Safari first timers
We are 2 friends travelling from Switzerland. This is our first time in Africa and doing a safari. The experience was great! We have seen 3 out of the big 5, the food was surprisingly nice, and camping was not as bad as we thought.

One of the best experiences in my life
Our 5 days safari with Suricata Safari was amazing. We saw a lot of animals and very close, always in the safest condition for us and for them. Our driver/guide Vincent was looking for the best spot to see the animals and to gift us the best Safari experience. He is a very expert and skilled driver, with a lot of experience, so he knows very well the parks and the animal's behaviours. The jeeps are perfect for the experience (big windows and open roof) and you can forget to worry about your phone/camera battery, because there are a lot of plugs to charge. The camping was an amazing experience as well: we were surrounded by animals like mongooses, zebras, birds etc. that cross the camping at early morning or at evening. The food was incredible and very tasty: thanks to Mussa to take care of our stomachs.
The staff also was very kind with us and I can say that this trip was one of the best experiences in my life. Asante!

Unreal and beautifully designes experience!
Loved the experience with Suricata! They assisted me with figuring out which safari was best for me (when I had little understanding of the area or exactly what I was looking for) and set me up with the perfect safari last minute. The time inside the parks was phenomenal and the guide was very knowledgeable and charismatic. The food was also incredible and the chef was friendly and even helped teach us how to cook some! The campsites were also unreal (definitely recommend staying inside the parks). Suricata and staff were truly helpful in every way and attentive to ensuring the best experience for their customers in every situation. Lewis and Saleem were incredible for the three days. Would definitely recommend them to a friend!

Nice experience. Be ready to spend a lot of time in the car, but the experience is very rewarding.

Exactly what you want from a safari
I did a 3 day safari splitting the time between the Serengeti and ngorongoro. Absolutely fantastic places. You can never guarantee what you are going to see but we managed to see pretty much everything in just this time. We even managed to catch a glimpse of a rhino.
Our guide James was very knowledgeable and friendly and we were also provided with nice meals by Charles.

Amazing and enjoyable Safari Tour
The Tour with Suricata Safaris was amazing! We book a 5 days Safari tour and it was just as we expected. We have seen a lot of animals and very close, but always respecting them. The vehicles are perfect to see the animals close and safe. And there are many sockets to charge the phone or camera. Vincent, the driver/guide make his best to make us see many different animals, he is like and eagle and can see them very far away, amazing! We asked him a lot of questions about the animals and he knows everything! We booked tent as accommodation and it was as we expected. Surprisingly, there is signal in the campside, so you can access internet if you have a Tanzanian SIM Card. The food was very good. Musa, is a very good chef and very likeable. It's so difficult to cook so good meals in a campside kitchen! We really enjoyed this tour and this travel and, for sure, we will recommend Suricata Safari to everybody.

Good experience
Our 4 Day Lodge Safari with Suricata was simply amazing! Everything from A to Z was perfect. Thanks to Hillary and his Team for organizing all! Special thanks to our guide Mandela who was fantastic. He definitely went the extra mile and was the perfect guide for us!

Great value for money 5 days budget safari
We went for the 5 days budget safari camping in a shared tour.
I contacted Surricata Safari as they were ranked number one on the platforms. The well detailed itinerary plan and reactivity of Hilary the owner convinced me to book as it looks clear and all inclusive (night before/ after safari in hotel (except dinner), airport transfer from Kilimanjaro Airport).
Serengiti and Tarangire national park were definitely the highlights of the trip as well as the quality of the meals prepared by chef Ben which was outstanding. He really exerts exceptional efforts to cook and is no comparison to industrial pack lunched from some safari companies.
Don't forget to bring:
- warm jackets / outfit as it was chilly specially in Ngorongoro when we visited end of June.
- a swim suit to enjoy the pool at Twiga campsite after a day of safari
Regarding 4 or 5 days duration safari, I would go back for 4 days as animals were a bit difficult to spot in the bush of Lake Maneyra on our last day.
