Lion King Adventures was incredible in every possible way. We had a fabulous itinerary and a great guide in Gilberto.
They were helpful every step of the way.
I would recommend them to anyone planning a trip to Tanzania and/or Zanzibar.

Traveling to Uganda with Grassrootz Adventure was an extraordinary, well-organized and unforgettable
5/5

I had the pleasure of traveling to Uganda this July with Grassrootz Adventures, and it was an extraordinary experience. The communication with the agency was excellent from the beginning, with prompt and detailed responses to all inquiries.
The service provided was impeccable. Our tour guide was knowledgeable and passionate, and the entire staff went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and enjoyment. The trip offered excellent value for money, with high-quality accommodations, meals, and exclusive experiences that were well worth the cost. The tour was highly reliable, with everything running smoothly and any minor issues swiftly handled.
Uganda's beauty was showcased perfectly, from gorilla trekking in Bwindi to exploring Queen Elizabeth National Park and experiencing the local culture.
Overall, traveling to Uganda with Grassrootz Adventures was an unforgettable experience that exceeded all expectations.
Highly recommended for anyone looking to explore Uganda.

Well organised, magical and memorable safari trip
5/5

Our holiday was a beach and safari mix. We had 2 nights on Zanzibar then 3 nights on safari at Selous Tanzania then back to Zanzibar for a final 2 nights. Everything was well organised. When we landed in Tanzania at 6.30am the jeeps were waiting to pick us up. We went straight on a full day safari - was amazing but a tiring day. The Selous camp was just as i imagined very rustic - each couple sleeping in their own hut with own ensuite and large 4 poster bed. The electricity was limited and lighting not ever very bright but this added to the magic of the experience. Everything was very clean and you always felt safe as security was good. There was a swimming pool to use which was very welcome as it was clean and refreshing.
The 2nd day morning was a boat trip on the river where we saw mainly crocodiles and hippos - again well organised and just amazing. In the afternoon we had an hours bush walk with a guide and a maasai man who taught us lots about the plants and trees in the area. This was again well organised and very interesting. Day 3 was another full day safari which allowed us to see what we missed on day 1 - but as we saw lots on Day 1 for us this felt rather repetitive- but as we were with a different guide we had a totally different experience which helped
We would definitely recommend the safari it was excellent value for money very well organised, breath taking and memorable in every way.
We had the pleasure of a local male elephant wandering into camp twice whilst we were there the Maasai men and camp security kept us all safe whilst allowing us to be close enough to get brilliant photos - this added to our experience where we made memories to last a lifetime

Bellow expectations, but good
3/5

We booked a 4 day safari in Masai Mara and Lake Nakuru. It was a good safari but to be fair on the third day you should except no safari, as you leave from Masai Mara after visiting the village and drive to Nakuru, arriving at 4pm at hotel. I think there must be something to do on the third day rather than being on the car and at the hotel. Also we couldn't see the herbivores crossing the river, male lions and leopards, and barely no explanation about the itinerary and the animals were given to us.
A girl from the group got a stomach infection and suspected it was from Lenchada Camp.
It was a bit disappointing but a great experience since Masai Mara and Nakuru are great parks.

Great
5/5

Mark was a great driver and guide. He took his time to show us the park and to give us some additional explanation on the animals we spotted. He drove us there and back safely, although driving in Kenya is not for beginners as they overtake a lot. Keep that in mind. As I couldn't log in to the ecitizen site he logged into his so I could do the payment as such. I'm grateful for that. He was however a bit late for the pick up and didn't properly communicate about that. Same goes for Karibu Safari, it wasn't properly communicated to me that there was another person joining but overall a great experience. Mark also drove me to an ATM to get the money I owed. I can recommend him.

Exceptional, professional in every aspect
5/5

Words cannot express my gratitude and admiration that I have for the Almighty Kilimanjaro team that was responsible for me reaching the summit of Kilimanjaro. This was by far the hardest thing I have ever done as far as overcoming my fears.
Led by Amiry our head guide, this experience was the best it could be. The attention to detail, concern, observancy, communication, humor and skill are unmatched. We also had Thomas , John ,mkude and Raphael as our guides. Almighty works like a machine, and like any, all parts are important. The porters, cooks, waiters, camp setters, water porter, etc. are professional, caring, and always ready to help and lend a hand where needed. All are important and treated as important parts of this operation.

Altitude (Above the rest)
I have to say a special thank you to Amiry and John who assisted me on the really challenging parts (for me) - going downhill and going near edges and tricky footwork, especially on the Baranco Wall and coming down from the summit. I had to overcome alot of fear. Their patience and flexibility were unwaivering. Also, during the summit night/day, I had a porter, Suma - (iron man) who held my backpack, reminded me to drink water, and was there when I needed support getting up and down the mountain. All were angels in my book.

Aptitude and Attitude (Exemplary)
In addition to all of the hard skills or aptitude that the Almighty kilimanjaro team has to have including navigating Kilimanjaro, administering health checks, assessing illnesses, guiding people of all ages and abilities, managing timing of the daily hikes based on the speed of participants, insuring the safety of all, the attributes that set them apart are their attitude and people skills. Communication, patience, honesty, integrity, calmness, flexibility and humor - all exemplary attributes I experienced.

I would not hesitate to recommend this crew to anyone...so blessed and lucky to have made this trek and reaching the ultimate summit, with them.
