An amazing experience with a seroius agency and a great staff
My girlfriend and I chose to go on a private safari in Tanzania and, through word of mouth, we decided to trust Lion King Adventures. The service was excellent from the very beginning. We received continuous and prompt support in planning and booking our safari according to our needs and preferences.
Once we arrived, their staff took care of us throughout the entire trip, from the airport transfer to our departure. We were welcomed by Justin, a young, friendly, and cheerful guy who stayed with us during the first two days and even gave us a guided tour of Arusha. Justin is truly professional and clearly has a genuine passion for his job. To be honest, we were a little disappointed when we found out that he would not be our guide during the safari itself. With his attitude and enthusiasm, We truly believe he is ready to become an outstanding safari guide!
When we eventually set off on our safari, everything was organized down to the smallest detail, from pick-ups and transfers to accommodations. Both the agency and our guide, the legendary Adam, did a fantastic job. With nearly 20 years of experience and a true passion for guiding, Adam made these days absolutely unforgettable.
Thanks to him, we managed to see all of the Big Five, countless other animals, and some truly incredible wildlife scenes. He never hesitated to go the extra mile and constantly adapted the itinerary whenever needed to make our experience as unique and memorable as possible.
We highly recommend this experience. If you are looking for a reliable, professional, and well-organized safari company, Lion King Adventures is the perfect choice!
Exceeds expectations
Booked a mid range safari, six days among Tarangire, Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Manyara. We found very good organization, not luxury (we didn't look for that) but confortable accomodations in spectatular environments. Guide Khalifa was great, showed knowledge of parks and animals, their behaviours and well prepared us about what to expect during a game drive. We were never disappointed. We've seen all big fives ++; leopard just once, quite hidden, lions 15 times! Rhino only in Serengeti. Wild beast migration is a must, no way the best wonder of nature you would get in touch. Manyara has no sense for me to visit, since the lake overflowed, very sad place; for us was on the way to the airport, but I would not reccomend it.
We didn't go to Masai village, too much "show" for us. I would suggest LKA to think about some visit in real local environment, such as school or farm, to get in touch with real life, that would have been interesting.

Lion King were great - yes we saw the big five and our guides were very knowledgeable
I initially engaged another safari broker but I tried lion king based on the reviews and seeking a price comparison. Lion King were very professional and thorough and came in considerably cheaper for similar or same accommodation. Our guides (Geoffrey and Jafari) were great. They were open to what we wanted to see and do and their in-depth knowledge of the flora and fauna was extensive. We spent 10 days with them in total and would highly recommend them.

Fantastic experience with Lion King Adventures
We booked one week safari in Tanzania including Tarangire, central and northern Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater and Lake Manyara! Everything was very well organised from the pick up to the airport to the safaris and accommodations. Both the travel agent responsible for the booking of the trip, Rebecca, and the one for arranging the details, Naurey, were very responsive and easy to communicate with. Our guide, Paul, was very professional and knowledgeable and made great plan for our safari game drives. He was very good at spotting animals. We saw so many different animals and many from very close including elephants, lions, leopards, giraffes. The change of scenery between the parks was also amazing. All the accommodations were great, with very polite staff. I highly recommend staying at the Nyota Rift Valley for Tarangire area!

My wife and I just completed an extraordinary 8-day private safari covering Tarangire, Central and Northern Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater, and Lake Manyara. From our first morning pickup to our final drop-off, Lion King Adventures delivered a seamless, world-class wilderness experience.
The true heart of our trip was our guide, Clement. At 27, his tracking instincts, bush knowledge, and eagle-eyed spotting ability operate well beyond his years. In Tarangire, he proved himself as the "elephant whisperer," anticipating herd movements not once, but twice, positioning our vehicle perfectly minutes before the matriarch led the family right across our path. Along the way, he kept us laughing with classic dad humor (we now know zebras are just donkeys with stripes) and shared his genuine passion for the wildlife.
Patience is everything on safari, and Clement taught us that trusting your guide pays off tenfold. While other vehicles grew restless at the Mara River, Clement read the herds with incredible precision. Thanks to his intuition and patience, we witnessed three thrilling river crossings, including a heart-pounding spectacle with crocodiles waiting below while avoiding the chaotic vehicle crowds by sticking to quieter zones.
Across the week, we enjoyed the full "African massage" on the dirt tracks, collected our fair share of "bush makeup" (dust), and marveled at everything from a tree-climbing leopard and fresh lion kills to rhinos in the Crater and baby hippos playing along the shore.
A few practical lodge takeaways for fellow travelers:
* Kahawa House (Arusha) & Nyota Luxury Camp (Central Serengeti): Standouts. Kahawa served the best meals of the entire trip, and Nyota offered unbeatable tented luxury where giraffes and buffalo grazed right past our private deck.
* Nyikani Migration Camp (Kogatende): Fantastic proximity to the Mara River.
* Marera Mountain View Lodge (Karatu): A gorgeous hillside setting, though the food, steep room walk, and Wi-Fi were fairly basic.
Clement handled every bump in the road with calm professionalism, genuine warmth, and a true Hakuna Matata spirit. He even surprised us with a bottle of wine at our final lunch to celebrate the journey. We could not have asked for a better guide, host, or companion in the bush.

Unforgettable experience
It was an amazing experience that we will remember for the rest of our lives.
We were lucky enough to witness the Great Migration twice on the same day. The choice of camps was excellent.
The entire trip was very well organized and perfectly arranged, and the service was extremely kind and friendly.
We were also able to see the Big Five, thanks to Emmanuel, our wonderful guide and driver.

Great family’s Safari
It was great experience for our family. We traveled with high school girl and junior high school boy. They were so excited about our experience and this is our great family moment.
I believe our guide was excellent. He knows about nature and animals. So he does not go too close to animals so during our Safari We never felt unsafe. ( I saw some people in Instagram became too close to animals) I really respect our guide’s knowledge and professionalism attitude.

Our honeymoon experience with Lion King Adventures was amazing! Since the beginning to the end, everybody in the agency knew exactly what is our schedule and what is his/her role in it. People from Lion King are extremely reliable - about time, respponding your messages, keeping our schedule in the field, ect.
The schedule itself was planned by Riziky and we appreciated how it made sence in practise. Our recommendation - let your operator advise you what will work for you, they know! + one more recommendation from us.. add the flight in hot air baloon to your list! It is breathtaking experience!
Our safari guide, Godbless, was very professional. There wasn't single question about nature or culture he couldn't explain to us! After experiencing tour with Godbless, we appreciate how Lion King's safari guides are prepared, educated and know the field (every little road!). He knew exactly when is good time to wait for the animal (like for lion coming to control his area, when his family is eating a buffalo, in front of 20 Toyota jeeps (!!) ect.).
On Safari you spend a lot of time in a jeep. It is totally comfortable huge vehicle what overcomes every barrier and your guide is prepare to controll the car in every situation. The whole trip is all-inclusive.
Stylish and wonderfully designed accommodations in a nature, well prepared, and the most lovely people taking care of your comfort!!

Professional mid-size company with excellent service and wonderful tour guides
We chose Lion King Adventures to arrange a family tour based on custom itinerary including Tarangire, Northern and Central Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Lake Eyasi. They seemed to be the right size of the company, not too small and not too big, with already great reviews. Within the same class of lodges they were priced at parity or slightly cheaper with other companies, and we liked final selection of accommodations a bit better, than other offerings. Communication was professional and prompt, both before and after booking of the trip. We also liked that as part of standard communication, they provided detailed recommendations to how prepare for the trip, including the preferential type of wardrobe, packing arrangements etc. Already during the trip we were pleasantly surprised that company organises warm lunches during the trip, which not all of the companies do.
All that said, we knew from our past experience in Kenya that how good your safari is, depends largely on the guide. The fact that the company put pictures of its staff on its web-site, inspired some confidence that they understand the value of the selecting the right people and was likely decisive factor that we booked our tour with LKA.
Huge thank you goes to Jackson, our safari guide, who ensured, that through 6 full days of driving on bumpy roads we managed to see Big 5, and not just one time, witness the river crossing by wildebeest, that each day had its own highlight, and that we fell in love with various other animals. Jackson supplied us on the spot with information about various species we saw (and which he brought to our attention, cause animal do hide well). He also explained various cultural phenomena we witnessed as we drove through the country. In addition to sharp eyes and considerable subject knowledge, he was confident and fast, but not reckless, driver. Spending 10-11 hours in confined space with us, he managed all communications well, articulate and with a right dose of humour.

Jackson was incredibly knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and helpful throughout the entire journey.
The tour felt very secure, went without almost any hiccups, and adhered fully to the itinerary.
Communication in English was not an issue at all thanks to the help of the tour guide, and local guides for cultural tourism experiences.
Tanzania was beautiful, and we got to see many different vivid landscapes, as well as every major animal we had hoped to spot over the course of our week here.
Overall a fantastic experience, which I would highly recommend.
