Prime Safaris was a pleasure to work with from our first contact with Cate in the office to saying goodbye to Annais and Charles after a fabulous 9 days! We started in Murchison Falls and made our way down the west of Uganda, including incredible game drives, chimpanzee and gorilla trekking and stunning river cruises! I highly recommend this Ugandan owned safari company to anyone interested in experiencing the lovely hospitality of the Uganda people and the diverse and beautiful national parks of this very special country. My group of 11 are well-travelled people and we agreed this adventure was the best of all of our travels!

Wonderful, well-organized experience
The trip of a lifetime! Daily we experienced new highs in observing the animals, the country and the people. The driver/guides were very knowledgeable, competent and personable. Having two vehicles for eight people was great for viewing and photographing animals. Mercy and her team ensured that all the details of the trip went smoothly and communication with them was available throughout the planning and throughout the trip. We really enjoyed the Sentrim Lodges and the tent camp in the Serengeti.

Just perfect and everything we wished for
We just came from a 4 day safari trip with Suricata. Uau, so many impresions. Our guide Max was the best. He took us to see so many animals that I could not imagine before the trip. And so much information about the animals and everything. Soo impressed 👍👍👍 And the food...uau...shef Tito is the one to have. Delucios, every meal different and on a high level...just perfect. So if you are planning a safari in Tanzanija, Suricata is the one to choose. Will never forget it. Mira

We started as strangers but parted as family
Johnson Burihose of Bujo Safaris guided us on a 5-day unforgettable excursion in Uganda. His passion for his homeland is infectious, and his deep knowledge provides an intimate understanding of the country. Johnson was very communicative way before we arrived; staying in touch until our trip began early with a drive to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest in Bujo Safari’s ‘tricked out’ Land Cruiser. We had a photo-op stop at the Equator, unforgettable gorilla trek on day 2. Johnson then introduced us to a Pygmy village, offering fascinating cultural insights and a chance to dance with locals. Then onto Lake Bunyonyi, we enjoyed the warm hospitality of the Lake Bunyonyi Rock Resort and Tyson’s captivating stories on the boat ride. Finally, we explored Queen Elizabeth National Park, witnessing a leopard’s hunt—a highlight not to be missed. Chimpanzee trek, walking with zebras and giraffes and don’t forget, if time allows, the illusive shoebill stork; if you’re lucky you can catch a glimpse in the swamps off Kampala before heading to the airport.
Our group was small, me, my husband and niece and we never felt scared (well …there is a tricky road to the gorillas with no guardrail that gave my heart a jolt) or unattended; Johnson knows everyone and they are all happy to see him. My advice on these safari’s is to bring small money like 20K-50K shillings for tipping. I know it seems all inclusive, but the tipping is not. Ugandans are hardworking amazing people and a little kindness goes a long way

Omar- Very patient, enthusiastic and knowledgable
Omar was a fantastic safari tour guide. We took a trip with him to lake Manyara national park. We had a full safari vehicle with 7 people and Omar was very patient, allowing everyone to get the camera shots that they wanted and even stayed until the park closed to allow us the most time with the animals.
He was always open to stopping and waiting for animals especially when they crossed the path. He kept everyone aware of our surroundings ensuring we stayed safe especially when a couple of elephants blocked our vehicle on the way out of the park.
Omar was a very enthusiastic and smiley guide and I would recommend him to anyone looking for a very calm and patient guide.

Wonderful agency!
We just returned from a 9-day private tour of Rwanda. Aina handled all our travel needs and provided excellent service. We started communicating with her several months before our trip. Our main purpose was to see the gorillas, but we also wanted to see what else the country had to offer. Aina understood our travel interests and suggested a wonderful itinerary. All the treks and activities she planned for us were great! She was extremely responsive to all our questions and promptly replied to all our queries. Her rates were competitive and she totally delivered what she outlined and more! Her service was personal and attentive. We had questions after we got to Rwanda, and often texted her while there. She replied promptly and addressed any questions we had. She is very professional and reliable! I would definitely use her services again.
