Value for money, great experience
It was our first safari and we loved it. We got to see 2 parks got the most perfect 4x4 and our driver and guide was really awesome! Brian delivered and had a big network so we could see tons of animals.
Our lodge was fine and overall had a great experience.

Nice safari, but could have been better.
We had a nice safari with Professional Safaris in the Ngorongoro Crater & Serengeti National Park and saw many animals. Our guide was nice, but certain things could have been handled better. For example, it was only mentioned to us in the last three hours of the drive back to the airport that there was a fridge in the jeep. It would have been nice to know this at the start so we did not have to drink warm water for three days and this could have prevented us from throwing away things from our lunch bag that we no longer trusted after lying in the heat for half a day. Additionally, the driver kept his radio (through which I assume he communicated with other guides) on very loud even when we were less than 5 meters from an animal and the noise of the radio was disturbing our experience of enjoying the animals in their natural habitat. Another example is that the guide made us walk around an outdoor art gallery for 10 minutes so he would get some kind of lottery ticket.
Also, do not be fooled by the last day 'early morning game drive'. When you are going to (certain parts of) the Serengeti, you need to drive back to the airport for 7 hours. While we did see some animals on the first part of the drive, it was not the same as an actual game drive.

It was worth it
-Recommend guide Dickson
During this journey, I was truly fortunate to have encountered a strong and professional guide—Dickson. If you plan to join this tour, I highly recommend that you specifically request Dickson when communicating with the travel agency. Not only does he excel in his profession, but he is also friendly, knowledgeable, and will provide you with an unforgettable travel experience.
-Wildlife Viewing Experience
Under his guidance, we were fortunate to witness the magnificent spectacle of the Great Migration, one of the most awe-inspiring natural wonders in the world. In addition, we saw African hyenas, lions, leopards, cheetahs, baboons, and various other animals. His deep understanding of these animals' habits allowed him to lead us directly to where they were. Throughout the viewing, he would frequently stop the vehicle to explain the behaviors, lifestyles, and ecological significance of these animals in the African savannah. This not only enriched our experience but also deepened our understanding of African wildlife.
-Extensive Connections
On the journey between Nairobi and Maasai Mara, I witnessed firsthand Dickson's extensive network. With 15 years of experience in the industry, he seemed to have friends and acquaintances everywhere we went. These connections not only made our trip smoother but also provided us with additional information and resources. For example, in a remote area, thanks to his connections, we gained access to places that regular tourists wouldn't be able to visit, allowing us to experience more authentic and unique landscapes.
-Superior Vehicle Comfort and Skills
The Jeep we used for this trip was a new vehicle that Dickson had recently acquired. It was equipped with top-tier suspension systems and premium seats, ensuring maximum comfort throughout the journey. Whether crossing the bumpy savannah or navigating rough mountain roads, we always felt safe and secure. Dickson's driving skills were impeccable; his expertise and precise judgment of road conditions put us at ease on every leg of the trip.
-Genuine and Kind-Hearted Character
As someone interested in psychology, I deeply value qualities like sincerity and kindness. Dickson embodies these virtues and displayed a high level of professionalism throughout the journey. He never pressured us into shopping or participating in extra activities. Instead, he patiently listened to our needs and did his best to accommodate our wishes. On the African savannah, Dickson also introduced many interesting activities, such as interacting with local tribes and visiting ancient cultural sites. He always encouraged us to choose activities based on our own interests rather than following the crowd.
-Extensive Knowledge Sharing
Dickson is not only an excellent guide but also a knowledgeable teacher. He is fluent in English, French, and local languages, which allowed him to communicate seamlessly with people from different backgrounds. Through his explanations, I learned a great deal about African history, culture, and social phenomena. He also shared insights into animal evolution, migration patterns, and ecological balance, giving me a more comprehensive understanding of the African continent.
-Conclusion
For a solo traveler in Africa, finding a reliable friend in a foreign city is both challenging and fortunate. Dickson is not only an outstanding guide but also a trustworthy friend. I am grateful for his care and guidance throughout the journey, making my time in Africa so memorable and enriching. If you're planning a trip to Africa, Dickson is undoubtedly a guide you can trust.

Amazing!
Together with my husband we have booked an 16-day trip towards Zanzibar & Tanzania. With Paradise & Wilderness you receive a perfect combination of beach and safari. The Dream of Zanzibar hotel is an cosy hotel with the most amazing staff. And during the 5 day safari you can find adverture and breath taking nature. The company will take care of everything. Improvements: earlier communication of the planning :-)

Very exclusive experience, very nice and competent staff.
We did a four days, three nights safari in Okavango Delta and Moremi Game reserve.
We booked only one month in advance and the team was very quick to help us organise, very flexible and responsive.
The experience was amazing. The camps were very comfortable, the food was great, the guides and the staff were very experienced and showed us a lot of things.
We faced a car breakdown and the team was quick to send another vehicle and mechanics on the spot.
We could not do the boat tour because of a breakdown as well. This was replaced by a nice game drive.
We were not expecting such a long transfer from Okavango Delta to Moremi game reserve. We would suggest that clients are told in advance about the length of transfers so that they can reflect on whether they want to keep the format of the trip as is or adjust it to have less transfers (e.g. only going to Moremi). It did not impact our experience as such but maybe to have it in mind if you travel with kids for example.
Otherwise it was a very amazing experience. Recommend 100%.

Outstanding
Kuda was our private tour guide for a 10 day trip commencing in Zimbabwe to Botswana. No detail was left unturned. Kuda has exceptional attention to detail. Our 13 year old son bonded quickly with Kuda, and our son never wanted to leave Kuda's side. Kuda is very well educated in all topics and we spent many a hour learning all we could from the wealth of knowledge that he is. He has a great sense of humour too. Kuda is incredible asset to the company. Once we finished our tour with Kuda, we commenced another tour in South Africa to Kruger National Park using a different tour company. It was cramped, felt like we were sardines packed into a van driving lengthy distances, tour operator was more like a driver versus a tour guide. I mention this to highlight just how incredible Kuda made our African holiday into a lifetime unforgetable experience. If I could, I would magically have Kuda educate our son full time as no other schooling is required. Thank you Kuda !

Great communication, amazing tour guide, very competitive price, amazing safari
I found Serengeti Clarity through "Safaris by Ella". I emailed and whatsapped Frank and he was very responsive and easy to communicate with, arranging a phone call to find out our needs. He created a tailored safari based on exactly what we wanted whilst also giving his recommendations. Prices were the best I found after getting quotes from a few Tanzanian companies and some international companies.
Greeted by Frank and our tour guide off the plane in Arusha. Very friendly and welcoming staff, quick and easy to make final payment, introduction and we were off towards Serengeti!
Our guide Kelvin was incredible. He was so kind, generous and went the extra mile every day to make sure we had a good time. He was very knowledgable about flora and fauna and seemed to know every other guide in Serengeti and seemed to be a popular man which we could understand why!
Lunches were amazing and worth paying for luxury in my opinion as our lunches looked a LOT better than other safari groups.
We did 5 days.
Day 1 - Central Serengeti - long drive from Arusha but an amazing evening watching the sun go down with some wine on the savanna
Day 1 accommodation - Serengeti Serena Safari Lodge - 10/10 - great food, amazing staff, amazing location, stunning hotel.
Day 2 - North Serengeti - drive north for a few hours then observing the great migration. tried to watch a river crossing but too many predators (crocs and leopard) prevented the wildebeest crossing.
Day 2 accommodation - Baobab luxury camp Mara River - amazing luxury camping, awesome experience in the middle of nowhere, great food.
Day 3 - Central Serengeti - managed to observe Wildebeest river crossing before driving back for a game drive in central Serengeti and an early finish for some R&R.
Day 3 accommodation - Serengeti Serena Safari Lodge - 10/10 - great food, amazing staff, amazing location, stunning hotel.
Day 4 - Drive to Ngorongoro crater. Amazing day and Kelvin went the extra mile to give us the best experience possible seeing Rhino close up with the lead Crater Ranger after helping out some other tourists who had crashed and were injured.
Day 4 accommodation - Lake Manyara Serena Lodge - Was great, very similar to Serengeti Serena but not as good food but still no complaints at all. Beautiful pool.
Day 5 - Lake Manyara Safari - this was great, had some amazing close ups with Elephant. Then drove to Arusha and stayed in Gran Melia hotel which was STUNNING and great food.
If I were to do the safari again, I would have done days 1, 2, 3 the same. Maybe would have stayed in Ngorongoro crater Serena Lodge after day 4 safari then the next morning finished/driven to Arusha to have an extra day in Zanzibar on the beach or whatever else you want to do. Lake Manyara was a good Elephant experience but otherwise we didn't have any other new experience.
We saw the big 5 and had amazing encounters with all of them which was amazing.
First 2 days we got back quite late to the hotels and felt like we couldn't enjoy the luxury accommodation we had paid for but the last few days Kelvin made sure we had more evening to relax.
In summary, I would highly recommend Serengeti Clarity but would recommend 4 days as I suggested above. Kelvin was an incredible guide and exceeded our expectations, our accommodation was great and would recommend upgrading to luxury and food was very good all week.

Reliable tour operator
We are grateful to Jorge (our tour designer) for scrupulous arrangements for our safari tour. When I've checked our email trail, I found we exchanged more than 70 emails starting from April. Jorge remained responsive, flexible and very supportive during the preparatory period.
During the 7 day tour we visited Masai Mara, Nakuru lake and Amboseli and everything went super smooth. As we were travelling with a 5yo kid, we paid attention to security and safety aspects first of all. And there were no such concerns during our journey at all. We were also lucky to have James as our guide who made our journey so exciting. He, like a magician, pulled some rare finds, literally, "out of his sleeve”. He spotted for us all big five animals and also a number of others which are rare to see. We also enjoyed watching lion and cheetah moms with cubs which was a dream of our youngest traveler. James is a very professional driver and experienced pathfinder. He also made our transfers and game drives less tiresome and more comfortable for our youngest family member.
We are very grateful to the Spirit of Kenya team for such amazing experience!
