This 3-day guided tour of Lalibela was absolutely amazing! Everything was taken care of—transport, accommodation, meals, and entrance fees—so I could just enjoy the experience.
The highlight for me was visiting Bet Giyorgis (Saint George Church), the iconic cross-shaped church carved into the rock—it was even more breathtaking in person! The guide was fantastic—so knowledgeable and kind—and made sure I truly experienced Lalibela like a local. Walking through the village, meeting the people, and seeing daily life added so much to the trip.

We were immersed in a magnificent adventure novel.
We arrived at Kilimanjaro airport in the evening. A guide greeted us and the adventure was about to begin. As we moved towards the unknown, this unknown became more mysterious. The road was getting smaller, we had left the asphalt for a while. We almost felt lost. In fact, we hoped we wouldn't get lost.
The vehicle stopped and the guide announced to us that we had arrived. A local group emerged from the darkness of the night, offered to take our suitcases and led us through the ink-colored night.
We were made to eat and went to our cabins for the night.
The next day, going outside, I will never forget this view of Kilimanjaro which was there in front of me in this magnificent blue sky. We were in the country of the Maassai. It was only the beginning.
What followed was a crescendo of adventures that our guide Said took us through through the fauna, flora, geography, history and people of Tanzania. Thank you Said for the love of your country that you knew how to transmit to us.

Great experience
Really great tour operator. I ended up booking a second safari with them as I liked the experience so much. They are quick in communication, with any small issue I had. A example was that we were being told initially that we would not be dropped off at the hostel after the tour, but after contacting them this was resolved straight away. Loved the two safaris I did with them, the maasai Mara shared safari plus the amboseli and tsavo east were all unforgettable experiences. Would book again with them!

A truly wonderful experience with Uro Adventure & Gilbert
Our 3-night safari in Southern Serengeti (Ndutu Area) and Ngorongoro Crater with Uro Adventure & Safaris and their guide Gilbert was amazing! From start to finish, the experience exceeded all our expectations. The planning was seamless, and the communication with the team, especially Tom, was fantastic—everything was arranged down to the last detail and we were always able to ask questions.
The highlight of our safari was our guide, Gilbert. He was simply exceptional. Not only did he have an extensive knowledge of the wildlife and the landscapes, but his passion for the animals and their habitats was obvious. He went above and beyond to make sure we had the best possible experience. Gilbert was always patient, ensuring we had the perfect view for photos and making sure we didn't miss any of the incredible wildlife moments. His expertise and warm personality truly made our safari memorable.
We also appreciated the thoughtful touches provided by Uro Adventure & Safaris, including the comfortable accommodation at Sero Tented Camp and delicious meals in between the adventures.
