Sox gave us a unique African experience of Botswana.
My wife and I planned this safari with Sox last year. We chose Reflect Africa Expeditions because it was local based in Maun. We discussed a possible plan and then refined it to suit us. We are both 75years old and my wife needs help at times walking. We wanted to go to see as much wild game as possible away from a traffic jam of tourists when an encounter occurs. We set off from Maun with Sox who is our guide/driver, Maps the cook and Arnold who runs the camp set up. We spent 2 nights at Nxai Pan camping under the night sky listening to the animals singing. We saw lions, elephants, buffalo and all the game animals of the plains. Next we had 5 nights at Khwai in Moremi game reserve camping on the banks of the Okavango. Sox took us on numerous game drives reading the footprints of the animals to find an abundance of lions and all the plains animals. We did a Mokoro up the river and came up close to herds of elephants and enjoyed the birdlife. After this we went to Savuti and saw lions eating an elephant. As we drove towards Kasane we marveled at the giant baobab trees and came up close to a leopard. We had 3 days at Chobe in a waterway of beautiful African animals. A sunset boat cruise up the Chobe river looking at elephants, buffalo, different antelope, zebras, giraffes and birds up close was a great way to finish our safari. We had caring and knowledgeable people looking after us for the entire trip. Thanks to Sox and his team Maps and Arnold we had a unique experience we will never forget.

Fantastic!
We were a group of 4 adults and 4 kids (ages 9-13). We had an amazing Safari experience with Morning Star.
We had 2 guides—James and Alex. Both were great—very knowledgeable about all things Kenya—animals/birds, history, and culture. They were great with the kids and went above and beyond to make our Safari experience a once in a lifetime adventure. They were reliable, helpful and professional. Would definitely recommend a trip with Morning Star and count yourself lucky if you have James or Alex as your guide!

Gem of Africa offers a superb communication especially Janine Bouwer. She replied to my chat on whatsapp pretty on time and strive to hear customer's concern, needs and request.
My wife all of sudden (3 days before the trip) is unable to do the 5 days 4 nights trip that I have already booked and paid in full to Gem of Africa and want to change to 3 days 2 nights. Janine could have simply refused to refund like other Company would do but instead she tried to find the alternative options and offered to refund the price diffence.
Our tour guide is Asanda. He is very kind, helpful, polite, and fun. I would definitely recommend Gem of Africa to the world. Special thanks to Janine and Asanda. Our family was very happy.

the greatest tour in tanzania
We joined the tour as soon as we arrived at Kilimanjaro airport and visited tarangire, Ngorongoro and traditional tribal villages. I think the guide was very friendly.
The price was the same or a little cheaper than other safari tours.

Benjamin is a fabulous knowledgeable host and stunningly skilled driver!
The tour was everything it promised to be, focused on enjoying the natural habitat of the animals, the gorgeous landscape, and learning about the Maasai people. The vehicle was comfortable, all of the food was good, and the service excellent along the way. Grateful to have Benjamin as our guide!

Highly recommend
I was with my husband for 3 nights and 4 days and we joined a group of 6. The accommodation was particularly good for the 2night of the Lodge 1night Luxury Tent Camp, so I was able to relieve the tiredness of the tour all day long. There was a small problem, but there was no problem because the Mafia Venture solved it right away. This is my favorite part. The price is also reasonable. I loved that lunch was not a lunch box, but also included a drink, beer, and wine. Personally, I don't think the private tour will be fun, but I really liked the safari that I enjoyed with various people. In particular, I can't forget the warm atmosphere of Ngorongoro's Rhino lodge.

Fabulous experience with a great guide
Timo collected us on time, he was a great guide and went out of his way to make us feel happy and comfortable. Efficient whatsapp communication at all times made it easy to meet for all meals and to ensure our tour of the park began early enough to fit everything in. We stayed in the water hole chalet which was brilliant, and all meals were excellent. Timo was engaging and safely drove us everywhere and we felt like a little family for the duration of the tour. We feel it's definitely value for money considering the transport, accommodation and food/drinks are all of a high standard and we will certainly use your company again if we ever return.
