Champion was a great scout in finding all the animals!
My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our Serengeti Smile safari with two othe couples. It surpassed all expectations. Our trip planning was especially easy with Godian's professional guidance and quick response to our questions before and during the 6 day trip. Accommodations were quite comfortable and well appointed in our tent camps, and the food was plentiful and delicious each meal of each day.
Our guide, Champion went above all surprising us again and again with great vantage points so that we could enjoy the natural habitat of the "Big Five" and many other varieties of big beasts and fowl. One of the days, my wife and were unable to travel with the group, and Champion went well above expectations so that we missed very little. We highly recommend that you consider Serengheti Smile for your safari adventure as we hope to join them again some time.
Lastly, we found that this particular safari package was priced more modestly and gave us wonderful views of the animals with full descriptions on habitats, migration patterns, and their hunting and defense techniques.

Great safari trip
Had a wonderful safari experience and trip with Libe who knew a lot about the animals. Although some of the accommodations changed last minute, in our opinion they were betters than those planned before.

The highlight of our trip was our amazing guide, Champion. He is, without question, the best safari guide I've ever had! Serengeti Smile exceeded our expectations for an incredible and amazing safari!
Safari Smile was fantastic! Godian was professional, prompt and most helpful before and during our safari in his communication with us, answering all our questions and arranging for all our transfers and needs. We wanted to support a local tour operator but also to receive the benefits of their local knowledge and networking. Champion, our second generation guide, was phenomenal. His ability to spot animals, foresee their movements, his extensive knowledge of the flora, fauna, culture and history, along with his excellent relationship with other guides allowed for an amazing experience. We had fun, felt safe and well taken care of.
The accommodations were comfortable and the staff at each of their lodges and camps were helpful, conscientious and joyful! We loved the singing! We are running out of superlatives to describe our experience!

Our 6-day safari through Tarangire, Central Serengeti, and Northern Serengeti was truly the trip of a lifetime, and our guide, Champion, made it unforgettable.
From the very first day, Champion was incredibly knowledgeable, professional, and passionate about the wildlife and the Serengeti. Thanks to his expertise, we experienced breathtaking sightings and were fortunate enough to see all of the Big Five, along with countless other incredible moments that exceeded our expectations.

AMAZING! Our tour guide, Champion, went way beyond any expectations we had for our first safari.
From the beginning of our safari via Serengeti Smile to the very last (sad) moment we had to say goodbye, our trip was AMAZING in every way.
Godian, our sales representative, was responsive to our numerous questions on how to handle every aspect of our trip. He provided immeasurable information and did so with grace and unending patience.
Our safari guide, Champion, was FUN, knowledgeable, timely, organized, informative and oh, did I mention FUN! He took care of us from the tiniest of details of making sure our doors were closed tightly before we took off on our daily adventure to providing us with the next days itinerary at the end of each night. We always knew where we were going and what to expect.
What we did not expect, however, was Champions unending knowledge of where to go to get the best photographs of the animals, how he was able to track the animals and somehow knew of their every move, and how he could spot a lioness basking in the sand seemingly a mile away.
Ten minutes into our very first day on safari, we were surprised to see our first elephants and lions! Every day was an adventure of awe inspiring beauty with many animal surprises made possible by Champion.
We feel we have made a friend for life in Champion and we were very sad to say goodbye at the end of our spectacular safari. We know we will continue to enjoy our memories for a lifetime and are already planning our next safari adventure with Serengeti Smile!

Excellent 7-days Safari Experience with Serengeti Smile
When we decided to travel to Tanzania, we reached out to several safari agencies to compare our options. From our very first interaction with Serengeti Smile, we knew we had found the right team.
From the initial planning stages to the very end of our trip, everything was organized flawlessly. Before booking, Piniel took the time to present different itinerary options and patiently adjusted them several times to match our preferences and needs. Once the trip was confirmed, all information was communicated clearly and in great detail, giving us complete confidence before departure.
The experience itself exceeded all expectations. The accommodations were of excellent quality throughout the journey, and every aspect of the trip ran smoothly.

Unfortunately, during our trip we experienced a family emergency that required us to return to Italy two days earlier than planned. The Real King of the Savannah: Edward!
Edward was absolutely amazing and made our Tanzania safari an unforgettable experience.
He was our driver and guide for five days, and from the very beginning he went above and beyond to make sure every request from our family was fulfilled. He took us to so many incredible places and was always flexible, kind, and professional.
Edward wasn’t just a driver—he was an exceptional guide. He explained the wildlife in great detail, taught us about the different ecosystems, and helped us understand everything we were seeing. Thanks to his incredible knowledge, we didn’t just see animals; we truly experienced the beauty of Tanzania. Thanks to him, we were lucky enough to see all of the Big Five, along with countless other fascinating animals.
Our original trip was supposed to last seven days, but due to an unexpected family emergency, we had to cut it short to only five. Even with this last-minute change, Edward didn’t hesitate to help us. He drove for 14 hours from North Serengeti all the way to Kilimanjaro Airport to make sure we could catch our flight and get home safely. We will never forget that kindness and dedication.
People say the lion is the king of the savannah, but after spending five days with him, we’re convinced the real king of the savannah is Edward.
Thank you, Edward, for everything. We couldn’t have asked for a better guide, and we highly recommend him to anyone visiting Tanzania.

Excellent Planning and Capable Guide for the Great Migration
We fulfilled one of our bucket list items of getting to the Serengeti to watch the Great Wildebeast Migration. After careful Analysis of the top safari firms, I went with Safari Smiles due in part to the excellent planning and responsiveness from Frederick. He took care of all of my requests in a timely manner and was instrumental in me picking them for our Safari. Following that we hit the jackpot with our :guide Dominician - He was patient, knew all of the trails and was able to get us front row seats to a amazing river crossing, topped it off on Day 2 and 3 with Lion, leopard and cheetah sightings - multi times and within couple of feet..
excellent value for the money we paid to stay in the camp recommended by Frederick close to the :Grumati river..

Unforgettable
Serengeti Smile deserves nothing less than 5 stars for our amazing safari experience in Tanzania. From start to finish, everything was smooth, well-organized, and truly unforgettable.
Our guide, Barnaba, was fantastic. He was funny and entertaining, but also very detailed in his explanations about the animals, the landscape, and local culture, which made every game drive so much more interesting. Thanks to him, we were able to see so many animals, including all of the “Big 5,” and he always seemed to know exactly where to go for the best sightings while keeping us safe and comfortable.
Francisca, who handled our enquiries and arrangements, was equally impressive. She replied instantly to our questions, was very helpful with planning and logistics, and always communicated in a friendly and professional way that gave us a lot of confidence before and during the trip.
Overall, Serengeti Smile, with Barnaba as our guide and Francisca supporting from the office, gave us a safari experience that exceeded our expectations in every way, and we would highly recommend them to anyone visiting Tanzania.
