Awesome safari experience
I had an amazing 5-day safari experience with Kilipath African Safari in Serengeti. Right from the booking experience, Happy Mafole helped me get a clear understanding of the package, the inclusions and exclusions, and she also helped me plan my onward and return travel from Arusha. The first 4 days of the safari were with our tour guide Luca, who was very warm and understanding and explained to us about Tarangire, Serengeti & Ngorongoro Crater in detail. He enlightened us with a lot of information about all the parks & the crater.
I would like to especially mention my last day, when I went to Materuni Waterfalls with another tour guide, Geofrey Samwel Malamsha. Geofrey is a cool guide who goes out of his way to explain every detail about the place you visit.
Right from the drive from Arusha to Materuni Waterfalls, the hike from the parking spot in Moshi near Materuni to the waterfall was amazing. The fall itself was great, and Geofrey took amazing pictures of me in different poses. He's also a great photographer, along with being a great guide.
While returning from Materuni Waterfalls, I had amazing, delicious local food prepared by the locals and I also learned about the coffee-making process. Geofrey also took me to the top floor of an elite restaurant in Moshi from where you get an amazing view of Mount Kilimanjaro. He went out of his way to also stop at another spot to see if he could get a better view of Mount Kilimanjaro. Geofrey is a professional Serengeti tour guide in making.
I wish the entire team of Kilipath African Safari all the best, and my special thanks to Happy, Luca, and Geofrey once again.

Professional, organized, and dedicated
A unique experience. The national parks are incredible and majestic, and the accommodations—aside from the camping one—are top-tier. The guide, Assad, is a super charismatic guy with an enormous knowledge about wildlife, history, and the current conditions in each of the parks. He was dedicated to ensuring that every participant had the best possible experience. Every question, no matter how specific, was answered in great detail. Highly recommended!

Amazing expierence
We had a great 5 day Trip and everything worked out perfectly. The Company is very organised and reliable, Communication was very easy and individual requests were no Problem. Our tour guide Assad did an amazing job, he went above and beyond to make this trip unforgettable big thanks to him! If you sleep on a camspite you should bring an inlet for the sleeping bags or another cover and don’t forget cash for tips also for hotel staff and so on. If you‘re short on time you can skip Lake Manyara it’s less special than the other parks. We would for sure recommend the company and especially Assad to our friends and family!

Communication, value for money and reliability of the tour are in general very good.
The suggestion I can give if you haven't booked yet: ask to your tour operator to show you different options for the accomodations; we didn't and we regret it a bit :)

Really nice experience
The Safari itself was great, we managed to see almost anything there is to find in all the different areas and the guide and chef were super nice and helpful all the time.
Only recommendation, avoid campsites unless you really know what your signing for. You can contact your operator per different accommodation options. (We didn't know that)

Excellent Organization and Reliable Service!
We had a great experience with this company! Everything was very well organized, from arranging our transfers to coordinating the collection and delivery of our luggage. Everything went smoothly, and their help made our trip much easier and more stress-free.
We really appreciated their good organization, reliability, and the support they provided throughout the process. Having everything arranged in advance gave us peace of mind and allowed us to enjoy our trip without worrying about the logistics.

Great experience
We had a great experience with Kilipath!
Although we did the safari with another company due to availability, Kilipath organized everything for us and made the whole process very easy.
Priscah was very kind, friendly and helpful throughout the whole experience. They picked us up from the airport, took us back to our hotel after the safari and arranged our transfer to the airport.

Great Safari Experience with Top-Notch Organization and Service
I recently booked a 5-day safari plus extra with Kilipath Safari, and it was truly a memorable experience from start to finish!
My organizer, Happy, was wonderful. She was remarkably responsive and supportive from the moment I first expressed interest right up until the day I flew out of Tanzania. On a few occasions when things didn't go strictly as planned, Happy stepped in to help right away, whether it was early in the morning or late at night. Probably because Kilipath didn't have enough clients on that day to run a standalone group, she arranged for me to join a tour with Makini Tanzania Safari, which turned out to be a seamless and great arrangement.
Our driver/guide from Makini, Burton (or Baton), was exceptionally skilled and knowledgeable. Between occasional radio contacts with rangers and sharp observation using his binoculars, he consistently found targeted animals and positioned the vehicle in the best possible spot for optimal viewing—all while driving safely. His experience and keen eye made our game drives a highlight of the trip.
We were also accompanied by chef Pascoe (or Pascal). He did a great job preparing a variety of tasty dishes for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. It was especially nice at lunchtime: while tourists from other companies were eating much simpler (and often cold) meals, we enjoyed solid, delicious hot lunches out in the bush.
On the last day, another guide, Emanuel, came to pick me up and drove me to the Materuni waterfalls and coffee plantation. On our walk to and from the waterfalls, there were some muddy and slippery sections, and Emanuel held my hand to make sure I wouldn't slip. Beyond his thoughtful care, I truly enjoyed our conversations. He is a deeply conscientious, dedicated young man who cares deeply about supporting underprivileged children in society, and I learned so much from him about Tanzanian life.
All in all, I highly recommend both Kilipath Safari and Makini Tanzania Safari for anyone looking for a well-coordinated, personal, and rewarding tour in Tanzania!

Great organisation and really friendl and nice people
We had a great 5 day safari. Lydia did a great job organising everything and the safari itself was wonderful. We saw every animal we wanted to see. And our group and guide was also amazing. We had a really great time. Thank you Kilipath Safari!

The best safari experience
We booked a four day safari as our first time on a safari.
Lidia was in touch ahead of our arrival to answer any questions and give us more information about the trip. She also met us at our hotel for a pre briefing.
Our guide was Assad, who from the moment he picked us up we knew we’d struck gold with our guide.
On researching safari holidays I had read the guide can make or break the trip and that is certainly the case. We were in a shared safari and Assad did the introductions and shared the plan for the trip.
In two days we’re covered the Big 5. Assad knew each national park like the back of hand and we were the only vehicle to find a leopard, cheetah and her cub and a black rhino. Plus lots of up close sightings of other animals, Assad answered all of our questions and told us a lot about the wildlife. He was respectful to brute keeping his distance and staying on the tracks. He was accommodating to all the groups request. Navigated some unbelievable roads and looked after our every need. Stopped to help another vehicle in need, a genuinely great guy!
When my husband was unwell one day and didn’t feel up to the safari. Lidia and Assad arranged for another vehicle to take him to our planned accommodation that night. Assad had to arrange the paperwork to separate him from the group which wasn’t straight forwards. It was only my birthday whilst on safari and Kilipath arranged for a cake in the accommodation which was a lovely surprise.
I would 100% recommend Kilipath safaris & when we rebook would want to make sure it was with Assad. We’ve had the most amazing stay and cannot recommend Assad and Killipath enough.
