Unforgettable adventure with Mawe African Ventures
My husband and I had the incredible opportunity to visit Tanzania last April, and our journey was made extraordinary thanks to Mawe African Ventures and our exceptional guide, Raphi.
From the very beginning, Raphael’s professionalism and passion for his country were clear. He meticulously prepared an itinerary that perfectly matched our interests, ensuring that every moment of our trip was memorable.
One of the most remarkable experiences was our visit to the Hadza tribe. We were privileged to not only visit them but also to take part in a hunting excursion, gaining a rare insight into their traditional way of life. Raphael’s deep respect and understanding of the Hadza culture, coupled with his excellent translations and explanations, made this an incredibly enriching experience.
The safaris were nothing short of spectacular. Raphael’s keen eye and extensive knowledge of the wildlife ensured we saw an abundance of animals, including the Big Five. It was amazing to see the tiny cubs with their mothers, a sight that will stay with us forever. Raphael’s ability to spot animals hidden in the tall grass with his naked eyes was truly impressive, adding an element of wonder to every game drive.
An unexpected delight was our lunch experiences at local restaurants, referred to as “hotels” by the locals. These meals gave us a genuine taste of Tanzanian cuisine and culture, far from the typical tourist spots. Eating where the locals dine added an authentic touch to our trip that we will always cherish.
Another highlight was our visit to a very local market. It was fascinating to see the variety of products and the freshness of the produce. Shopping alongside the locals and experiencing the vibrant market atmosphere provided a unique glimpse into daily life in Tanzania.
Throughout our entire journey, Raphael made us feel safe and well-cared for. His attention to detail and dedication to our comfort and enjoyment were unparalleled. What started as a client-guide relationship quickly turned into a genuine friendship. We came to Tanzania as guests and left as friend with Raphi and Veronica his wife.
If you are planning a trip to Tanzania, I cannot recommend Mawe African Ventures and Raphael enough. A wish come true experience
It was a wish come true. The guide Max could not be better. He told as everything and even moore. We so animals from a very very short distance. The food made by Tito made our safari unforgateful. On my second visit to beautiful Kenya 🇰🇪, I went on Safari again with the coordination of Mr David the humble gentleman from Nairobi, who is so helpful and flexible with arranging Safari packages and I was really glad when I realised that he has established his own company now “Easy Budget Safaris Ltd”.
Since I visited the great Masai Mara in 2017, there have been significant upgrades in services and facilities. Specially with the Safari camp🏕️ infrastructure, electricity, hot water, WiFi and even mobile network has improved a lot. Further the newly renovated road network 🚌 all the way down to Masai Mara and Amboseli from Nairobi makes the journey quicker and more comfortable, by saving time to get the maximum safari experience with unique wildlife.
Throughout the safari, accommodation and meals were perfectly arranged and I was well satisfied with that. Eventually I got an opportunity to explore some beautiful places close by Nairobi city as well ⛰️🛖.
I should keep a review on my recent Safari on this year 2024 April with my Mom and Dad as well. That was great and will come up with more beautiful pictures. With that experience, It is Highly recommend for any age group to explore the wildlife beauty with Easy Budget Safaris, as they reach to each and every individual with very kind hospitality along with years of safari experiences.

Michael is amazing, he took wonderful care of our group and gave us the experience of a lifetime!
I just got back from an 8 day safari with Michael and what a fantastic adventure it was! Michael greeted us at the airport and took us to our hotel for the night and picked us up the following morning to start our safari. Our first 2 days were spent in Tarangire National Park and we were absolutely blown away. Elephants, Giraffes, zebra, monkeys, lions, and many more. Michael is incredibly knowledgeable about the park and all of the animals. Our accommodations at the Lokasile Tent Camp were fantastic and everyone was so incredibly kind. It was a wonderful way to spend our first 2 nights. We then embarked on a long drive to the Serengeti but Michael made us so comfortable that we didn't even notice how far we had driven. We even jumped out of the truck in a rain storm to get a photo with a beautiful rainbow. We spent a few nights in the Serengeti and it just surpassed all of our expectations. We were able to see so much (wildebeest migration, thousands of zebras, gazelles, dik dik, hippos, the list goes on and on. Michael and Nelson adjusted our accommodations based on the location of the animals (they were constantly in contact with other guides about where the best spots were for sightings). After the Serengeti we drove down into the Ngorongoro crater and again we were all just mesmerized by what we were seeing, cape buffalo, rhinos, beautiful flamingos, lions, water hogs. There were 6 of us traveling together and we all agree that Michael is now family. I cannot recommend Cape Dog enough. This trip has been on the top of my bucket list for years and Cape Dog delivered an experience beyond my wildest dreams.

Benson Maina delivered an extraordinary experience!
Benson (Benjo) Maina is an amazing and extraordinary guide! I had picked “Into Adventure Safaris” based on the reviews here but was not sure what to expect - even a little nervous coming into a new country but Benson easily put all that nervousness to rest! Benson took very good care of us and it was very reassuring. He has vast experience and it really showed both with the information he shared and the places he took us. We were able to see all the animals on our list - that too up close - in the different parks. Our hearts really skipped a beat when the elephant and lion came close and looked at us. Ben is very passionate about his job and it really shows. He is very kind, considerate and very knowledgeable. It was a memorable experience for us which we will cherish for ever. It is way more than 5 stars!!!

Great Tour with Johnny
I recently booked a 3 day safari excursion with Jocky Tours and had an amazing time! I'm used to staying at the Four Seasons but i'm so glad I stepped out of my comfort zone and stayed at Lechanda Camp with Jocky Tours. As a person who has a deep fear of bugs, I had ZERO problems with my tent or the camp really for that matter and didn't leave with a single bug bite as I feared staying in the jungle. It was 3 of us in our tent and it had a toilet, with shower and hot water so all your basic necessities. The beds were comfy and had soft blankets. Our tour guide Johnny was very knowledgable of the animals and a great guide! We enjoyed our tours but on the last day we decided we wanted to head back to nairobi a little early around 6am instead of doing another game drive and he was very flexible and accommodating. Also communication prior to our arrival was very quick and responsive, Hellen was great as well! If you're looking for a great budget camp, I recommend going with Jocky Tours. We also booked a hot air balloon ride through the camp and it was great! There is a bonfire area that they can set up for you at night and I recommend bringing s'mores stuff!
