Ultimate African adventure
I did a camping tour with them from Cape Town to Victoria Falls, was an amazing experience.
I did some travelling already in my life, but Keith our driver from Zimbabwe was far the best guide I have met in my life. His knowledge was impressive about everything from geology, culture, wildlife.

Excellent experience from start to finish
I enquired about a safari with CATS Africa through Safaribookings, and they replied very quickly with all relevant details. Joyce was then very helpful and responsive in planning my safari until we got to the perfect trip for what we wanted and our budget. Payment was confirmed very quickly, which was reassuring. Everything was very professional, and other members of the office (John and Anne) were also helpful.
On the actual safari, everything went perfectly! Our driver/guide, Cyrus, picked us up exactly as arranged and off we went. Cyrus was not only very knowledgeable about the parks we went to and the wildlife, but also about modern Kenya in general and he was very interesting to talk to over our 5 day trip. He was experienced, kind and helpful. We went in 4x4 (Which I would personally recommend over a minibus) and it was really comfortable. We visited Nakuru, Naivasha and the Masai Mara - the trip was well planned in terms of time spent in each area and our accommodation was great. And of course we saw some amazing wildlife! The variety of the three parks was excellent, and while there was a fair amount of driving, it didn't feel like too much to me - especially as the road to the Mara is now pretty much fully paved. It was a bit wet in the Mara but that's December I think, and can only be a good thing. There was still a really high density of wildlife to be seen.
Overall, a fantastic experience that we won't forget for all the right reasons! CATS Africa are a trustworthy and experienced operator and I'd have no hesitation recommending them to others arranging a safari in Kenya.

Personable service, competent and accommodating staff
It was my first trip to Zimbabwe and it was thoroughly enjoyable. We used Zambezi for all land transfers and hotel accommodation for game drives / safaris in Zimbabwe and Botswana and everything ran like clockwork. Liaised with Laura before the trip and she worked around my preferred itinerary, picked us at the airport and reminded us of our itinerary daily. Norman drove us around all 5 days, covering both Zimbabwe and Botswana. When I needed transport to check into another hotel, Oscar turned up in a booked cab to pick us up in 20 minutes even though it was an ad-hoc request. The commitment and personalized service rendered by the staff was highly commendable. Would not hesitate to recommend Zambezi to anyone wishing to have a fuss-free, safe and enjoyable safari experience.

Perfectly Organized Three Day Tour, flexible organization
Lake Manyara, Tarangire Park, Ngorongoro Crater ... we saw so much animals. Our Guide knew a lot about the animals, the nature...

Amazing safari experience
The operator was very good to communicate with, we got answers quickly before the actual trip. Service was also good, I think the overall experience exceeded our expectations. We saw so many animals and some of them from very close. Good driver and a good chef, we will always remember this trip.
