Melita provided clear explanations during the Safari and we felt safe with his driving skills all the time. The accommodations were very good, specially the Suricata Boma Lodge and the tent in the Serengueti.

5 days mid range safari with Melita 😍
We recommend Suricata safaris for your safari in Tanzania because everything was as expected and we spent 5 amazing days with our driver Melita and the rest of the group (people from all over the world).
Planning was easy thanks to Grace that replied immediately to all our questions.
Accomodations were all good level, clean rooms and with kind staff. Suricata Boma Lodges is definitely higher level and also the night and Tanzania Bush camp was special, sleeping in the middle of Serengeti. Food was good almost everywhere.
Melita explained to us lot of facts about animals and the National parks and he always knew the spots to see the animals and could find them even far without binoculars.

Incredible Safari Experience with Suricata and Our Guide Lewis!
We had an unforgettable safari with Suricata Safari! From the moment we were picked up, everything was handled with professionalism, care, and a genuine passion for what they do. Our guide and driver, Lewis, was absolutely fantastic — knowledgeable, patient, and always in great spirits. He had an incredible eye for spotting wildlife and shared so many insights that made the trip even more meaningful.
We visited Tarangire, Serengeti, and Ngorongoro — each stunning in its own way. Tarangire was a beautiful start with its iconic baobabs and herds of elephants. The Serengeti was by far our favourite — endless plains, breathtaking sunsets, and an incredible array of wildlife that felt straight out of a documentary. And Ngorongoro… just magical. Descending into the crater felt like entering another world.
Everything was well organized, from the accommodations to the game drives. We always felt safe, comfortable, and completely immersed in the experience. One tiny note — on the last day, a nearby table at lunch had hamburgers they were free to compose themselves… and I have to admit, I would’ve loved one of those! Just a small detail in an otherwise flawless adventure.

One in a life time experience
From start to finish, this 5-day camping safari was nothing short of spectacular. Every moment was filled with awe, excitement, and a deep appreciation for the beauty of nature. I genuinely loved every single minute of it!
Our guide Charles was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate, always going the extra mile to ensure we didn’t miss a thing. The campsites were surprisingly comfortable, with everything we needed to feel safe and cozy. Falling asleep to the sounds of the wild and waking up to sunrise over the savannah was an experience I’ll never forget. It was truly value for money, being the most affordable out there for a 5 day camping safari.
The safari was everything I hoped for and more!

Prepared and professional
An amazing safari experience with our guide Rocky that shared to us a lot of tips about savana and all animals we met. We met Lions, zebras, wild beasts, buffalo, elephants, iena, gazelles and hippos during our 3 days in different spots were amazing and so emotional.
All accomodations were beautiful and all staff very professional.

Unbelievable nice safari trip with excelent guide.
We had a from start to en wonderful safari trip. Before booking all our questions were answered quickly, so that the booking process alteady gave us a good feeling.
Ariving in Tansania we got picked up as agreed. All the people from Suricata we met were super friendly and helpful.
The accommodations on the trip were all super nice and we got very good food everywhere also for the lunch on the road.
Tha absolut highlight was the gane drives in the diffrent nationalsparks. Our guide, Fredy, has such an amazing knowledge about all the animals, the plants and the region as well as of all the traditions in the country. He explained us so many thing in a very good way and we learned so much from him. He also managed to bring us in the best spots to view so many animals. With his knowledge about the animals we often also where in a spot where the animals crossed directly next to the car or he knew exactly if an animal will get up soon that we waited to see even more of the animal.
I want to thank Fredy and the whole suricata Team for an incredible experience! I’m sure I will once come back and book another trip with Suricata.

Unforgettable safari
It was an incredible experience with Amour and Rastaman (Lewis) as guides, and Chef Johnson.
Everything was well organized, from the initial briefing to the final meeting.
The food was excellent. The explanation of what we were seeing was very detailed, especially from Rastaman.
I definitely recommend Suricata to anyone planning a safari.
