Fantastic safari experience in Uganda, highly recommend Jerry and Dav Safaris
We booked our tour with Dav Safaris and had an amazing experience. Our guide, Jerry, was excellent! Very knowledgeable, friendly, good driver, and always attentive to our needs. He explained a lot along the way, tailored the program to make it more personal, and was always punctual.
The itinerary included gorilla trekking, chimpanzee tracking, Lake Bunyonyi, and a cultural village tour – all of which were amazing highlights. To see all this you have quite some distance to cover so you also get a great impression of Uganda as a country. The selection of lodges and food throughout the trip was also very good.
Although the gorilla and chimpanzee permits are quite expensive (a fixed price set by the government, part of which contributes to the conservation), the tour overall offered great value for money.
We highly recommend Jerry as a guide and had a great experience with Dav Safaris as a company.

Trustworthy and reliable
We spent a week in Uganda with Benjamin as our guide and driver. He took us everywhere in his comfortable vehicle, and everything was perfectly organized. The hotels were excellent, the food was delicious, and Benjamin’s knowledge, warmth, and kindness made the whole trip unforgettable. Highly recommended!

Great tour!
Dav Safari and our guide Jerry were excellent! From the beginning they maintained great communication. Our accommodations and meals were excellent. Our flight was delayed but they remained flexible and were still able to get everything in. Jerry was great about talking through what to expect each day and allowed us to make changes on the fly. He also actively sought feedback as he said he was always trying to improve. We saw chimpanzees, gorillas, tree climbing lions, and tons of animals on the boat safari. We very much enjoyed our tour. Perfect and the guide Kendrick was best ever
I booked trip with Dav safari’s with the five days in Uganda it was really amazing especially the chimpanzee tracking was the best one and the safari in queen Elizabeth was very interesting Kendrick was my supper guide. I have travelled in 27 countries but Kendrick was the best guide in all the countries I have travelled. I really wish I could travel with him in the my remaining countries he is the best ever . Thanks to Dav safaris and Kendrick my guide I really recommend to travel with Dav safaris in Uganda and Kendrick the guide thanks a lot🙏

Kind and caring

Excellent Tour Guide
As a solo traveller wanting to do the Gorilla Trek in Rwanda, I had a need to find a safe/efficient tour operator who would make the 30 hours I had from airport pickup through to final hotel drop off as seamless as possible. I was very fortunate to select Dav Safaris. The booking process was seamless, via Whatsapp, payment was secure and easy , and Isaac was there to collect me on arrival.
Fair to say Isaac was an outstanding guide/driver. Always courteous and attentive, providing lots of useful information on the 3 hr journey from airport to hotel. He was very effective at managing all the little things that needed to be done to get me checked in, dinner, then ready next morning for my Gorilla Trek - also helping to find the right porter to carry my bag (and help me at times to overcome obstacles on the path - thanks to Janver, you couldn’t find a better porter).
After 4.5hrs of trek - Isaac was waiting to take me back to hotel, freshen up, lunch then another 3 hrs back to Kigali. We swapped stories on the way of both our countries - I learned a lot about Rwanda.
My time with Isaac was definitely a highlight of trip to Rwanda, along with seeing beautiful gorillas.

Highly recommended well-run safari tour
Me and my family went on a 10 day wildlife Safari in Serengeti National Park and Zanzibar beach tour and we had an absolutely excellent experience. From start to finish, the team was incredibly professional and well-organized. Our tour consultant Ibrahim, always responded promptly, listened to what we were mostly interested in seeing and worked with us to put together our itinerary. Our driver and guide Ali, was genuinely nice and friendly and took great care of us, trying his best to make sure we had a truly unforgettable safari adventure.
Highly recommend Dav Safaris for anyone looking for a seamless and well-run safari tour. I would definitely book with them again!
