This is a responsible, prompt and reassuring Safari company, with a young and handsome boss.
We are from Shanghai, China, a group of 10 people, including 6 adults and 4 children. We chose Williamson because he always responded promptly and the WeChat communication was convenient. Our driver and guide, BONIFACE, had exceptional driving skills and great eyesight. We saw all the animals we wanted to see, including the wildebeest crossing the Mara River. The owner of Williamson's Safaris was attentive to our experience throughout the trip, including the later part of our journey to Zanzibar. In the words of Chinese people, this was fate! We would recommend Williamson to our Chinese friends and consider him a reliable choice. My husband and I have been to Kenya, but compared to that, our Safari trip to Tanzania was more spectacular and left us with profound and wonderful memories.

Well-organised small business who coordinated all our transport and accommodation in a hybrid tour
Rose made all the arrangements, ensuring we were taken care of from our arrival to our departure. We were collected at the airport, taken to the office to finalise payments, then driven to Nakuru via Lake Naivasha for the first two days as a private tour (just the two of us and our driver/guide, Joseph). After an overnight in Nakuru we drove to the Maasai Mara, joining up with several others on the way. We spent two nights at Miti Mingi camp and enjoyed game drives in the Mara before continuing on our itinerary. We travelled via Nairobi (on the day of protests - as seen on world news), with a change of vehicle and driver/guide (Moses) to Amboseli. We spent two nights at Nyati Safari Camp and had game drives in Amboseli. We were then driven to Namanga border crossing and assisted with exit from Kenya and entry to Tanzania before being driven to Arusha where we stayed at the Charity Hotel. Next morning we were collected by Amani and, together with a small group, drove to Ngorongoro and Serengeti. We had game drives in the Serengeti and in the Ngorongoro Crater, spending one night at Shuhudia Adventure Camp and the next at Rhino Lodge. Both were excellent. Finally we returned to Arusha and our last night at the Charity Hotel. Next morning we were collected and put on the shuttle back to Nairobi and our flight home. Despite a few small hiccups (such as the shuttle breaking down about half way back to Nairobi) and the disturbance caused by the protests against the proposed finance bill, we had a good safari and saw plenty of animals and birds. The guides were informative and helpful and the whole thing was well-organised by Rose in Nairobi.

Excellent Safari planning!!
Adelle Bell with Discover Africa, did an excellent job in helping us pour together our dream trip to Africa! She started with booking us a wonderful stay in Victoria Falls, Then on to two Safaris! She found us excellent lodges/camps that fully fit our budget and our dreams. She always responded and answered questions or made changes when desired.
She was wonderful to work with and I would highly recommend her and Discover Africa!

LovebirdSafaris is an amazing tour operator who will explore with you the best of Tanzanias wildlife
In August 2023 we spent 5 days with Adam, the owner of Lovebird Safaris, to go to Tarangire National Park, Lake Manyara National Park and the Ngorongro Crater.
Adam is the most kind and likable person and he has the unique ability to show you that exploring wildlife is not about rushing from sight to sight, but rather to be still and patient and wait for something to happen.
I don't know how he did it, but he always put his car in a spot where something breathtaking was happening, we just had to wait long enough. We had a family of elephants surrounding the car, a cheetah leaving it´s vista point running across the road right in front of us or Mama Elephant feeding her little baby. He always put us in the perfect spot to take amazing photos, even though we only used our mobile phone´s cameras.
One of the most extraordinary things was the picknick under a tree and using the toilet watching (or being watched?) by giraffes... And in the first days we already managed to see the Big Five, although the rhino was only a very small dot in the binoculars because it was so far away... Adam told us a lot about Tanzania, it´s people and culture and he even told us a Tanzanian song!
In just a few weeks we will visit Tanzania again, going to the Serengeti again and also to Tarangire and Arusha National Park. We will travel with Adam and this time we booked directly with him because his services last year were outstanding and we wanted to make sure that we spend as much time as possible with him, also meeting his wife and his other tour guides.
We cannot recommend Adam and Lovebird Safaris highly enough and we encourage everyone who wants to experience Tanzania and it's wildlife at it´s best to seek out the services of Adam and his team at Lovebird Safaris!

Great service beyond expectations
Lion King Adventures has been amazing with organizing our safari tour in Tanzania. Very well prepared and quite flexible to arrange the tour as per our needs. They were even flexible to change our schedule during our safari to accommodate an extra night in central Serengeti. Our safari guide Dominick was the best. He has 13 years experience and knows in and out of the entire Serengeti, Tarangire, Ngorongoro Crater. He has great network with other guides within the parks and always communicating in the radio to know the best wildlife sightings within the region. He is very knowledgeable about all the animals, geography, vegetation and the culture of Tanzania. He was very respectful to the wildlife and nature inside the parks. All in all, I highly recommend Dominick and Lion King Adventures for the safari touring company and can’t be thankful enough for giving us this unbelievable and memorable experience!

It's pretty average, not bad. It's good for the price.
It's pretty good for the price. There were almost no private safaris in that price range.
And it's nice that they provide beer as well. We also provide wine in the evening.
But the tip is a bit expensive, asking for $15-$20 per person.
