An excellent hike on Mount Kenya
5/5

My friend and I made a 5 day hike up Mount Kenya with Mount Kenya Climbing Expeditions. With no doubts, we had an amazing guide named Joseph that was exceptiona. The cook made great food and the porters were more than helpful, far much better than we had thought of at the start of the trek. The summit day was quite tough and thanks to our friendly guide who did everything possible to ensure we made it to the Lenana peak more easily. Hi encouragement was beyond imagination. The scenery is outstanding and the glorious sunrise on the summit dawn is a lifetime experience that will always remain with me. Mount Kenya Climbing Company organized this expedition so well and so hassle-free as per contract. They provided a clothing kit list that was particularly helpful and it is was good to have known well in advance that it got very cold! An excellent hike that defines an African adventure.

Amazing 9 days Honeymoon Safari In Southern Tanzania
5/5

We would like to thank Grassroots Safaris for our amazing 9 days Honeymoon Safari in Southern Tanzania!
And especially to our contactperson Mickey and to our driver/guide Fikiri.

We visited the mountains/waterfalls/rainforest of Udzunga National Park, the Savannah of Ruaha National Park and the riverbanks of Selous Game Reserve.
We saw all the animals we wanted: elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeasts, baboons, monkeys, crocodiles, hyenas, hippos, eagles, vultures, pelicans, storks, warthhogs, buffalos, impalas, kudus, waterboks, elands, more than 30 lions and even a leopard!!
Special thanx:
-Convinced us to go down South instead of to the more expansive & much more visited north.
-Gave us a reduction when we asked for more days/nature/wildlife instead of fancy hotels/resorts.
Conclusion:
Thanx to Grassroots we could go on a 9 days Safari instead of 5 days without spending a fortune, we slept at awesome locations in the middle of 'nowhere', we hardly saw other tourists during the day and ... we saw more animals then we could have hoped for!!

Definitely the 'experience of a lifetime' we wanted!! :-)

Great Sambia tour, top organisation, well planned
5/5

Ute from Roho Ya Chui organized a trip for my father and me to Zambia. This included all transfers in Zambia and the accomodations - which all turned out great. Communications with Ute were always were fast, friendly and professional. She took care of all our wishes, and we had a wonderful trip. We had a nice Lodge in Lower Zambesi (Kanyemba) and the probably best camp in South Luangwa (Flatdogs) - both with very good and professional guides. As for transfers we did road transfer by car, 20 passengers flight by plane (ProFlight) and 2 passenger flight in a tiny plane - and were kept very safe in all of them.
For my next trip i will contact Ute again and recommend Roho Ya Chui to everyone who would like to visit there as well.

Driver, guide and cook were excellent. ATC cut our guide loose 2 days early and the trip fell apart.

What started out as the trip of a lifetime ended in frustration. Our safe wasn't emptied and car keys were left behind. No big deal right? Drop them in snail mail and take care of your customer who spent thousands on the trip. Months went by and finally a rude email arrived saying that they wouldn't send me my keys. Such a small gesture left a really bad taste in my mouth. Once they get your money, they're done with you.

We loved the wildlife but were less impressed with the other catagories. We also realize it was merely a preference on our part.
