Fantastic Service and Outstanding Service
Verity knows her business. We decided on a camping safari to keep costs down and adventure up mostly because we were traveling with a number of budget traveling younger folks. Our group was 8x which is pretty large. We booked about 6mo ahead which is actually pretty tight.
Verity found Sunway Safari for us and we camped in the Okavango, Moremi, Savuti and Chobe starting in Maun and ending in Vic Falls. Verity made arrangements for us in Johannesburg the night we arrived, booked tickets to Maun, booked us an extra night in Maun as we wanted to take a flightseeing trip on the Monday, booked flights from Vic Falls back to JoBurg and all the little connection minivans to get us from airports to hotels etc. And it didn't cost more than if we had booked it ourselves. What a savings to have someone who really knows what they are doing to help us.
The safari was fantastic. Canoed in for the first two bush camping nights which was a super cool way to start. Back to town and reloaded supplies for another 5 nights; 2x in Moremi which was special right next to a huge water hole filled with animals, 2x in Savuti where we saw many cats and another night at Chobe where we saw herds of animals and another 2x leopards. In total we logged 65+ animals and birds, over 25 lions, 3 leopards and a couple of smaller cats in addition to the herds of other animals. Hit everyone's bucket list
Ending up in Livingston was nice, 2 nights to decompress and share stories. Had a couple of evening cruises which were fun. And we booked the rafting trip. What a blast.
Camping is not for everyone but Verity knew it was for us and found the perfect safari to go on. I'd trust her to book any level of trip. You will be happy you did

Amazing
What an amazing experience. Staff, chef and our guides Gordon and Baraka were floorless start to finish. Saw some amazing animals and had an incredible time. One of the best things I've ever done. Totally recommend!

Superb safari, well organised and excellently guided
My wife and daughter and I chose Sunset Africa for a 7 day safari in Tanzania in August 2024. We were impressed by the organisation and presentation of the itinerary. Sele was an excellent guide - very knowledgable, kind and supportive and a pleasure to spend the week with. We loved the places we visited - Lake Manyara, Lake Natron, Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater and Tarangire. The accommodation and food were excellent throughout. Thoroughly recommend.

Wonderful experience
We've just completed an amazing safari through Tarangare , Serengeti, Mara crossing , Ngorongoro , Lake Manyara with Meru Slopes. Jerome, our contact, did not miss a beat, with prompt professional communication that meant everything that was planned happened. Not a glitch!. Mahommed our driver was ever smiling knowledgable and enabled us to see the fantastic wildlife and sights of Tanzania. It was an amazing trip and we thank Meru Slopes, Jerome and Mahommed for providing such a wonderful experience . Can highly recommend!!

The trip was absolutely beautiful, but I hoped that I will see much more zebras. Just kidding. I saw much more zebras than I hoped. 😃 It was amazing. Thanks Judith and our driver Godfrei for a beautiful experience.

Freddy is the best guide
We travelled with 2 kids: 4 and 5 years old and had no problems, that's already means a lot. Visited Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro and saw a lot of animals from a very close distance (see photos). Suricata provides good camps and lodges and also offers better lunch than other companies. Freddy is an excellent guide and very good knowledge of animals and their life.

This was one of the best safaris in afrika,the communication was smooth, we had a very good guide who was well conversant with the parks we visited .

Great staff, amazing safari
Really well organised, amazing safari. Friendly and professional staff.
The camping was easy and comfortable. If you have your own sleeping bag, I would recommend taking it! But otherwise really spacious tents and comfortable thick sleeping mats. Only a little cold in Ngorongoro but otherwise really warm, and showers (mostly hot, some cold) and toilets available in all camps. Pack extra toilet roll!
The food is of really high quality, several different courses for each meal and lots of fresh ingredients. Great chef!
We saw a wide array of different animals and really enjoyed seeing the different national parks.
A huge thanks to our amazing tour guide, Gordon, who was friendly and extremely knowledgeable.
Would really recommend Suricata Safaris!
