The experience has been more than perfect. From the taxi that picked us up at the airport to the the last guy Daniel who gave us the last instructions. We saw all animals in the list. The big five!!! Lewis, the tour guide was a very experiences driver and knew all animals and the tanzania history. The food and the hotels were impressive. I would hightly recommend it and probably we will repeat it. Thanks Suricata Safari. If 10 stars exsited i would put them.

Wraparound service and attention to our unique requests made a great experience even better.
Nothing could have prepared us for the awesome experience of our Sun Safaris safari - our adventure exceeded all of our expectations. We expected to see Elephants, Giraffes, Zebras, Hippos, Wildebeest (which we were able to observe in a migration river crossing as the Crocodiles waited downstream for any unlucky Wildebeest swept off its feet by the current), Impala, Antelope, monkeys, baboons, the Big Cats, Hyenas, Jackals, Vultures and Storks and we were not disappointed; however as we catalogued all of the wildlife we were able observe up-close, the scores of creatures that filled our notebook far exceeded our expectations.
When we were contemplating an African Safari, accounts of friends (one of whom strongly recommended Sun Safaris) built a romantic vision of safari in Africa and ours did not disappoint. What was not so clear from safari descriptions, however, was the complexity and potential stress in planning this undertaking, including all of the bewildering choices to be made including accommodations at different lodgings in the bush, the logistics complexities of arranging multiple bush flights to a series of obscure, dirt-runway airstrips, pickup and transport to and from airstrips, lodges and hotels, as well as advice on how to prepare, what to bring, and support for obtaining travel Visas for Tanzania and Kenya, and guidance on "do's & don'ts" to smooth our experience in a unique cultural setting far from our everyday experience in the US. Not only did Sun Safaris make great arrangements at each point in our Safari that met our mid-range price point; they did so while arranging an itinerary that exposed us to the broadest range of environments and wildlife - a priority of ours. And they did so in a manner that, as we began to understand the overwhelming nature of the logistics challenges, was stress-free (for us) and successful inasmuch as being "strangers in a strange land" the Sun Safaris end-to-end transportation arrangements made for stress-free travel within Kenya and Tanzania, all wrapped up in Sun Safaris very complete customized on-line travel guide for our unique trip including all of the airline reservations to and from Africa.
Sun Safaris also went well beyond our safari arrangements, arranging for travel to and from a girls' school in Tanzania to which we contribute, and, after I foolishly left my glasses at the hotel in Nairobi prior to departure back to the US, arranged for them to be retrieved from the Hotel and returned to me. We highly recommend Sun Safaris. They would be our hands-down choice for any return trip to Africa. They saved us stress and headaches whilst ensuring the most awesome experience we could imagine.

Simply the best
One of if not the best experience of my life. Everything was perfect for us, we had a great time in the Serengeti and in the Ngorongoro creater. The organisation was impeccable, everything was great from the games to the food to the people of Suricata on the trip with us.

Ti be honest we couldn’t believe the value of this tour compared to others, but after reading reviews we decided to book.
It was a trip of a lifetime. The communication from start of booking was great, emails responded to quickly. Nothing was too much trouble. Transfers from the hotel, hotel before and after.
Now the safari, Baraka was our guide and he was awesome! He knew all about the animals and how to spot them, we saw the big 5 and many more!
Salim was our chef, what a great guy! His food was incredible.

Excellent experience, would highly recommend to anyone
I went on the 3 day safari with Serengeti African Tours and they provided me with an excellent trip. My guide Grayson delivered a very informative safari, answering any questions in detail and was very hospitable. We managed to see all of the big 5 which completed the trip. Our chef Pesco cooked a tasty breakfast, lunch and dinner which was more than sufficient. Both guide and cook were extremely helpful and kind which made the trip unforgettable.

Perfect Communication, Tour Guide, Accommodations, and Parks!
Before we even left Germany, we were in frequent contact with Winnie to organize our safari. She responded incredibly quickly and attentively – we've never experienced this level of service before! Even during the trip, she made sure everything was running smoothly and that we were happy.
Our guide, Michael, was an absolute highlight! We’d describe him as a walking Wikipedia of nature, wildlife, and Tanzanian culture, all combined with a fantastic sense of humor. Whether on safari or engaging in fun and insightful conversations over lunch or dinner, we had an absolut amazing time with him!
As for the parks, we visited both Nyerere and Mikumi. They were completely different but breathtaking in their own unique ways! We highly recommend visiting both, and we were lucky enough to see lions, a leopard, elephants, and many other animals.
The accommodations were excellent! At Mloka Safari Lodge, the service and hospitality were outstanding, and at Camp Bastian, the architecture of the lodge was truly one of a kind.
We would absolutely travel with Kihindo and Michael again!

Excellent service and they made the safari such a fabulous experience
The whole safari experience was magical…From landing on the air strip at Selous to eating lunch with giraffes and hippos walking by. Our guide was named Innocent and he did everything he could to make our safari the best. He was so good at spotting different animals and we saw lots of them. The hotel and staff were fantastic along with the food. The accommodation was spotless and would highly recommend.
We loved everything about this trip and cannot recommend it highly enough. A tip for future travelers is to take some food with you for the first day as it’s a long day from resort in Zanzibar to lunchtime, I packed some cereal bars which worked well. But I have to say the lunch that was provided on safari was very good and tasty.

Amazing!!
My friend and I decided last minute to plan a safari trip to South Africa (by last minute we planned it in two weeks). I northern of us had been to Africa or on a safari so we were really unsure. After inquiring many companies, I got an immediate response from Wayne who was awesome. Not only did he get up a better place to stay but he was always responsive, gave explicit detailed directions and even when our plans changed last minute did his best to rebook and answer questions. I would highly recommend for anyone booking their first safari. Wayne and staff took all the pressure and anxiety out of planning/booking.
