We had an amazing experience in Tanzania with our guide Ephraim
5/5

We wanted to share we had the most wonderful and magical trip in Tanzania. We thought South Africa with Cape Town and Kruger park was special but the Serengeti with Ephraim as our guide was moving and breath taking as was Zanzibar as an ending to our travels. Everyone should be so lucky to experience Serengeti once in their lifetime. Thank you all so much for your help and arrangements. Every place we stayed was perfect and will give good reviews in trip advisor

A holiday to remember, a truly memorable experience
5/5

Our 13 days trip to Kenya was our first experience in Africa, Kenya and on Safari. As we didn’t know what to expect we did research and found Amazing Memories Safaris to be the best choice for our holiday (based on client reviews, proposed programs, flexibility in adjusting proposed programs based on our requirements and general level of professionalism).

We did our trip in September 2016

Anne was really helpful in configuring our holiday. We ended up with a program making it possible to visit all top rated parks in Kenya spanning over 13 days. During our trip we visited Tsavo West, Amboseli, Aberdare, Samburu, Lake Naivasha, Nakuru and Maasai Mara. On paper this looks like a great trip, actually doing the trip is an experience of a lifetime.

A big part of this experience is dependent on the guide you get. Joseph, our guide for the 13 days, was amazing (which is important as you spent a lot of time in a car with this person). He did everything he could to make us comfortable, feel safe and make sure we got the most out of this experience. The fact that he knows Kenya, is a good driver and knows the parks, animal behavior and movement was perfect. We managed to see all of the big 5 (including both white and black rhino’s), cheetah’s hunt (2 times), pride of lions hunt, wildebeest crossing of the Mara (and a crocodile just missing the opportunity to grab one) and an Impala being born.

Tips: As a starting photographer I didn’t take a lens cleaning kit, this is a must due to the high amount of dust. Take warm clothes, it cools down in the evening. Make sure you have the local currency (Schilling), preferably in small denominators, to tip all the people that help you in the lodges.

Travel tip: Most of the main roads in Kenya are fine (decent tarmac), however to reach the parks you will have to leave them, which means you will find yourself on dirt roads. Dirt roads greatly increase travel-time, however we took this in account when configuring our program (we left out 2 parks and decided to spent more time at others (Samburu and Maasai Mara were our choices) to avoid driving every day). The only really bad (and long…..) dirt road was on our way to Maasai Mara, but…. it is all worth it when you get there.

All in all probably our best and most special trip ever and, on a sad note, it made us realize that our kids are probably not able to see the same animals in 20 or 30 years.

Very good safari
4/5

Safari in Masai Mara is once in a lifetime experience. It's amazing to be that close to nature and observe the greatness of the circle of life. Bushtroop offered us a great organization for the 3 days that we had there, a comfortable car and excellent accommodation as well. Our driver Joseph had spent more than 15 years in the Kenyan national parks and was really competent to answer all of our questions and give us more information about the animals. He was very kind and organized our time perfectly. Besides the animals, visiting a Masai village is a must-do.
Online communication with Jacqueline was very good, we made the payments over a secure website and overall we didn't have any problems.
The transfer from Niarobi to Masai Mara is a bit long- 7 hours so for more comfort you might consider flying

Safari experience of a lifetime!
5/5

Our Tanzania trip with locally owned and operated Ecological Wilderness Adventures was beyond expectations. The family we were with had used them four years ago and we understand why they wanted to use them again. Brian, Amiri and the team were wonderful guides. They were honest, flexible, fun, and considerate of young children (including dietary needs/wants...they have families themselves). The accommodations were great, especially at the camps in the Serengeti. EWA bring maturity and a respect for the wildlife and environment that can only be acquired by a lifetime of firsthand experience. We were so impressed with how extremely knowledgeable they were about animal, plant, and bird life. We saw everything and then some. We visited four areas, North and Central Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater and Tarangire National Park. All not to be missed. We highly recommend them. You won't be disappointed.

A Wholly Professional Service from Start to End
5/5

Everything from the initial email contact to dropping us back to the airport after our safari was dealt with in a 100% professional and friendly manner. They helped at every stage to ensure we had the very best safari experience from greeting us at the airport, booking us in at all the camps and lodges, to the excellent driver guide for whom nothing was too much bother!

This was our fourth safari with Classic Journeys Africa and it is impossible to recommend them too highly for their fast and efficient service at all times, and I can’t wait for our next safari!

An amazing experience!
5/5

We really enjoyed our first safari with Flash! From the organization to the actual safari, everything was perfect. We saw plenty of animals, our guide was always keen on answering all our questions, the lunch box was always very good and we stayed in very nice places to sleep.

I would definitely recommend Flash, it's definitely worth the price!

7-Day Trek Up Kilimanjaro
5/5

I found Adventure Africa a great company to deal with, their communication and advice was first class leading up to the Trek. Dickson (Owner of the company) came with us on the transfer from Nairobi to Moshi and spent the evening with us which was re-assuring. Our guides and porters whilst on the mountain were very helpful, they spoke great English and made the trek as comfortable as possible and joined in with the banter. The food whilst on the trek surprisingly very good indeed - far better than we were expecting. All transfers were on time and there were no hidden charges. The whole experience was amazing and our group was completely satisfied and have some wonderful memories. I would have no hesitation in recommending Adventure Africa

An incredible experience!
5/5

Sunny Safari offers outstanding service. From our very first emails, Jessica answered all of our many questions diligently, precisely and very patiently. We already had a precise itinerary we wanted to follow and they were completely open to modify their usual route.

As for our guide, Mr David Buyamba, he had it all: kind, patient, polite, hard-working, with eyes like a hawk and a sixth sense allowing him to spot all the species on your list. He was particularly good at relying on his own senses - and not on the radio - to find animals, thus giving us many one-on-one moments with our favourite animals. For instance, the first time we saw lions - two brothers in their prime - we were alone with them for at least 20 minutes, giving us all the time in the world to take pictures and observe. We also had a very special encounter with a cheetah and her two cubs eating a gazelle and once again, thanks to David’s eyes, we managed to be alone for perhaps more than an hour.

David was a true encyclopedia, even considering our pre-existing knowledge of Tanzania’s fauna, and his love for all wildlife was inspiring. He managed to be very discreet, yet always there when we needed him. He also taught us the basics of Swahili and made very interesting observations on the cultures of Tanzania.
The car itself was in very good condition and we did not have a single incident. It was very clean and David drove very carefully.

We also appreciated the fact that David picked us up when we arrived in Arusha and took us to our hotel, just like he did at the end of our trip. Sunny Safari works really hard to make your trip as comfortable as it can be. All in all, all of our high expectations were all met. Sunny Safaris did all they could to make our trip a once-in-a-lifetime experience and they deserve a perfect score on all grounds.
