Very professional and respectful
Communication with Suricata offices was smooth and frequent from the first quote request. We agreed on an ideal itinerary and the reservation process was very easy. After that, we received final details for the program, where everything was transparent and clear, except for the airport pick up/drop off benefit, which was not mentioned.
Once in Arusha, our driver/guide Luther Adam picked us up from our accommodation and we started six amazing days full of unique and exciting experiences. Luther was always very professional and respectful, not only to us but also -more importantly- to the nature we were visiting. He never encroached on animal spaces like we unfortunately saw other drivers from other companies do, he never exceeded speed limits or tried to beat other cars to better game-viewing spots. Even though this meant the we sometimes didn’t get the best possible game-viewing spot, he still made sure we had an excellent vantage point most of the time, without disturbing animal behaviour. In addition, Luther acquiesced to all our requests for stopping to observe specific animals or even take another allowed route to pass through different landscapes, always ensuring we had enough time to take the pictures or film the videos we wanted.
Overall, the service provided by Suricata Safaris and specifically by Luther Adam was of the highest quality, which is why I would undoubtedly recommend this company for any safari in Tanzania.

Professional, knowledgeable, and passionate about delivering unforgettable safari experiences
From day one, Adam was an excellent guide. What I appreciated most, and what I think is genuinely hard to find, is an ethical guide who follows the rules, prioritizes tourists’ safety, and truly respects the animals. I saw other tour operators doing questionable things during our trip, but Adam consistently showed professionalism and respect for the parks and wildlife.
He also has incredible knowledge of the local flora and fauna, and took us to different spots where we had the best chances of finding wildlife, we were lucky enough to spot the Big Five!
This was my first safari, but it definitely won’t be my last. I’d highly recommend Suricata Safaris, top-notch experience and service from start to finish!

Fantastic tour with a lot of animals
We had an absolutely amazing five-day safari with Suricata Safaris and our guide, Jeremy. The whole experience was truly impressive, and we were lucky enough to see an incredible variety of animals — including all of the Big Five!
Jeremy was always very committed to finding animals for us and went above and beyond to make the safari special. Thanks to his many years of experience and excellent knowledge, he knew exactly where to look, how to approach the animals, and how we should behave around them. He was extremely professional throughout the entire trip.
Of course, you spend a lot of time on the road, so you should be prepared for dusty conditions, hot temperatures, and some very bumpy roads. But honestly, it is absolutely worth it!
The accommodations were very good, with delicious food and incredibly friendly staff. One of the highlights was definitely spending a night at the bush camp, which made the experience feel even more authentic and adventurous.
Being able to observe so many wild animals from such a close distance was an unforgettable experience. We felt very comfortable and well taken care of throughout the entire safari.
Looking back, we also think that a three-day safari would have been enough to have an amazing experience. If you are short on time, we would recommend focusing on the Serengeti and the Ngorongoro Crater. In our opinion, Tarangire National Park and Lake Manyara National Park could be left out if you prefer a shorter trip. This would give you more time to enjoy the highlights without spending quite as much time on the road.

We can highly recommend Suricata Safaris and especially Jeremy as a guide. If you are looking for an unforgettable safari experience, we would definitely recommend this tour!

I had a great 3-day safari experience with Suricata Safaris
Communication before the safari was excellent. Everything was well organized, and the team was always responsive and helpful whenever I had questions before my arrival.
From the moment I arrived, all the transfers were handled smoothly. A special mention as well to the driver who took us from Arusha to Suricata Boma Lodge — he was incredibly kind and made the journey very pleasant.
But the biggest thank you goes to Jeremy, our safari guide. He was kind, friendly and made us feel comfortable throughout the whole safari. He is also an excellent and very safe driver, which I really appreciated considering how much time we spent on the road and inside the parks.
Jeremy really did his best to help us see as much wildlife as possible. We were incredibly lucky and managed to see the Big Five, along with so many other animals, and he always tried to get us into good positions to observe them. Whenever we had questions, he was happy to answer and share his knowledge with us.
I also appreciated the little things throughout the trip, including the flexibility and attention to what the group wanted. The whole experience felt relaxed and enjoyable from beginning to end.
Thank you Jeremy and the Suricata team for these three unforgettable days in Tanzania. It was my first safari, and I’m leaving with some amazing memories. I would definitely recommend Suricata Safaris!

Amazing Safari, Incredible Wildlife, and the Best Guide!
We booked a safari with Suricata Safaris in July 2026, and it was absolutely amazing—truly one of the best trips we have ever taken! Our guide, Ecky, made the experience even more memorable. He was incredibly knowledgeable, professional, and had the best personality. We laughed so much throughout the trip, and Ecky was a huge part of what made it so special.
There were 11 people in our group, and Suricata provided two jeeps. We were fortunate enough to have Ecky as our guide. Ennis, who drove the other jeep, was wonderful as well. We didn’t spend as much time with him, but he was very friendly, helpful, and accommodating.
All of our accommodations were wonderful. The only small issue was that the beds were a little firm for our liking. However, that certainly would not stop me from booking with Suricata again. I would simply bring a mattress topper to make the beds a little softer.
We saw the Big Five and experienced so much of the Serengeti. We booked a seven-day safari, but looking back, I wish we had booked a longer trip. Seven days went by far too quickly, and we didn’t have enough time to fully enjoy some of the beautiful lodges and everything they had to offer. If you have the time, I would definitely recommend booking longer than seven days.
One of the absolute highlights of our trip was taking a hot-air balloon ride over the Serengeti. It was probably one of my favorite excursions I have ever done—and I have traveled to more than 30 countries! The balloon stayed at a relatively low altitude, which gave us incredible views of the animals and the landscape below. After the flight, we were treated to a wonderful breakfast. It was an unforgettable experience from beginning to end.
A few people in our group also did a 10-mile hike near Mount Kilimanjaro. The scenery was beautiful, but we made the mistake of doing it the day after arriving. It involved a long drive from Arusha to Kilimanjaro, the hike itself, and then another long drive to our lodge near the Serengeti. It made for an extremely long and exhausting day. If seeing Mount Kilimanjaro is part of your plans, I would strongly recommend arriving a couple of days earlier so you have more time to relax and adjust before doing the hike.
Overall, I highly recommend booking the luxury safari through Suricata Safaris. The entire experience was incredible, and I would absolutely book with them again. And if you’re lucky enough to get Ecky as your guide, you’re in for an amazing time filled with incredible wildlife, unforgettable experiences, and plenty of laughter!
