Smooth organization and great overall experience
5/5

Our 3-day trip (two days of safari and one day exploring the Kilimanjaro region) was perfectly organized and ran smoothly from start to finish. Transfers were always punctual, and even during long drives the guides kept us engaged with insights and useful information.
Our Kilimanjaro guide, Geoffrey, was knowledgeable, flexible, and happy to adapt the experience to our requests.
The lodges met our expectations.
Prisca was always available and efficient - she kept in touch with us by message during the trip, making sure everything ran smoothly and promptly handling any needs - making the whole planning process easy and stress-free.

Incredible value for money and professional execution
5/5

We have been on a Safari for 4D3N and can highly recommend it!
The safari itself was awesome and we got to see the big 5 and many other animals.
From the very beginning, the transaction was super fast and straightforward. Special thanks to Lydia and Emmanuel!
The overall package was significantly cheaper than other providers, without compromising on quality.
Our guide Dave (David) left nothing to be desired, thanks to his motivation. He was always friendly and open to any questions. Fun guy! We really enjoyed the trip and highly appreciate his effort!
Thanks Dave :)

Amazing organizer e always available to meet our needs
5/5

Prisca (and her colleague Lidia as well) has been an amazing organizer. She’s always available and finds a solution for each and ever needs.
We did a 3-days itinerary: 2 days of safari, one day to explore the Kilimanjaro region.
Our Kilimanjaro guide, Geoffrey, accommodated us on every possible request and had lots of interesting information to share with us. Transfers were always on time and lodges were appropriate.
We did the first two days with a friend company but didn’t experience any problem whatsoever. We were able to leave our luggage at the offices, which we could not bring on the Safari experience.
Highly recommended!

Very good safari road trip !
5/5

Great value for money.
The organization by Kilipath was perfect: they were available, responsive, and everything ran on schedule. The team is extremely motivated.

The jeep was spacious and comfortable, with power outlets to charge phones (although they didn’t always work). Our guide, David, was an excellent driver and did everything he could to make sure we were satisfied. He was very friendly and always in a great mood.

The choice of lodges was excellent: spacious and luxurious. Lunches were very well organized, especially when eaten out in the middle of nature.

However, we do not recommend the tent camp if you are looking for a minimum level of comfort (toilets, electricity). It also lacked atmosphere, even though there were many guests. Some light entertainment or welcome activity from our arrival around 4 p.m. until the evening would have been appreciated.

Small bonus (or a big one in our opinion!): Kilipath gifted us a wonderful T-shirt!

By far the best tour operator to do the Serengeti and surrounding national parks on a budget
5/5

I chose the 5-day safari option on a budget - it was the cheapest 5-day safari to Serengeti and surroundings I could find. The itinerary started with one day in the Tarangire NP, two days Serengeti, one day Ngroro Ngroro Crater and finally one day Lake Manyara.

It was a group-join safari, meaning that there were other people in the jeep which I did not know. We were 6 people in total, and there was a fridge in the jeep with coke, beer and water. All of us did the same game drives, but all other passengers had paid more than me. I paid USD 890 for accommodation in tents for two of the nights, the other two nights were in a pretty decent lodge (no ac, but other than that very nice). The other people in the jeep paid 1500 USD each, or more. They were then in fancier lodges for the nights where I stayed in a tent. The game drives were EXACTLY the same for the people who paid twice what I paid and me.

Ok, showers were cold in the tent camps. But hey, it is a budget option! I did not mind. Food was alright, and I did not feel that I was missing out on anything in my tents. In the tent camps you can meet cool other travellers that are also travelling at a budget, and you can enjoy the most beautiful sunrise in the serengeti.

At this point I also would like to praise my dear tour operator Kilipath, and especially their service worker Happy who helped me organise the whole thing. She picked me up, and helped me to organise a bus to Dar-Es-Salaam on the last day (she went to the booking office together with me). I am 100 % assured that if there had been any other problems, Happy would help me. She also checked in about daily to hear if everything is alright.

I am sure that Happy / Kilipath African safaris also can help you organise staying in more fancy lodges instead of tents if you prefer that. But of course it will cost more ;)

Very attentive throughout the entire process of the safari
5/5

It was a stroke of luck to find Kilipath after a long search. Happy explained everything in great detail, accommodating our pickup requests and answering all our questions. The accommodations were much better than expected compared to other operators' prices. We were also lucky to have Denis as our guide and driver; he was magnificent, constantly making sure we spotted the 'must-see' animals on every route and reacting quickly to any setbacks. I highly recommend this tour (in our case, the 4-days/3-nights one) and this company. Even though we are Spanish, we did the tour in English along with two other couples, which made it more fun, enjoyable, and educational

Amazing Experience
5/5

Everything was very well organized. Happy helped a lot, anwered all the questions, even arranged hot ballooning for me, which turned out to be a lifetime experience. The feeling of flying over savannah with giraffes and zebras wandering below was amazing! Our guide was very knowledgable and shared lots of facts about local wildlife. We were served 3 delicious hot meals every day. There was a solo traveller in the group who had a birthday during the safari. Imagine her surprise when she had got a birthday cake at the Ngoro Ngoro capmsite! I really appreciated this personal and attentive to detail attitude from all Kilipath staff.
