Excellent and unforgettable experience
5/5

Our safari guide Joshua is so nice and extremely knowledgable on all of the animals. You could tell that he really cares and is very passionate about the animals. He shared his knowledge of the animals, the history of the parks, the culture and more. The first two days in National Park, we already seen all the big fives, which we must give credit to Joshua's professionalism.

Lightness from the office also helped us a lot with her quick response to enhance the planning of this trip.

I am grateful for this once-in-a-lifetime journey and will undoubtedly cherish the memories forever.

Super friendly and reliable
5/5

I highly recommend this agency. Staff is super friendly, competent, reliable, and they speak excellent English. We asked them to arrange a train trip for us with the public Madarail train from Tamatave to Moramanga. These first class tickets are very hard to get. Theresia from Soul of Madagascar queued up several hours at the ticket counter and then, after some negotiations with the manager, she managed to get the tickets for us, even though the train was officially sold out. —- The train trip was a pretty unique and authentic experience, running through magnificent landscapes and remote villages. We were the only tourists on board. With just 25,000 Ar it was cheap as well. Big thanks to Theresia!

Mwanje showed great communication and helped us design our perfect safari in Maasai Mara. This made for a great safari experience and amazing stay at Mara Serena Safari Lodge. Our driver was also super friendly and knowledgeable.

Exceptional customer service from start to finish.
5/5

We have just finished a 3 day safari in the Serengeti, as part of our honeymoon, organised by Dancing Simba Safari. All I can say is that it was exceptional and far exceeded our expectations.

I was nervous about booking through a company I had found on a comparison website, however our contact from Day 1 (Brenda) was on hand to support with our booking and answer all of our queries, round the clock. She tailored a package to meet our budget, expectations and requirements. Brenda organised everything from our transfer to leaving our hotel in Zanzibar to our transfer to Kilimanjaro Airport for our international flight.

We flew from Zanzibar to Serona (via Arusha) seamlessly (the second flight had great views in a 15 seater plane), where we met our guide (Bulldozer). With over a decade of experience, he stayed with us and expertly guided us through out our 3 day private safari experience. He tailored our safari to what we wanted to do. We seen every key animal there was to see (apart from one), which on a really short safari is testament to the skill of the guide. We have thousands of photos that will last a life time.

Due to our short trip, we spent most of the time on the game drives. That said, the accommodation that you choose is important. Where possible, I would recommend a camp inside the national park, they range in price and quality drastically. Our favourite was The Escarpment Luxury Camp - it was exceptional. It can feel scary at night (the camps are in the midst of the park where the animals roam, so important to have somewhere you feel comfortable).

On our return to Arusha, we swung by the Dancing Simba office to meet the owner (that we had heard so much about).

An exceptional experience that is highly recommended.

Perfect safari experience in Tanzania
5/5

We met a great migration in Serengeti NP and got up close to the elephants and lions in Ngrongro crater. Jarome was very professional and responsive in communicating the safari itinerary.Stanley has a lot of experience in finding animals and the chef Buga finishes a good job of arranging the daily meals. We got the perfect safari at a reasonable price with Meru.

It's super cool. The guide is very experienced, can always predict the direction of the animal
5/5

We are a private customized itinerary for four people. The schedule is very reasonable and time management is excellent. The guide always finds the best Angle to show us the animals. The guide is very good at communication, warm-hearted, kind and patient. It is a very cost-effective choice.

4D/3N Gorilla Trekking + Lake Mburo
5/5

We did 4 days Tour with Equator, Gorilla Trekking and Lake Mburo and were super satisfied with the trip!
Derrick Wadria was the perfect guide, funny, knowledgeable and very flexible to meet our needs and schedule.
He had always a smile on his face and this made our trip unforgettable. He also bought bananas and pineapple from the local vendors for us to try and they were delicious.
The meals were always tasty, the quantity was adequate and the places we slept in were really charming.
The setting of the tents in Bwindi was really magic and we loved the night fireplace and the garden around them.
The tent in Lake Mburo was amazing, unfortunately we only slept 1 night there - but the view above the savanna was breathtaking.
Also the management was very accommodating and reassuring as we had to adapt the standard itinerary to our afternoon flight.

Only con was the car, we didn’t get the typical safari jeep but a tourist van - it was okayish but the front seats were staying right above the engine and sometimes it was too warm - plus the windows were smaller.
Plus, please include in the list of what to bring the gloves for gorilla trekking - it was not nice to unexpectedly pay 10$ for a set of gloves.

If we ever come back to Uganda we will definitely book again with Home to Africa and possibly Derrick as guide :)
Thank you!

5/5

We were a group of 8 people (2 families) and we did Soweto and Pretoria all day tour. Everything was perfectly organized, our guide named Sello was fantastic, very prepared but also funny, he was able to make our day really enjoyable. We all appreciated very much the experience in Soweto, especially the visit to the kids school! It had been memorable!!
