Don’t Look Any Further - book with Meektrails!
We've just returned from a seven day safari in Kenya through Meektrails Safaris and we cannot say enough great things about the company, the people, the itinerary, the lodges they recommended, and especially our incredible guide. Traveling were two adults and our four kids (ages 13,14,20 and 22)
Picking a safari company is overwhelming. We don't have a lot of friends who have done this so I had to rely on a lot of research and reading reviews. My whole family is so happy that we landed at Meektrails. The communication with our travel expert, Eliud, was reliable and quick. There are times I'm certain that I reached out to him when it was some obscene hour in Kenya and he always got back to me in a timely, professional manner with great information. Most notably, Eliud was there is a SERIOUS pinch when I had messed up our Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA). He and the Meektrails team literally saved our vacation.
Our itinerary went from Nairobi to Amboseli to Lake Naivasha to Lake Nakuru to the Masai Mara in seven days. It's a lot of time in the vehicle but the big, upgraded LandCruiser was seriously spacious and comfortable. Meektrails gave us a suggested list of lodges which I tweaked a little to our individual needs, but all of the lodges were awesome - comfortable rooms, awesome security, nice amenities and food that literally pleased everyone in our group.
The very best part of our safari was our incredible guide, Joseph, who fit in wonderfully with our big family. Joseph managed to be ever present for advice, information, counsel and help, while also being totally discreet and unintrusive. When you go on safari, you're going to spend A LOT of time with your guide, and it was fantastic to have someone who was so knowledgeable, hard-working, personable and experienced. Joseph is an incredible driver (always safe, and it's NOT EASY to navigate through some of these towns!), but most importantly he is a veritable font of knowledge about Kenya, it's parks, the animals, the culture, the history. We loved learning from him and hearing about all of the animals we saw. And we saw a lot!
Meektrails says, "We take you close!" and they mean it! There were times when we were literally 15 feet from a wild animal and our guide always seemed to know where to find them. We saw just about everything you can imagine and many things that I couldn't!
It was truly a magical experience to have this safari. I was a little apprehensive about how much it would cost and how we would get the fees to them, but Meektrails made it affordable and easy to deal with the financial aspect this trip of a lifetime. There are a lot of companies who want your business to do a safari - trust me and choose Meektrails. They do an incredible job from start to finish and you will be glad you chose them!

Amazing safari, great service and price.
Our booking experience was very easy. The trip was amazing. We are a family with two teenage kids on a 5-day safari from Masaai Mara to Lake Nakuru and Lake Naivasha. Our guide (Jack) was knowledgeable about wildlife, culture and current events. We felt safe and well taken care of the whole time. Highly recommend Axis Africa Safari. The price was fair and the quality of the trip was amazing.

Fantastic from start to finish
We have just returned from a 6 day safari and 4 day beach stay. We travelled through Tarangire National Park (where our highlight was the biggest gathering of elephants I have ever seen in the river), Central and North Serengeti, where we were lucky enough to see herds of wildebeest crossing the Mara river, also viewed many other wildlife highlights, including lions, hippos, elephants, zebras, crocodiles, buffalos, leopards, cheetahs, hyenas.....
Ngorogoro Crater was our final safari destination, where we managed to spot a couple of elusive black rhinos and onto Zanzibar for some relaxation and snorkelling by the beach.
It was fabulous, all of it.

Fantastic experience
Kenya was a fantastic experience, starting with the Kenyans that are so friendly and helpful. The game drives were just like "National Geographic" and "Out of Africa". Masai culture is so rich and was great to visit the Masai Village.
Something to do at least once in a lifetime.

Amazing safari in Kenya
We loved Kenya! We went to Lake Nakauru and this was one of our favorites due to the diversity of animals. When we went it was so lush and green and lots of opportunities to see lots of wild life. I would have loved an additional night here. Our second favorite was Maasi Mara. So many elephants! We stayed at Osero tented Camp, this was by far my favorite tented camp. The camp was very intimate and tents were beautifully appointed. The super friendly staff and exceptional customer service made it even better. My third favorite park was Tsavo East. Lots of elephants and lost lot lions. I would highly recommended Kenya to anyone want to do a safari. We saw all of the big 5 and so much more by the second day. We also saw lions every day on our nine day safari.

Review about Ngorongoro Crater by Anna O'Brien
Spectacular scenery, with an abundance of wildlife, large enough that the animals could hide away if they wanted to, so we felt lucky when we came across elephants, lions, rhinos and hippos.

Vast area meaning wildlife felt truly wild. Spotless and extremely well respected and managed. Plenty of wildlife to view, but really nicely spread out and natural.

Review about Tarangire National Park by Anna O'Brien
Our first national park in Tanzania delivered several memorable moments, including a huge gathering of elephants in a river, lions lying very close to the track, giraffes, zebras, and lovely green bushy landscape.
