Amazing nature experience
At my first visit to Botswana, I chose to go for safari with the Sekanka team, and it was a great choice! Sekanka is a citizen owned and family-run mobile safari company based in Maun in the vicinity of the unique world renowned Okavango Delta. I was feeling I am in good hands from the first moment, surrounded by the people who know their country and love it.
Inspired by the website, I decided to go on the 4 day (3 nights) midrange camping tour, and I got more than I expected. We were led by Selani, the tour guide with more than twenty years of experience, who understands the habits of the animals and knows the are of the Khwai River area well, and it was very helpful.
From Maun, we drove through the Mababe Depression, where we could see plenty of elephants just from the road. We made a few stops to stretch the legs and take pictures, including the lunch stop.
During the early morning and evening drives in the nature, we had a good luck to watch number of lions fighting over the territory and catch, a leopard whose catch was stolen by lions and then chased away, or mother hyena taking care of her cubs. Just few hundred metres from our campsite, the lions killed the buffalo, and we could barely sleep at night when the predators were fighting over the prey. It is very easy to spot elephants, hippos, zebras, giraffes, all kinds of antelopes, and buffalos within Moremi Game Reserve. A trip on Khwai on the mokoro, traditional wooden boat, gave us another perspective of the river.
For all three nights, we were based in a tented camp at the bank of the Khwai River. The camping beds have comfortable mattrass and there is a shower and the toilet by the tent. Besides the great tour guide, we were taken care of by experienced chef and four guys responsible for the campsite and the fire.
Sekanka picked us up at the airport and drove us to our accommodation in Maun – the same on the way back. Thanks to Anna and her team for amazing time in the wilderness and helping us to explore beautiful nature of Botswana!

Thank you once more, Patricia.
I would want to express my gratitude to Let's Venture Africa Safaris for providing me with an amazing experience. Out of the three options available, I decided to go with Let's Venture Africa, and I was in Masai Mara. Patricia was incredibly helpful with all of my inquiries, and making a reservation was a simple, quick procedure. The food, lodging, and pickup were all excellent. We were fortunate to have a knowledgeable game driver who made it possible for us to see nearly every species. Thank you once more, Patricia.

Incredible 3 days safari in family
We had the best experience ever booking our Safari with Wines. She's the best tour operator ever. She will help you book the perfect trip answering all your questions by WhatsApp weeks before the trip. And ensure you're enjoying it till the very very end. Wines is always available, and always of good advices.
We spent 3 days in Serengeti, Ngorongoro crater and lake manyara with our guide Said. Said was a great guide during this trip: he's a real encyclopedia when it deals with animals from the parcs, massai history, or anything related to his culture. We really enjoyed our discussions with him.
We did this trip with our 5 years old boy, he had the best time of its life. Wines and Said adapted it a bit for him, it was very nice of them.
One last thing: while preparing the trip we talked with wines about what we could bring to Tanzania to help local schools and children. Wines drove us at the end of the trip to 2 different orphanages to bring them clothes, toys, and school furnitures. Consider doing it, it's a great way of giving back to Tanzania, kids really need it, and you'll spend a great moment there.

Professional, on-time, prioritizes getting the best photos and best views of animals
Peter was an incredible host. In a 4 day safari we saw all of the top animals. Peter consistently counseled us to be patient and he was right. We saw a cheetah mother and cubs, a hyena eating a carcass, a leopard going up and down a tree and more. The tour group was professional, on-time and easy to work with. I'd highly recommend amazing memories!!!

Food was fresh tasy with choice of veg and meat. The camp felt safe. The tents had plenty of space to move around in plus electric points and toiket shower Staff were always ready to help. Overall great value for money on the budget tour. I would def recommend for those who dont want to spend a fortune but still have the experience of a lifetime.

Gamewatchers in Botswana
We didn't want to go on a standard group "tour" of southern Africa so we hooked up with Gamewatchers, who created a bespoke safari for my wife and I, my daughter, and her boyfriend. Our agent, Wayne Hammond, who is himself a seasoned African safari photographer, patiently assessed our needs and booked us into four venues__Ilala lodge in Vic Falls to start, then off to the bush and flood plains at Chobe Elephant Camp, Rra Dinare, and Splash Camp, the latter two in the Okavanga Delta. Everything was set up perfectly and each camp had its unique charms and terrain. The small aircraft transfers were right on schedule and we were expected, welcomed, and well cared-for in each camp. A lot of trust is required in booking these trips, and Gamewatchers delivered 100 percent. We felt the warm embrace of May in Botswana, an experience we will never forget.
I don't think you need to spend a ton of cash for five-star luxury. We went for mostly the mid-level camps which were comfortable, charming, and intimate, and which placed us very close to the environment we were seeking. The open-air vehicles were awesome and our guides and trackers, all local villagers, were incredibly skilled and knowledgeable and showed a genuine love for the world we were exploring. We were blown away by all the game we saw, the amazing stars, the vast terrain of the delta and Chobe national park, and the wonderful people who hosted us. In short, we wouldn't have changed a thing.

Knowledge and extremely interesting.
We did a tour of the Blyde river canyon, Bourke's Luck potholes, a few waterfalls and Graskop Gorge with our delightful guide, Bhekifa. He gave amazing information about the area and sites and knew the best times to aim for each place. We highly recommend Elephant Herd Tours and especially, Bhekifa.
