High Marks
5/5

Africa Odyssey has arranged 3 safaris for me and everything has been flawless. In 2012, AO arranged a family trip for 13 of us to the Serengeti and the Selous. In 2013, AO arranged a complex trip for my wife and me which included the gorillas in the Virungas, and the seldom visited Tanzania parks - Katavi, Mahale Mountains (for the chimps) and Ruaha. In August 2015, AO did a trip for another couple and us which included Botswana, Vic Falls, Zambia (S Luangwa) and Cape Town. I like the fact that AO does not push package tours, but helps you arrange where you want to you and how long your stays are. Everything can be customized and that's a requirement for me. All arrangements AO has made for me have been flawless and I recommend AO to anyone I know who wants to visit East or Southern Africa.

Some additions to my earlier review
4/5

In my earlier review I forgot to mention our early morning bush walk guide Rex.. He was absolutely great.. Experienced, knowledgable and full of fun to be with...another point though my typing mistake...it was 250 rand extra and not 25 for the entry fee in the Balule gate...

Mafia Island for whale shark safari
5/5

All was good - our agent was receptive to our requirements and recommended a simple but very comfortable hotel, Meremeta Lodge. We were well looked after, and our whale shark safari was well organised. There were bikes we could use to go to the nearby beach, and after Nairobi, it was a real pleasure to be able to walk safely. The food was good. I would recommend our experience to anyone interested in whale shark watching

We think that what you organiced about our safari was that we hoped to get
5/5

We find that the 10 days together with our guide Jimmy from Wilderness Safaris was so well organiced. The tent camps in Kulala and Damara Land was so exiting to stay in and the staff in the camps treated us so well with theirs lovely meals out in the wilderness. Our guide Jimmy was so informative about Namibias biology, geology, historie, and the fight for independence And we saw a lot. The stay in Hansa Hotel was also very fine and a nice big contrast to the camps. Andersons camp , Ongava Game Park and Etosha was very fine too, only 1 day to short we think. 11 days would have been better then we could have enjoyed the area around the camp better.

Fantastic safari
5/5

We had an amazing time on our safari booked with Roho Ya Chui. It was so convenient to have the option to fly into Skukuza airport and arrive straight into Kruger. Laughing Waters lodge where we stayed was lovely - Gavin and Carol were so hospitable and the food was delicious. The itinerary for the safari was very good - 4 Kruger drives, the Panorama Route and a nighttime game drive in Sabi Sands. The drive in Sabi Sands was magical and we really appreciated being able to do it without having to stay in a private game reserve. Our dealings with Roho Ya Chui were very good - Ute was very helpful and very responsive. Overall a fantastic experience.

Honeymoon - Tanzania and Zanzibar
5/5

African Odyssey were great at coming back to us with a suggested itinerary within our budget that matched everything we wanted to get out of our trip...a bit of adventure, a bit of luxury and bit of beach chill out time. All the lodges they recommended were excellent and the trip went without a hitch including all the internal flights which they coordinated for us. When we had issues with a flight time being changed at last minute by the airline company they had sorted out putting us on a different connecting flight within minutes. Really recommend them for their professional, friendly and personal service.

Another great trip with Africa Odyssey
5/5

This was a trip to Rwanda and Tanzania and was the fifth time we have used Africa Odyssey. From initial planning through to completion of the trip they are never less than excellent. The guys really know their lodges and take the time to listen and understand what you are looking for from the trip. We wouldn't touch anyone else; in fact, we're currently planning our next trip with Africa Odyssey now.
