10 Night Tour In Rwanda, Uganda & Tanzania
5/5

We booked this trip very last minute (1 week before starting) and Kubwa Five efficiently arranged the tour with no problem and even though they had such short notice were able to book some great hotels and lodges for us as well as two fantastic tour guides. Another stand out point of Kubwa was that they always kept in contact and kept us updated on everything we needed to know.

We started the tour in Rwanda, where we were picked up at the Kigali Marriott by the super-friendly and charismatic Smith (insta: Smithtourguide Uganda) who was always upbeat and forever had a smile on his face. SmithTourGuide gave us a city tour of Kigali and then drove us to Volcanoes National Park where we went Golden Monkey trekking.

SmithTourGuide then drove us over the border into Uganda and to Bwindi National Park. It was a long drive but SmithTourGuide made it so much fun and one of the best moments of the tour was when he stopped near a village where there were a group of children, turned up the car radio and we danced with the children off the side of the road. They were so cute, laughing and had so much fun (as did we!).

The following day we had an unforgettable time gorilla trekking and got right up to a group of gorillas. It was amazing and you should definitely do it if you get the chance.

The second part of the tour was a safari in Tanzania and we were met at Kilimanjaro airport by Alpha, our second wonderful guide who took us on game drives at Ngorongoro Crater and Serengeti. Alpha is an experienced guide who knows the areas like the back of his hand and was often able to locate animals before other safari companies. We saw so many animals including the big 5. Although Alpha must have done these game drives countless times, he was still very enthusiastic and we could see he still very much enjoyed seeing the animals. He also had an enormous knowledge of the flora and fauna and could answer all our questions about the animals, vegetation and geography. Not to miss an opportunity Alpha unexpectedly even took us on a game drive in the morning before dropping us off at the airport and it was so much appreciated.

One unfortunate occurrence was that the estimate they gave us before booking was way off and increased by a whopping 34% when it came to booking. It was blamed on lodge rates and forgetting to add the park fees and VAT (even though they were shown as included in the estimate). I understand that lodge fees may have been more expensive as it was quite last minute but the rest was a huge error on their part.

That issue aside, we really enjoyed our 11 days exploring Rwanda, Uganda and Tanzania and I would highly recommend Kubwa Five as a friendly and caring company who truly want their customers to have a great time. I researched a lot of companies before committing to Kubwa Five and I believe I made a really good choice.

Beyond Expectations
5/5

When I first planned this trip I was going with a partner. However, things had changed and I was going solo. A lot of thoughts ran through my head on how a solo trip to Africa for the first time would go. All these issues were pushed aside by Serengeti Clarity and more specifically my personal tour guide Abdul. Abdul made sure every day was filled with what I wanted to see and do. He’d introduced me to local and authentic foods which I became addicted to and went out of his way to get me into a few tours on the side around Mto Wa Mbu and with the Maasai. I’m not sure if I’ll ever be able to come back this way again but if I did it would be with Serengeti Clarity and Abdul especially.

Steve gave us a lot of information about the country, the people and the animals, drove carefully
5/5

The tour was very well organized and we had a really great guide in Steve. We visited four national parks and stayed in camps and lodges. Madukha Tours made our individual requests possible. We can only recommend Madukha and would book with them again.

Excellent

Rose was very good in the communication beforehand. I made some several changes in my booking. She was very transparant about the options there were.

The safari itself totally lived up to the expectations. Guide Hans was very knowledgeable and showed us great things.

The Ultimate Safari Experience: Comfort, Adventure, and Spectacular Service
5/5

I recently completed a 10-day Magical Kenya Safari with Safariline Defender Tours, and as someone who has been on more than five safaris, I can confidently say this was one of the most magical experiences I've had.
From the moment I inquired about the trip, the communication with Rose was seamless. She was incredibly responsive, knowledgeable, and ensured every detail was taken care of.
The itinerary was perfectly curated, taking me from the iconic Masai Mara to the stunning Lake Nakuru National Park, then to the unique landscapes of Samburu, the serene beauty of Lake Naivasha, and finally, the majestic Amboseli.
What truly set this safari apart was our guide Jeff. Friendly, professional, and deeply passionate about the wildlife and landscapes of Kenya, he made each day an adventure. His expertise and ability to spot wildlife, share interesting facts, and ensure we were always in the right place at the right time made the experience even more special.
The 4x4 Land Cruiser provided for the journey was incredibly comfortable, even during the long drives between parks. It was well-equipped with everything we needed for a smooth and enjoyable ride, ensuring that the sometimes challenging terrain was never an issue.Every lodge and camp we stayed at was top-notch, offering a great mix of comfort, incredible views, and excellent service.
The entire trip was well-organized, with smooth transitions between destinations, allowing us to fully immerse ourselves in the beauty of Kenya without any worries. If you're looking for a safari that combines excellent service, knowledgeable guides, a well-planned itinerary, and a comfortable, well-equipped vehicle, Safariline Defender Tours is an excellent choice. Whether it's your first safari or your tenth, they have a way of making it feel like the adventure of a lifetime.

Unbelievable trip of a lifetime!
5/5

Our trip, masterfully arranged by Bev of Elephant Herd Tours, was magical - the absolute trip of a lifetime. Within a relatively short time - 8 days - we got to see so much of South Africa and Eswatini. I travelled to Johannesburg on a work trip and then extended my stay to go on this safari, and I am so glad I did.
We had multiple safaris in Kruger, enjoyed incredible vistas on the Panoramic Route, and visited several well-known game reserves such as SabieSands, Kruger, Hluhluwe-Imfolozi, and iSimangaliso. We got to enjoy the savannah, the bush, the mountains, the high and low veld, the coast, the estuary, and the Indian Ocean. Completely unforgettable moments, the accommodations were great - especially the Zarafa, which was magnificent in every way - we saw the big five multiple times, had close-up and personal interactions with elephants, and got close to wild lions, spotted cheetahs, leopards, rhinos, giraffes, monkeys etc. My teenage daughter learned so much about animals and nature conservation in the process.
Bev was flexible and adapted to our wishes when we had last-minute requests. We felt looked after and cared for the whole way; the guides were stellar, appeared to be having as much fun as we were, and were always ready to answer our many questions and provide in-depth, thoughtful answers. Highly recommend Elephant Herd Tours and all we encountered there, from Bev and Brandon in the office to Trevor and Wesley, Kallie, and everyone else at EuroZulu (namely Johan, Sabelo, and Siyabonga) who took us on several game drives and boat trips up the estuary. I would give this trip 10/5 stars if I could as it exceeded all expectations several times over. Amazing!
