Wonderfull experience
Safari tour (3 days midrange Safari) with Suricata Safaris company, and expecially with Gerard tour guide was wonderfull. For us was the first time and all was perfect, starting from the organization, accomodations (both lodges and camps) and the Safari experience itself.
We saw all the Big Five in few days, thanks to Gerard who was a very beautiful person and an excellent guide and driver!
Thank you for the experience . I will suggest for sure this Suricata experience to all who would like to visit Tanzania.

An Unforgettable 4-Day Safari Experience
We spent 4 absolutely incredible days on safari, and it was truly one of the most unforgettable experiences of our lives. Every single day was filled with breathtaking landscapes, amazing wildlife, and unforgettable moments that we will cherish forever.
A very special thank you to our guide, Luther, who made this experience exceptional from start to finish. He is incredibly knowledgeable, passionate about wildlife, and always took the time to explain everything in such an interesting and engaging way. We learned so much about the animals, their behavior, the ecosystems, and the culture of Tanzania. His enthusiasm was contagious, and it made every game drive even more exciting.
Luther also had an amazing eye for spotting animals. Thanks to his experience and dedication, we were lucky enough to see all of the iconic animals of the African savannah, including the Big Five, as well as countless other incredible species. Every sighting felt unique, and he always made sure we had the best possible view while respecting the animals and their environment.
The entire safari was perfectly organized, and we always felt safe, comfortable, and well taken care of. It was clear that Luther genuinely wanted us to have the best experience possible, and he went above and beyond to make every moment special.
Thank you, Luther, for your kindness, professionalism, patience, and passion. You turned an amazing safari into a once-in-a-lifetime adventure. We couldn’t have wished for a better guide, and we highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting Tanzania!

We had a wonderful safari experience! Everything was very well organized, and we saw so many amazing animals.
A special thank you to our guide, Luta. He was very kind, professional, and always did his best to make sure we had the best experience. Thanks to him, we saw many animals and learned a lot about nature and wildlife. He was always happy to answer our questions and made us feel safe during the whole safari.
We really enjoyed every day and will always remember this trip. We highly recommend this safari, especially with Luta as your guide!

Very worthy safari!
I highly recommend this safari. I was travelling with my boyfriend and we had a very good experience from the start. Our safari guide Luther was very informative and professional. Everyday he explained to us what would happen before we started. He also answered all of our questions about the animals. The accommodations were comfortable and beautiful. The Suricata Boma Lodge was our favorite! We also had good food everyday. At lunch time we had tasty 'homemade' food everyday. Additional unnexpected nice things: charging places and working internet (most of the time) in the car.
Excellent tour with amazing tour guides Filex and Amiri
Suricata Safaris provided us with an unforgettable experience through Serengeti National Park. We saw an incredible variety of wildlife, including the Big Five and the Great Wildebeest Migration. Our guides, Filex and Amiri, have an exceptional talent for finding the best wildlife viewing spots. They shared their extensive knowledge about every animal we encountered and patiently answered all of our questions. They were also incredibly accommodating of our requests and schedule, making the entire experience seamless and deeply enjoyable. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to explore the Serengeti!

Wonderful Safari
I did a 5-day safari camping trip and it was absolutely wonderful.
Our driver, Steve, was super helpful and kind. He explained a lot about the environment and the animals, and answered all my questions. If I return, I'll definitely ask for him.
Suricata took care of everything: transportation, all meals, and tents. I highly recommend them to anyone visiting Tanzania.

Arranged our safari perfectly!
We booked directly with Suricata, as we wanted to use a Tanzania based tour operator. The reviews I read were spot on - the safari was brilliant and our guide Eke was amazing
We stayed in mid range accommodation - there was a food variety between hotels, lodges and bush camps. Our days were packed - early starts meant that we were able to see as much as possible on our seven day safari. Eke wanted us to have the best animal experience, and we absolutely did. We saw three separate river crossings, three leopards in one day, a cheetah and her cubs. Not to mention forty lions, two rhino and countless elephants, giraffes, zebras and gazelles. We were really spoilt!
Communication from Eke was great - he always gave us the necessary information for the day ahead. Communication from the office was, at times, a little slow - especially providing information about internal flights and transfers.
We felt the tour was great value for money - we weren't expecting anywhere near the level of luxury that we received!
We would highly recommend Suricata for a wonderful safari experience.

An Unforgettable Safari Experience with Suricata Safaris
We had an unforgettable safari experience with Suricata Safaris, far beyond our expectations. During the trip, we visited some of Tanzania’s most iconic places, including Tarangire National Park, the Serengeti and the Ngorongoro Crater, and each day brought something truly memorable.
Our guide, Steve, was absolutely outstanding. He was professional, calm, friendly, knowledgeable and clearly passionate about wildlife, nature and the ecosystems we were discovering. He has an incredible eye for spotting animals, even from a great distance, and always took the time to explain animal behaviour, landscapes, plants and the specific characteristics of each area. His careful driving also made us feel safe and comfortable throughout the journey.
Thanks to Steve, we were lucky enough to see the Big Five, along with many other rare and beautiful animals: lions, elephants, buffaloes, black rhinos, leopards, giraffes, antelopes, zebras, wildebeest, hippos, crocodiles, hyenas, eagles and many other birds. Seeing several black rhinos in the Ngorongoro Crater was a very special moment, and spotting a leopard in the distance was also a real highlight.
The Serengeti was extraordinary. We were especially fortunate to witness two Mara River crossings, which were among the most powerful and unforgettable moments of the entire trip. Watching the wildebeest gather, hesitate and finally cross the river was both spectacular and deeply moving.
The organisation was excellent from start to finish. The 4×4 vehicle was spacious and comfortable, the food provided during the safari was delicious, and there was always plenty of drinking water available. The lodges and camps were comfortable and well selected. Suricata Boma Lodge near Lake Manyara was particularly beautiful, with a peaceful setting, comfortable rooms and excellent food.
We also greatly appreciated the cultural dimension of the trip, including our visit to a small Maasai village near Suricata Boma Lodge, where we learned more about traditional homes, dances and the daily lives of several families.
This is certainly a very expensive experience, but in our opinion, it is absolutely worth it. The quality of the organisation, the exceptional wildlife encounters, the landscapes and the expertise of our guide made it a truly once-in-a-lifetime journey.
Overall, this was a beautifully organised safari, filled with incredible wildlife, stunning landscapes and unforgettable moments. A special thank you to Steve, whose knowledge, kindness, professionalism and passion made the experience truly exceptional. We would highly recommend Suricata Safaris.
