Nice people and great trip
5/5

Easy communication. We are kind of spontaneous and make our booking a day before our trip. But they still manage to take us to safari. The driver, Abdul was great! Experienced driver in the safari. Unfortunately I got sick in the safari. Abdul also took me to the hospital. Very grateful for that. At the end of the trip, they also asked us for feedback and get to know things to improve.

Great experience
5/5

Well organized tour. Our driver Richard was carefull and reliable. His experience and knowledge of the area made it possible that we even saw the big five. This and the selection of beautiful and luxerious lodges made the safari to one of our best experiences in our lifetime. Thank you Vervet Safari Tour. We would choose your service anytime again.

It's a very nice company where by everything was planed well and we were handled well.
4/5

Their guide was so equipped with the information about the park and he drove us well, had a lot of fun with him and show us a lot of animals which we didn't know about.

Extremely Rude Guide for Gorilla Trek
2/5

I cannot begin to express how disappointed and frustrated I am by the way our guide, treated me. I was very polite to him until I could not take it anymore. He made constant misogynistic jokes that were clearly a poor cover for his personal insults about my appearance and when confronted with his behaviour then made frequent jibes about 'mzungus' (whilst complaining about previous 'racist' clients). He only seemed interested in whatever meal he was going to get next. There was almost no communication except on the night before the trek and insinuated I would not be able to do it (after carrying on about requiring expensive equipment that was not needed anyway and not bothering to let me know when I could have bought it on the way). He then continued to repeatedly laugh and humiliate me after I achieved the trek. This man is a disgrace but he appears to be highly valued by his employers because he was training another guide. We were also taken back to our accommodation extremely late because my companion was talked into going on a very expensive walk around a resort in a national park. Avoid this organisation at all costs in case you are stuck with your dream of encountering gorillas being potentially ruined. This organisation gets 2 stars because of the accommodation chosen which was lovely.

Great value for money, friendly, helpful staff, incredible experience.
5/5

We originally booked the safari for 4 people and the team were great about giving us all the required detail. OUr booking then changed to 5, and then to 6 and they were great about accommodating this. Having done safari in Ngorogoro Crater, and Chloe in Botswana, I was really hoping this would be a good one - and it did not disappoint. Everything ran seamlessly, the driver (Richard) was fantastic and very helpful - but without being overbearing/invasive as some drivers can be. We also was felt very safe with him and the whole experience was excellent for everyone (me, my sisters and brother (24 - 24) and my parents (63)).

About: 4x4 Uganda
Very Poor Service/Non existent
1/5

A confirmed booking was made with Paul, the owner of 4X4 Uganda directly, for an airport pickup, some weeks ago for a lady arriving alone, this morning at Entebbe airport. No one was there to meet her and calls to his telephone numbers rang initially and were then turned off. Alternatives arrangements had to be made to get her to her hotel safely.
This company failed to deliver a basic service and caused reputational damage to our company and seemed unconcerned a lone female was left at the airport. My advice steer well clear of 4X4 Uganda

Simon is the epitome on professionalism
5/5

The experience was wonderful. We learnt a lot about the gorges at Hell's gate through Simon. Everything the tour promised was delivered above and beyond. The tour, the food, the information, the resources were all top notch. Keep up the good job Simon. Very understanding and cool person.

Serengeti is one of the 3 the best places in whole Africa for game watching. I love it without any restriction.

Review about Lake Manyara National Park by Gilbert Meon
Overall rating
2/5

It's a special NP with a thick forest, which makes game viewing very hard, especially big cats. It would be nice to come closer to the lake itself.
