We were on a camping safari organised by On The Go Tours in conjunction with Africa Tour Company. We thoroughly enjoyed the Mokoro ride through the blue water of the Delta...it is so relaxing with only the sound of the Mokoro slicing through the water accompanied by the sound of the reeds in the breeze. We saw some grazing zebras far away, beautiful water lilies and lily pads, local wild flowers and some birds. It was sunny and warm and most of us were completely relaxed.
Our campsite was in a remote area with fixed tents and attached open air "en-suite". At night we have a fantastic view of the Milky Way and stars. After dinner, the polos and campsite personnels gave an impromptu concert singing and dancing...the atmosphere is simply wonderful and you feel you are really experiencing the real Africa.
We had a guided walk in the evening through the Delta and were given a first hand education on the local flora and their medicinal benefits...the climax that evening is to view the sunset out in the water in the mokoro and the next morning to see the sunrise.

Being a lover for wild animals and nature in general my experience was breathtaking,we were able to see the big 5,the ugly 5 were also in the reserve including the marabou stork, certain indigenous trees were in the vicinity too.The tented camps were great and our driver/guide was very knowledgeable.though the wildebeests migration was over we were able to see one of the points where this happens on sand river where there were many hippos and crocodiles.

Ngorongoro to see Rhino. We also saw different wildlife at vast dry land / meadow. It's on our way back to Kilimanjaro airport after Serengeti

There're plenty of wildlife and truly huge National Park. Our driver is also guide, who is very knowledgeable. The way it works is, they call each other once they discover something, e.g. lions about to hunt. My friend mentioned it should be paved road, well, I don't think so. The dirt road keep the harmony of the wild. There're plenty and different animals to look at. We visit Serengeti after Kilimanjaro climb. Couple things I like to advice other visitors. 1) sun protection (common sense) 2) we bring mask as October is dry season, very dusty 3) avoid blue/black color clothing as there're flies like to land on such color clothing, the bite will make you itchy. It's not migration season yet. But it is lion mating season as pregnancy is 11 months and new cub will be burned September next year which will give them 1-2 months dry season time to grow strong and healthy. We also stay in tent which is different experience in comparing with lodge, strongly recommend. The food is delicious and unlimited. I definitely will come back again during migration season.

4 stars for bush vibe, because there are a lot of other vehicles grouped around animals when sighted, the word is passed around to other tour groups. However, not as bad as Disneyland!

An amazing country

Loved everything about the trip with the following exceptions..........Too many guide changes. Wanted Eric start to finish, the others were limited in their communication and social skills............Some days were just to much driving, at least 2 were just travel days only...........Be honest about the bucket showers in your description of certain facilities and also, if I were a birder, I would have been very disappointed that there were no Flamingo's, as you prominently display in your advertising. These reasons are why I gave an overall 4 Star rating instead of 5....... I would also like to note that I was happy to give my business to Kenyan and Tanzanian business owners, as opposed to safari companies owned outside of Africa.
