Amazing time...highly recommended!
5/5

We had an absolutely amazing time on our 5-day / 4-night private safari. Kioko was a phenomenal guide--very knowledgeable about the wildlife, the country, the culture, etc., and also very flexible in the schedule and amenable to our interests. The booking process was seamless, and the parameters of the safari we were quoted were exactly as they played out.

In our safari we saw Amboseli National Park, Lake Nakaru, and Masai Mara, and each offered something special...from the massive herds of grazing animals against the backdrop of Kilimanjaro in Amboseli, to the birds, baboons, and lions (3 large males within 10 feet of us!) in Nakaru, and of course, to the massive variety of animals (hippos, crocodiles, cheetahs, more of all of the above) in the Mara. The lodging was very comfortable and the food was excellent (and plentiful) at each of the locations that we stayed at. We really have no complaints and are already thinking about another trip to Kenya.

Thank you Kioko, Noah, and Wildebeest Safaris for an amazing time!

Had a great time in Kenya and Eusty is the best
5/5

Booked with a different tour operator that used Wildebeest as the guide company in Kenya. Had a wonderful time, learned a lot and saw everything I hoped for. And we made a new friend along the way. Thanks Eusty!

great tour
5/5

I made 3 day Masai Mara tour and it was great - overall very well organized with just enough game drives, we have seen lot of animals. Our guide/driver James was very nice and skilfull and the manager Noah very responsive and always ready to help (I had troubles to make it to Nairobi in time to start the tour so he arranged for me the pickup on the way which I highly appreciate!)

good trip - good organization
5/5

Three friends decided to visit Tanzania and I have applied via SafariBookings to some operators. Wildebeest was company who replied first, then according to our discussion made additional changes to organization. When we landed to tanzania our guide Hamza helped us to solve problem with local authorities as they have special request for some country citizens. During 5 days Hamza was with us, he was very helpfull and positive, trying to find for us animals, describing interesting stories about country and peoples there. Although we didn't see Noah, general manager of company, we was calling and writing sms and asking whether everything is ok.
We were very glad that we selected his company.

Adventure of a Lifetime
5/5

This was our first Africa experience, and Wildebeest Tours provided a superlative experience, from hotel pickup through 5 days of touring (Amboseli, Lake Navaisha, Lake Nakuru, and Masai Mara) to airport drop off. Noah planned a great trip to match our timeframe and budget, and our guide Dennis was extremely knowledgeable, capable, and cheerful in any circumstance we encountered. More importantly, our guide could rapidly adjust to unforeseen conditions (heavy rain, for instance) without missing a beat or compromising the experience. We highly recommend these outfitters.

Wonderful Experience
5/5

We decided to go on a private safari for our honey-moon and after looking around we decided to go with Wildebeest Safaris.
We were very happy with our choice and would surely do it again. In 6 days, we visited Lake Manyara, Serengeti, Ngoro Ngoro and Tarangire just at the end of the dry season and had the opportunity to see literally thousands of animals (including all the big five). We stayed mostly in tented lodges, one night in tented camp and 1 in a resort in Ngoro-Ngoro (we definitely enjoyed more the night in tents/tented lodges than the proper resort..). Our guide, Hamza, was extremely helpful and flexible. He knows very well all the parks and animals' behaviour, so we were able to find a great variety of animals. We would surely recommend Wildebeest Safaris to anyone looking for a truly great experience. The company is not very big and when we decided to book we had a number of e-mails with Noah, who was quick in replying and gave us a variety of options to choose between. Really pleased with the company and the guide. Highly recommended!

Very helpful and friendly.
4/5

We thoroughly enjoyed our time with Hamza of Wildebeest safari. He was knowledgable friendly and flexible. He was friendly with many of the other drivers as well which benefited us in terms of seeing so many animals we may well have missed. We managed to see all of the animals we had hoped and Hamza was very flexible in positioning the vehicle for best results in terms of photographs. The views and experiences were incredible.
We stayed in some absolutely stunning camps and lodges. This was due to internet research and the advice of Noah who has direct contact with these places and negotiated us some good deals. Noah also helped us out with payment issues allowing us to pay on arrival as the final booking was too late for a credit card.
We saw plenty of shiny 4x4's really packed with people and baggage whilst we cruised past just the three of us. Plenty of room for cameras packed lunches and stretching out. Maybe not the newest vehicle but perfectly functional and very roomy. As with all a pop up roof and plenty of chargers (uk 3 pin) for electric items.
I believe that an East African safari is a must do for those who can. Tanzania and Wildebeest Safari served us very well in a never to be forgotten holiday. Thank you Hamza and Noah.

Excellent, a memorable first time safari in East Africa!
4/5

We took a 13 day Kenya/Tanzania Safari with Wildebeest including Lake Nakuru, Lake Naivasha, Masai Mara, Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater and Amboseli (with stopovers in Nairobi). From the beginnings of our communication, Noah was always extremely prompt and helpful in his correspondence with us. He was very flexible and allowed us to change the itinerary multiple times based on our needs and budget. Upon arrival, we were met at the airport by our first driver Dennis, who drove us through the first Kenyan leg of the safari. Dennis was always enthusiastic and cheerful and ready to share his knowledge. He met all the challenges of the journey, always trying his best to ensure we still got the most out of our trip, and making sure we were well taken care of.

We did have some mechanical troubles with the 4WD during our time with Dennis - his car was well worn to say the least! While he was very focused on ensuring we got our time in the parks, it would have been more beneficial to have the car completely fixed and ready to go, avoiding several break downs in the middle of our drives - this was probably the most trying element of our safari, but ultimately something that couldn't really be avoided or foreseen.

Upon our arrival in Tanzania we swapped over to a new driver Hamsa, who was always friendly, helpful and had great knowledge of his surroundings. While it was a nuisance to cross the border so far from the Mara (due to border restrictions), we were treated to some fabulous scenery in Tanzania, en route to Serengeti. Hamsa was always very flexible with the itinerary to suit our needs, and his vehicle was thankfully in a better state of repair!

When back in Kenya, we spent just a few days with another driver Eustace (this time in a minivan with a pop-up roof). Once again, Eustace was a great driver, friendly, helpful and knowledgable. He went the extra mile on our last day, making every effort to drive us back to Nairobi (from Amboseli), getting us there just in time to visit the David Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage during its limited opening hours (something that wasn't on our itinerary, but we'd hoped to do). We were collected by Noah on our last day in Nairobi for our transfer to the airport. It was great to finally meet him, and really helped not to have to worry about arranging our own transfers.

Overall, our safari with Wildebeest was a great experience, we were able to see all of the Big Five, and enjoyed some great animal sightings throughout our stay. The accommodation was a bit of mixed bag, ranging from budget to very nice, but was always exactly as we had agreed. We were very well treated wherever we went, and were lucky to be upgraded in quite a few places. We would certainly recommend Wildebeest for a quality for money, mid-range safari tour.

Excellent services.
5/5

I used Wildebeest Safaris Ltd for my last trip to Kenya and Tanzania. They organised my accommodation and transport. The pick up at the airport was prompt.I must say,I was really impressed by the whole itinerary, especially the visit to Masai Mara, and the Serengeti. Accommodation and transport were impressive. But what really impressed me were their charges which were quite friendly considering what I had been charged on my previous visits. You made my travel worthwhile. Most certainly looking forward to my next trip with you
