shared each day. We will miss seeing so many animals daily and continuing to discover the local wildlife.

Tabitha customised our itinerary to meet our specific requirements. The accommodation and food provided during the trip were good. Our guide, Muhammad, was exceptionally friendly and helpful. He possessed extensive knowledge of the safaris we undertook in Masai Mara, Naivasha, Amboseli and Tsavo East. I would definitely recommend Axis Africa Safari to my friends and family.

Excellent service and expertise
Had an incredible 4D3N safari in the Maasai Mara where we saw the Big Five two days as well as some predators feeding. The guides were incredible at finding and getting us close to the animals and also possessed great knowledge about the animals themselves. Thanks to our guides Nicole and Kulet for making this an unforgettable experience.

Best days of my life
Our safari with Axis Africa was honestly such an incredible experience! I had never been on safari before, so I wasn’t really sure what to expect, but it turned out to be one of the highlights of my life.
We were lucky enough to visit both Amboseli and Taita Hills, and every game drive felt like a little adventure. Sadam was an amazing guide and definitely one of the reasons we had such a great time. His ability to spot animals was unbelievable, sometimes he would point something out and we would be staring in the same direction for ages before finally seeing it! We got to see lions, cheetahs and leopards, among so many other animals, and some of those moments were genuinely unforgettable.
Bo was also great and always so friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed having both of them with us, and they made the whole experience feel easy and relaxed.
I ended the trip with so many amazing memories and hundreds of photos, and I’m already missing the game drives! A huge thank you to Sadam, Bo and everyone at Axis Africa for making our first Kenyan safari such a fantastic experience. I would absolutely recommend them!

Memories for a lifetime
Our safari in Kenya was such a special experience, and I will remember it for a very long time. We visited Amboseli and Taita Hills, and I loved how different and beautiful both places were.
Sadam was a wonderful guide and really made the safari special for us. He was always patient and attentive, and you could tell how much he enjoys his work. I was especially impressed by how he could spot animals from what seemed to us like absolutely nowhere. Thanks to him, we had some amazing sightings which I never expected to see so close. He seemed to know exactly where to look and always made sure we could all enjoy what was happening.
Bo was also such a lovely and helpful person. He was always there when we needed something, with a smile and a helping hand, and it was clear that the two of them worked very well together.
I am so happy that we chose Axis Africa for our first safari. There were so many little moments that I will take home with me, like watching the animals, the beautiful landscapes, and simply sitting in the vehicle and taking it all in. Thank you to Sadam and Bo for taking such good care of us and making our Kenyan adventure so enjoyable. I would gladly recommend them to anyone coming to Kenya.

Amazing experience with an amazing team
We had an absolutely amazing safari with Axis Africa, visiting Amboseli and Taita Hills, and we couldn’t have asked for a better team than Sadam and Bo.
Sadam was an exceptional guide. He was extremely knowledgeable, friendly and patient, but what impressed us most was his incredible ability to spot wildlife. He had an amazing eye for finding the more elusive and special animals, including leopards, cheetahs and lions, often spotting them before we even had a chance to see them ourselves! He clearly knows the parks extremely well and always made sure we had the best possible experience.
Bo was also wonderful — kind, helpful and always attentive to everything we needed. They made a great team and we felt completely safe and well looked after throughout the whole trip.
Both Amboseli and Taita Hills were absolutely beautiful, and thanks to Sadam and Bo we had so many unforgettable wildlife encounters. We were extremely happy with Axis Africa and would definitely recommend them to anyone planning a safari in Kenya. A huge thank you to the whole team for an unforgettable experience!
