An incredible deep dive into Botswana's wildlife!
I booked the 4-Day Okavango & Moremi tour as a solo traveler with a general idea of what to expect, but all four days exceeded my every expectation. My guide, Liberty, and the rest of excellent team kept me laughing and learning. Liberty was a wealth of knowledge about the animal life (birds included), and he was able to help me spot wildlife I never would have been able to find on my own. His expert guiding enabled me to see elephants, hunting wild dogs, baby hyenas, lions, a leopard, and so, so many more animals. Each meal provided was its own masterpiece. The chefs cooked over an open fire (a skill in itself), and it was evident that love was poured into each meal. From fresh chocolate cake to a spinach frittata, I was never hungry. I could not have eaten better at a Michelin star restaurant. I was so glad the itinerary included the mokoro experience as it allowed for the Okavango Delta to be experienced in such as tranquil and unique way. I could not recommend Liberty and everyone else at Skytheme Safaris enough. The experience from start to finish was professional yet personalized.

GO SOLO, GO ALMIGHTY KILIMANJARO
As a solo traveler, I summited Kilimanjaro on July 24, 2024, with a local registered company called Almighty Kilimanjaro, and I couldn't recommend them more. Coming alone to a foreign country (I'm from Spain) can be a little overwhelming, but I always felt very safe from the beginning. They took care of me like I was one of their own.
Choosing a local company is not only cost-effective, often half the price of international companies, but it also means contributing more directly to the local economy (and their pockets). I contacted Almighty Kilimanjaro via their website and then through WhatsApp with the owner Rashid. Everything was clear from the start—we agreed on a price and schedule, and the trip was organized smoothly.
Accommodation:
The Salinero Kilimanjaro Hotel, where I stayed at the beginning and end of the trip, was a gated hotel with excellent security. The staff were very attentive and helpful, making for a great stay. The breakfast buffet was also quite good.
The Hike:
I took the Marangu route (5 days) and reached the summit thanks to the incredible guide, John Damian, and his team—Joseph, Enro, Julius, and the chef, Aalbad. Initially, I was concerned about the elevation since I had never hiked/climbed that high before, but the team was always there to answer my questions and calm my nerves. They checked my oxygen levels and pulse twice a day and ensured I followed all safety procedures.
We had daily briefings about the next day's plans, including the route, weather conditions, clothing, and items to pack. (If you don’t own gear, they conduct a gear check at the beginning of the trip, allowing you to rent necessary items at an affordable price). Always follow your guide's advice; if they suggest using poles, do it—you'll need them later on.
Attention to Detail:
The team's attention to detail was incredible. They were always watching over me. The food was another highlight—Aalbad, the cook, prepared nutritious meals every day, rivaling those from a nice restaurant.
Extra Activities:
If you have extra time before or after the climb, visiting the Materuni Waterfalls and going on the coffee tour there is a must. Located in the last village before Kilimanjaro National Park, you'll learn about the Chaga people and how to make some of the best coffee you've ever tasted.
Final Thoughts:
During my time there, I was treated like family by John, the crew, and the driver, Abduly. I now feel like I have family in Tanzania. For aspiring climbers, get the best value for your money—go local, go with Almighty Kilimanjaro. Asante sana ndugu, tutaonana hivi karibuni (Thank you, brothers, hope i can see you soon).

Excellent and reliable tour operator.
Very reliable tour operator plus the driver/tour guide Ivan is really good and kind. He advised us accordingly on what to do next. Value for money i must say as it's quite an affordable tour company. We spent 5nights at the Murchison falls and we didn't regret any second. Such memories ought to be lived once in a lifetime.

Steven and Eric work well as a team !
Hey Eric , tell me what you think:
Axis Africa is the premier choice for booking travel in Kenya! I recently booked a 3-day, 2-night Maasai Mara safari, and Eric Bande was exceptional from start to finish. His patience, expertise, and personalized itinerary made my planning process seamless. Eric’s attentiveness continued throughout my trip—he checked in daily and even surprised me with two glasses of wine to help ease the nerves of traveling solo all the way from New York.
My driver, Steven, was outstanding. His patience, kindness, and extensive knowledge of the animals and history made the journey from Nairobi to the Maasai Mara enjoyable and informative. Steven’s skilled driving and informative commentary enriched my safari experience.
If you’re considering a safari, look no further—Axis Africa is the way to go. Their outstanding service made me feel right at home.

Our member was the best
I contacted five companies and decided to choose Moria as I was looking for the most reasonable price and review.
First of all, Joshua, who contacted me because I lacked English, responded very kindly, and the guide was very friendly and safe, so I had a pleasant safari trip.
The food I ate 3 times a day was also very delicious. The food was the best.

Great safari adventure
For our 9-day safari we visited Tsavo west, Amboseli, Lake Nakuru, Ol Pejeta, Lake Naivasha and Masai Mara. Big thanks to Alice and the whole team for organizing everything and making us feel well taken care off during the whole trip.
Our driver guide was an excellent driver, and it was very clear that he knew all the parks very well. He made sure we found all the good spots, and we got to see almost everything we wanted to see, including a leopard and a river crossing in Masai Mara.
The reason we can't give a 5-star review is because of shortcomings in our view related to our driver guide. In short we expected our driver guide to be our guide, in addition to our driver. We felt that the role as guide was less prioritized and he focused only on the work of being a driver.
From the start we did not get the impression that he was interested in getting to know us.
We felt it was difficult to keep a conversation going, and he was using his phone a lot.
We expressed on several occations that we wanted as much time spent on game drives as possible. Almost always he proposed less time driving, and we had to negotiate to get some more time. This made us feel quite
uncomfortable. At times we felt the mood in the car was not good, and on several occations felt we were a liability.
In Masai Mara he proposed a game drive much shorter than what was stated in our itenerary. We raised this with the booking team, which clearified this with the driver, making the last safari day worry-free and a wonderfull day for us.
On a last note, we would absolutely consider traveling with Morningstar again, and also recommend them to our family and friends. We would however try to better align the expectations prior to arrival.

Eddie is very cheerful and considerate
The tour had great value, and I thoroughly enjoyed my first safari. Our tour guide, Eddie, was very considerate and made sure that we had an excellent experience spotting the animals. The facilities are also great, with very comfortable tents and food that catered to dietary restrictions.
