Fulfilling a lifetime desire to experience the African migrations for a disabled person!!!
My daughter, Sarah, and I just came back from the most exciting safari with Flash Safaris and Photography. In my case it was the fulfillment of a lifetime wish to go to Africa and see the wild animals, the migrations and also the research sites of the Leakey's. And since I'm an older fellow who uses a wheelchair full-time -- it's not easy. But Magda, Robert and Adam put together a Safari that worked so nicely for all my needs. They made it easy to get into and out of the safari vehicles and had checked the accessibility of all the accommodations. Awesome is an understatement!! It was a perfect safari experience.
We wish to specifically extend our thanks and gratitude to Magda Vrijs, Edward Mollel and Mtiro Adam of Flash Safaris and Photography . And Robert Stelling with Fika Safaris who did an excellent communications job regarding the accessibility needs.
Mtiro Adam was our Guide and Driver for the Safari and a wonderful companion. His knowledge of the wildlife and plants was amazing!!! Everywhere we went we saw others who clearly had a high respect for Adam.
My checklist for the safari was to visit Ngorongoro Crater, the Serengeti Plains, the Rift Valley and Olduvai Gorge (the Leakey's paleontology site). They designed a safari which covered all these objectives and many more!!
I would say, without a doubt, if you want to go to Africa and have a World-Class Experience - contact Flash Safaris -- they can make it happen for you!!!
Our best wishes to all -- Gary Elsner and Sarah Gualtieri

Africa's jewel
Henry and his team are very punctual and organised. They picked us from the airport and everything else wen according to plan. We got to see the big 5 animals and even had time to go to Maji ya Chai to a hot spring. The people were very friendly an it was interesting learning about the infamous Masai people. Book with northern Masailand safari for a diverse itinerary.

Much satisifaction.
We really enjoyed the tour of Uganda with baba safaris. I found it was really good value especially as all the meals were included (the food was amazing) and the accomodation was also really good. We particularly loved the kasenyi safari lodge. The highlight was the gorilla trekking, which we did twice! The trek was hard but so worth it to see 2 different gorilla families up close, including babies. Stevie, one of the guides, arranged for us to do a Lion tracking experience one morning in Queen Elizabeth National Park so we were able to track lions off road and saw some tree climbing lions which was another highlight.

Bravo!
Climbing mount Kili was he biggest challenge iv done so far. It was a great experience. Micheal my guide was very knowledgeable and encouraging. Reaching the top was absolutely breathtaking. Thank you Northern Masailand safaris for the challenge.

Best Mini-vaycay
This safari was two weeks of pure bliss. Everything was planned for me. My itinerary was perfect and everything run on schedule. Henry was always easy to reach and communication with my tour guide was seamless. The weather was absolutely perfect even though it rained a little bit. Hopefully will book again with Northern Masailand safaris next year.

On time, on budget, on the bird!
Mwangi wa Gitu, from ConQuest Adventures sacrificed his Christmas weekend to guide my wife and I around the south shore of Lake Elementiata. Mwangi was working his home patch: he knew every song, every call, every flash of color. That end of the lake is lovely, surrounded by good acacia woodland, less developed and less visited than the more well-known Rift Valley soda lakes. We enjoyed both flamingos (dozens, not thousands) and large groups of white pelicans doing their cooperative feeding maneuvers. Life birds for me included Curlew Sandpiper, Purple Grenadier, Little Rock Thrush, Red Fronted Barbet, and Coqui Francolin.
Mwangi also shared great insights into the complex local situation with property owners, cattle herders, and resorts all competing for influence over the few enforcers of conservation regs. He was a delightful companion, an expert naturalist, punctual, and affordable. We look forward to our next outing with him.
