Great experience made easy with expert organisation.
5/5

Thanks to Face of Africa for accommodating my “last minute” decision to go on a short (two days, one night) safari from Arusha. I got in touch with Hamadi whilst in Arusha and he came to meet me at my hotel. He was very helpful in getting me organised quickly. We worked out a schedule on Saturday afternoon and by Sunday morning 8am, I was on my way. Special thanks to my driver/guide, Dickson, who speaks perfect English and knowledge of the flora and fauna is outstanding. Dickson listened to my specific requests and made sure I got the trip I wanted. I was really pleased with the decision to go to Tarangire National Park on day one, as this turned out to be the better of the two days as far as animal spotting was concerned. Got some great close up encounters with elephants, lions, giraffes and of course, those cheeky civet monkeys who like to steal tourist lunch items! I opted for an upgraded lodge from 3 stars to 4 for a really good deal and the lodge was so lovely it felt like 5 stars. Day two was spent in the beautiful Lake Manyara National Park which was disappointing as I didn’t get to see any hippos but the bountiful bird life made up for the lack of hippos. This day provided a good contrast to the previous day and was so peaceful and relaxing. I came away feeling refreshed and very happy with my adventure photos.

This was a great, value for money trip which was very well organised and everything went to plan. I have no hesitation in recommending Face of Africa for a tailored adventure that will not break the budget but delivers on expectations.

Trip of a lifetime!
5/5

I would give SunUp Adventures more than 5 stars if I could! Before the trip even began, Chris was very responsive to all my messages and made sure everything was in order for our trip. We went on a 7 day private safari, and everything was very well organized. John was our safari guide, and he was amazing to say the least. He is very knowledgeable about the animals and parks, along with being a genuinely nice person. He made sure we saw every Big Five animal up close and personal, along with so many more! All the lodges we stayed at were above our expectations, and there was always more than enough food and water. I would highly recommend booking your safari trip with them for a trip of a lifetime!

Fantastic Walking Safari!!!
5/5

I would like to recommend this tour for anybody who enjoys walking as we spent a day at Hells gate cycling then left our bikes and walked to the amazing gorge. It was such a beautiful thing to do instead of siting in the safari vehicle , the afternoon was even better as we had sun set sailing away in a boat at Lake Naivasha. It was amazing.
The safari part was also very nice it was well organised and very good value for money.

Perfect from booking to finish! 100% recommed Mama Savana
5/5

We had a fantastic time on our safari. From requesting a quote from Mama Savana and getting in on the same day from Alex by email and getting to ask questions and clarifying all points we had via whatapp immediately plus help booking our international flights, to going on the actual safari guided by Allen, that was patient, friendly, knowledgable and caring amongst many other adjectives we can give him, we felt at home and part of the family. They both made sure we got the best time and saw all wished for. We did and saw... the big 5, the big 9! Was amazing.

Amazing Safari!
5/5

This was our first safari experience so we were a little bit worried about what to expect. During the bookings process, the communication was very good and Emma helped us with all our questions. Upon arrival our driver Frank made us feel at home right away. Our 5-day safari was above your expectations. We saw so much wildlife. Guide Julius really had an eye for spotting the animals. It was an amazing safari and we hope to come back!

Extraordinary Experience
5/5

This is really a must-do when you are in Kenya or East Africa - these guys are doing an amazing job.

We spent a whole week within the Maasai Village, while you normally stay inside a Camp. Living in the village with Mpairo, Corinna and the family was really an extraordinary and totally geat experience. Though we could learn a lot about culture and warm hearts. We drank tea in the maasai houses, cooked together with them, met a lot of cows, sheeps, goats, cats, dogs and puppies and felt at home.

The house and guest room is very cosy and nice. It offers more comfort than a traditional maasai house like a matress, a couch, a terasse, a kitchen and basic bathroom.

During our visit we went on a Game Drive with Corinna and Mpairo where we could see a lot of great animals like for example lions, cheetahs, elephants, buffalos, hyenas, zebras, giraffes, hippos, crocodiles, antelopes and many more. It was really a lot of fun and Mpairo knows the parc very well and is great in finding all the animals.

We also went for half day hiking tour with Moses und Koreata which gave us the opportunity to learn about the nature surrounding us.

Next to that we were able to visit the school and another traditional Maasai village.
What also was really interesting for us was to visit the market and the "shopping center".

All-in-All this was one of the best weeks during our world travel so far.
So, everybody we met: thank you so much for everything.
