A once in a lifetime experience!
The best part of our trip was the safari we booked through safaribookings.com. We choose a 5 day safari with a few nights camping in the Serengeti. 5 days was plenty of time and we saw so many different animals and of course the big 5!
Our guide was passionate and very knowledgeable. We all developed a bond and we still text via WhatsAp from time to time. The lodge, Farm of Dreams, that they put us up in was pretty amazing! They were little huts but they had all the great amenities of a nice hotel. We were treated really well by the hotel staff and workers. I highly recommend this lodging.
In the beginning I felt very overwhelmed planning our trip to Tanzania. Especially the safari leg. SafariBookings.com made it so easy to decide what company I was going to go with. I loved how I was able to review each one day by day and the site is very organized. I would use you guys again! And I recommend you to all my friends!! Thank you again!

Amazing safari
We (a group of four) booked a 6-day safari in Kenya, visited Maasai Mara NP, Amboseli NP and Lake Naivasha. After a preliminary research and price offers from a few companies we decided to go with the Heritage of African Jungles, because their price was right and they always replied promptly to all the requests. We were not disappointed! (And I have to say 3 of us are tour guides ourselves, so we are quite demanding.) Some points from the trip:
1. The car (a safari-vehicle-converted 8-seater Toyota) was comfy and safe.
2. Our driver-guide Sam was nice, polite and always able to spot the animals. He was flexible and knowledgeable. He cleaned the vehicle daily (as you can imagine, the roads are dusty).
3. We stayed in standard lodges - to be honest, what they call "standard" was already in the luxurious zone for us. But it was worth it as it was only a few dollars more expensive than camps. All the hotels were nice, comfy and fully equipped.
4. The meals in safari lodges are not Michelin-level, but they are still good. Water, tea and coffee was always provided. Breakfast buffet was satisfactory even for a gluten-free person.
5. Our driver provided drinking water for us.
6. If you want to see the big 5, go to Maasai Mara. If you want to enjoy the scenery, go to Amboseli. For this reason I was happy that we decided to do Mara first and Amboseli second - we saw all the animals first and then had fun later.

A sight to never forget
The trip was full of excitement at every turn. We wanted to see something different than our usual "city or beach" vacation and South Africa delivered on everything we were hoping for. We took the three day Kruger tour and was able to see most all the animals we were hoping to see. Even got the surprise of seeing a very rare dog pack just chilling in the street. Anyways, if you're looking to see nature in its most natural setting and explore a very beautiful country, I highly recommend South Africa.

Amzing adventure with Tanzania Choice Safari. Extremely knowledgeable and extremely accommodating.
Tanzania Choice Safari provided a personal itinerary for my trip and expectations. Skype interview allowed for a timely and efficient communication to express wants and needs. Leslie was my personal guide who was extremely polite, knowledgeable, and willing to go above and beyond to give me the beat experience on the Serengeti! I will definitely use this tour agency again for my future adventures in Tanzania.

Amazing Four Day Tour of Victoria Falls and Chobe National Park
I was in South Africa for work, and wanted to spend the weekend seeing sights beyond South Africa. So I set my sights on Zimbabwe and Botswana and used Cultural Vibes Travel & Tours to book my visit. Everything was very smooth from the pre-travel communication to the actual weekend travel. Tongesai was very professional, and my tour followed the itinerary exactly, with no hiccups. The Hotel, Victoria Falls Safari Lodge, felt a little worn, but that completely faded away as I sat overlooking elephants, giraffes and impalas drinking from the watering hole facing the hotel. The highlight of my trip was reading on my balcony with a family of elephants eating the brush directly below! Additional highlights of the weekend were the helicopter ride of Victoria Falls and the private tour Tongesai provided of the falls themselves. I also enjoyed walking through town and heading to Botswana to see the Chobe National Park, home of an amazing number of elephants. Thank you Tongesai for making my short visit one I will remember!

It was clear that we were working with a tour operator who knew what he was doing.
We had Discover Africa plan pretty much our entire trip (16 days in country with two travel days). They did all the transfers, picked out the lodgings, managed our airfare in country and booked all of our guides.
Everything went EXACTLY as planned with no hiccups or issues of any kind.
Our transfers were always waiting for us. Our guides were always great people to talk to, knowledgeable and on time.
We loved having the online itinerary to look through and share with friends to look at our plans. We made some small tweaks here and there to what Matthys suggested and in hindsight, we probably should have just done what he suggested.
We stayed in two different bush camps to see different terrains and animals, and that was a really smart choice. The places he picked out were high quality and really enjoyable. The hotel in Cape Town was exactly what we wanted. We wanted a mid range hotel near the waterfront where we were close to everything as we planned on being out touring and doing things.
We would definitely use this company again and will recommend them to others without reservation.

Good value for money
My husband and I had 2 day Mikumi NP safari tour from Dar es Salam in the beginning of February. I contacted Mwajabu, tour operator, and she promptly responded to my request. We started chatting via What’s up application and she answered all my questions and concerns. I was hesitant to go for this tour from Dar since driving time is 5-6 hours. But I didn’t have to many options for this short period of time(2 days) and from this departing point. When we met with Mwajabu in hotel in DAR a day before tour, she provided us with all details: car/driver from DAR, safari driver in park, accommodations, meals etc. Everything was organized perfectly. Our driver Abdulla picked up us early in the morning from hotel and drove us to Mikumi in AC car. Thanks Abdulla we were able to start safari at 0900. Drive from DAR is long but you are passing through villages and towns of Tanzania and have chance to watch nature and life of people.
In Mikumi park we switched to jeep in which I and husband were the only passengers and Bob, the hero driver, took us on safari. The wild life in Milumi is abundant with elephants, impalas, buffalos, zebras, giraffes and oth. We were lucky to see night predator lion both days thanks Bob”s efforts.
Our accommodations were beyond expected. Bastion camp reminded more comfortable resort rather than tented camp. We were staying in private cottage with netted bed, private shower. Chef prepared delicious buffet style dinner.
In spite of long drive from DAR, we got tons of positive impressions about wild life in Mikumi park. Tour was well prepared and ran smoothly from the beginning to the end.

Brilliant, well organized, interesting, interactive. We had an amazing time with Johnson & co!!
Johnson's organization was pretty close to flawless, and he catered to our changes of mind during the trip with no issue at all.
Johnson and our drivers (George and Peter) doubled as experts on the wildlife and local culture, gave us a whole bunch of fun personal stories and anecdotes, and brought us to superb animal sighting places. They also spotted many animals we missed.
The animals were amazing, and Johnson's team made sur we saw everything we could. Highly recommended!

Good
Uganda and Rwanda are amazing countries. Great people and good food and very affordable. Amazing landscapes, nature reserves and parks. We even saw the most elusive green breasted African pitta in kibale Forest. That was stunning. The holy grail bird for birders. As she is hardly ever seen even by ardent hardcore bird watchers. What luck we saw one and even took pictures. We had a blast with gorillas and even saw a leopard let alone lions and all. Time of our lives we had. And Rolex. Best food item We have ever had. Our guide Alex was lovely and tried very hard to accommodate anything we wanted and he sure did. Lovely experience.
Only drawback and was a MASSIVE ONE was that our car was a Toyota hiace wagon that was in shambles with no air conditioning and very uncomfortable so please in the future do ask about the car you will be provided with. For us it was a learning experience for sure so please make sure your future ride is a Toyota Land Cruiser minimum with working air conditioning.
