Wow, what an adventure! My friends and I tackled Mount Kilimanjaro via the Western Breach route with Tanzania Horizon Safaris, and let me tell you, it was exhausting but totally worth it! Our guide, John, was like our guardian angel, making sure we were safe and motivated every step of the way. We shared many stories and even played cards together. The horse race was the funniest. Thanks to him, we made it to the summit feeling like champions!
After conquering the mountain, we embarked on a 5-day safari, and that's when things got even wilder – literally! Our safari guide, Gobless, was a true king of the wild. He had this amazing knack for spotting even the tiniest traces of wildlife on the red soil of the savannah. We saw lions, elephants, and giraffes up close – it was like living in a nature documentary!
But none of this would have been possible without the incredible planning and execution by Elizabeth and Neema from Tanzania Horizon Safaris. They thought of everything, from the logistics of the climb to the details of the safari. Thanks to them, our vacation was absolutely perfect!

Fantastic Guide
I had the pleasure of traveling in Uganda/Rwanda in October of 2023. Jaz was my guide and I couldn’t have asked for a more caring, considerate, well informed guide than he was. We visited many places, villages and points of interest. The highlight of my trip was the gorilla trek in Uganda. It was exhausting but so much fun, well organized, and great people involved in this project. I would highly recommend Jaz for your African Safari travels.

An honest experience with a more than professional guide.
First of all, I had not booked a safari before my arrival in Kenya. I was trying to find a service that was honest and not too expensive. Denis was my first contact with Baboon safari, I met a member of staff the next day and clarified my fears following the other reviews. He reassured me and told me that if I did not participate in 2 safaris, I would be reimbursed for the one not done. The one who deserves the honors is our guide Anthony who was exceptional, if you want customer service...it's him. He did everything he could to find out where the animals were and give us the best view. he was friends with all the other guides while respecting his customers. The Miti-mingi campsite was also perfect, the owner came at each meal to inquire about our satisfaction. A great experience which was very pleasant and which will be repeated, thank you Baboon!!!!

Friendly, accommodating, experienced, informatiive
This opportunity was on our minds for a very long time. Finally in Jan2024 we were able to pull the trigger and make the trip happen. Called it the 'primates tour' where. we wanted to see the golden monkeys/chimps/and most importantly gorillas. We also wanted to get some game drives and take in some of the local sights and scenery.
After some research of various fitters we found Mambo Safaris as a highly rated company. Since it was just 2 of us, we got in touch with Mambo where Didan and Nicholas were extremely helpful. We wanted to make some subtle adjustments and tailor the trip to our needs.
I cannot express how amazing the experience was. Starting from the pickup past midnight to our lovely accommodation in the Airport Guest Lounge all the way to the airport drop off on day 9, the entire trip went without any interruptions or hitches. I credit the entire team from Mambo for allowing us to enjoy the trip, offering us very valuable feedback and information to make the plans fully successful.
Even when unplanned events did happen, we were able to pivot and maximize our times and experience. I would like to especially thank Twinomuhangi Yonah for his outstanding company and driving throughout the entire trip. He was very entertaining and sharing a lot of the local knowledge which we were very thankful for.
Just a warning for anyone reading. If you are planning on paying US cash, make sure they are not marked and newer than 2018.
In closing, Mambo is an EXCELLENT choice for anyone travelling to UGANDA and looking into taking in the wildlife tours. The lodgings were amazing as well, even though we opted for the budget.

Amazing tour with fantastic guide
It was our first time in Africa, and we booked a 7 Day Wildlife safari with Gilmag Safaris. Mary was great from booking the tour, being in contact with us and our guide through-out our safari.
We saw lots of animals and loved the Open safari jeep. It was truly a great experience. What made the package even better was the luxury accommodations and our guide, Gilbert. The drives were spectacular and we got to see all the Big 5. We also got to spot a wild dog, which is apparently extremely rare. This made our safari even more special.
Honestly, I could not recommend Gilmag Safaris enough. The customer experience was outstanding. We had an unforgettable trip.

Excellent service and friendly drivers
I have had the pleasure of using Steenbok Safaris for many years for safaris to the Masai Mara, Nairobi National Park and day car/driver hire. They organised my very first safari in Kenya 15 years ago, for our
honeymoon in 2009 and a visit to Kenya with my sister in 2016. I always recommend Steenbok Safaris to friends visiting Kenya and always have good feedback from my friends, most recently in October 2018.
Steenbok Safaris are very accommodating with pick ups and drop offs from Thika and Ruiru rather than just Nairobi.
Their drivers are friendly and very knowledgeable of the area.
I look forward to my next safari with Steenbok Safaris....or maybe even a trip to climb Mount Kenya next?!

Life changing trip
The trip with Sky View Adventure was an amazing experience. Our guide Hassan, made the game drives a lot of fun and memorable. He knew exactly where to go to find all the animals we wanted to see. His knowledge of the environment, local culture, and wildlife made this experience really satisfying. I learned a lot during the game drives and had tons of fun.

Lion King provided amazing service on the best trip we've ever had
We can not say enough good things about Lion King Adventures. From planning the trip to being dropped off at the the airport and everything in between we felt informed, comfortable and very satisfied. The basics of an African Safari is you will have the best trip of your life. The land is beautiful, the people are the warmest and friendliest and of course you will see wildlife beyond your imagination. So one of the most important decisions you will make is who to use for your tour guide because you are going to be with them for every stop of the journey. There are many tour operators and you will get to see them on your Safari. While they all look good Lion King took it to another level of satisfaction. Gilbert, our guide, was fantastic, kind, warm, knowledgeable and that just touches the surface of well we were taken care of. We will always request Gilbert but the other Lion King guides looked well trained and professional as well. Locally owned and operated there is a reason this tour company has so many 5 star reviews, they truly the best.
