Our four day safari was worth every dollar. Amazing guide and chef and lot of animal encounter
We did a 4 day safari visiting Tarangire national park, Serengeti and Ngorongoro crater. It was one of the most amazing experiences I have ever had and I am still missing words to describe it. First of all the organisation was super easy - we planned everything over WhatsApp and the people were friendly and super supportive as well as flexible with our dates. Transport from the airport was without problems. Our guide Rocky and our Chef Musa were just great, they took very good care of us and the food was amazing. We learned a lot about the animals we saw and our guide had a great eye showing us many animals we didn’t even see first. We saw a lot of animals from very close and got amazing pictures. Camping in the tents was epic, during night we could hear hyenas and lions. The buffalos were feeding right next to us. Even though it was raining from time to time the tents were dry. For the nights you should definitley bring a rain jacket and a warmer jacket as well as something for your head. One important point I would like to make: Sadly I saw other guest being rude and not supportive toward their guide and chef. Even if one is on holiday I think it’s just polite to help building up the tents or help cleaning the table after dinner - please remember that your guide and chef work very hard for you so please be nice and respectful and maybe bring them a little gift from your hometown :) and of course don’t forget to tip them at the end 🫶) All in all we are very grateful for the experience and definitely want to return in the future for another adventure🫶

Well organized, helpful and trustworthy
Booked a three day two nights luxury Kigali to Bwindi National Park (Uganda) tour to watch mountain Gorillas. We were a party of two.
Edison from Trots & Safaris was very helpful from the beginning, advising on visas and everything we needed to know, making sure we had all the information we needed. Payment processing was easy.
Our guide Jimmy was very pleasant and we enjoyed the three days with him. He explained many things on the way and made sure all the pick-ups and drop-offs were on time.
I can only highly recommend both Trots & Safari as well as friendly Jimmy. We would love to come back and do this again.

Fantastic, fun and friendly guides that made an incredible experience! Would recommend highly!
A fantastic safari experience with friendly, extremely knowledgeable about the wildlife and national parks and made the safari experience extremely fun and enjoyable. Excellent communication skills and reliable guides. Would highly recommend to people and would love to go on another safari with the guides again! The service was outstanding and the guides made everyone feel welcome and enormously enjoyable. The vehicle was spacious and comfortable. The guides managed to find and see 4 of the 5 Big Five (Leopard, Elephant, buffalo and lion), didn’t manage to see any black rhinos at Massi Massi but these are shy and difficult to find anyway and can be rare to see this! But did not matter did not see rhinos as on daytime game drive we saw some incredible wildlife including cheetah hunting, giraffes, hippos, zebras, hyenas, antelopes, Banded Mongoose, Bushbucks, Coke's Hartebeests, Elands, Grant's Gazelle, monkeys, Dwarf mongoose, Impalas, Thomson's Gazelles, Topis, Waterbucks, warthogs, Wildebeests, and a variety of different African Birds! Would definitely come again on safari with this company!

Eddie the happy happy was great, very knowledgeable, funny, and professional.
The hotel was less than desired due to an event at Radisson so the restaurant service was very slow. Staff were friendly but that doesn’t make up for the long wait. The Safari day was great.

Everything was just perfect!!!!
Of all the tour operators that I traveled to; Ethio Backpacker Tours was the best! We traveled in 14 days, from north Danakil to Omo Valley in the south. Everything was just perfect during this time – some of the best hotels, good places to eat, frequent breaks for relaxation, and clean windshields for us to take pictures during this road trip that included most of the highlights that the country has to offer. Also, their partner guides, like the ones that we had at Lalibela churches or Gondar Castle, were surpassingly passionate about the places that they were representing, knowledgeable, and had answers to all our questions.

A Choice experience from arrival to departure
There are no strangers here; Only friends that you haven’t met yet. - William Butler Yeats
Tanzania Choice Safaris is the company founded and operated by Kakasi and Brenda Kimaro whom I now hope to count as friends. Between them they are a class act, catering to an outstanding experience. Brenda maintains a long list of resources and options that ultimately allow you to create a boutique experience. Kakasi has an extensive list of contacts and seemingly knows everyone you may cross paths with. Our safari guide was Noel Kimaro, Kakasi’s nephew. Noel was not only our guide, but our host and educator. Being in the family gave him the latitude and experience to make our tour truly exceptional.
From the arrival at the airport to the drop off at the same, we were under their wing. While our trip might not have been a common itinerary, it flowed smoothly with some great surprises. Church, picnic, tours of multiple dispenseries/hospitals, the Safari with multiple lodges, stops at the African Galleria in Usangi, and Sanaa in Arusha rounded out our trip.
Documentation, emails, and even a Zoom call prior to our trip outlined everything. Should I ever go back, there is only one company I would consider as my safari guide, namely Tanzania Choice Safaris.
