Top notch service with Restoration Safaris
This was our second safari with Restoration Safaris. I didn't think it was possible to experience something as meaningful and life-changing as our first time, but I was wrong. Bariki, our guide, is not only knowledgeable about the animals, environment, resources and people of Tanzania, but he is also a blast to hang out with. His commentary was so informative and educational, but what stands out for me is his passion about the wildlife and his sense of humor! We saw it all!! He made this second experience just as unforgettable! He also has a knack for spotting animals when no one else can see them and getting us access for the best photo opportunities.
His wife, Mourine, handled all the details of our booking and continued communication with us to ensure we had all the proper information. All accommodations in the various parks were amazing, (we chose tented camps) and everyday we felt like we had the most private, pampered safari, even though their prices are of excellent value.
I felt so touched by their service and attention that I consider Bariki and Mourine as part of our family now. I highly recommend Restoration Safaris if you want the best experience!!

Great safari, but sometimes a bit wet.
We were 6 people on a 4 day safari. We had a great guide and a great chef who were very helpful. We had a very good time on the gamerides and saw all the animals we had wanted to as well as the great migration. The only downside was that the camping equipment wasn't fully capable of handling the rainy season, so we had 1-2 wet nights. Our guide and chef were very helpful when this happened, but I still think it would be a good idea to upgrade the camping equipment to avoid this in the future.

Unique experience in South Africa

Very good value for money
We went to Masai Mara for three days and thoroughly enjoyed it. Our guides were friendly and reliable. They had a lot of knowledge about the animals and we saw many animals.
The equipment was ok, when the van had a problem we were transferred to Nairobi by a rented minibus.
We felt safe at all times. We would always use them again.

Going to Mount Kenya
Perfect communication, they take the responsibility of the trip as if it is there own trip. Especially the young lady Celestine that works with them prior to the trip she was really keen on tailoring and adjusting the plan according to my needs. Then following up throughout, and professionally handling and sorting out a challenge that I faced ensuring the best experience and that everything went smooth.

Tailormade to our expectations
My wife and I had an amazing trip to Tanzania/Zanzibar much thanks to the well organized Tanzania Explorer team.
This trip was our first trip together to Africa in which had many requests and a lot of questions!
Key points for us was to get as close as possible to the Tanzanian wild life, experience the white sandy beach of Zanzibar, introduction to the melting pot of the Tanzanian culture and special history and offcourse at the same time getting most value out of our tight budget!
And I must say that we were really impressed of the time, effort and the service that the Tanzania Explorer team provided in order to tailor make our trip exactly and at times above our expectations! All team members that we met throughout the trip had a lot of local knowledge and in addition the very service minded dedication made us feel perfectly safe and as a consequence the ultimate vacation experience!
As a note, we had already been in touch with many of the other travel agents and they seemed to be good however the Tanzanian Explorer Team showed us dedication, patience (as really listening to our various requests) and they really went out of their way to try and meet all our requests and importantly they immediately made us feel that no special requests or thoughts were too strange or too difficult.
We really felt that it was not all about the money either...we really felt that the trip was all about us and our satisfaction were their prime goal!

Beautiful wedding anniversary
Safari Lifestyles organized our 10th wedding anniversary in the Kalahari and the Okavango Delta. We stayed at beautiful lodges where the service was truly lovely.
Even though it was a special occasion we still went out on every game drive and we were lucky that it did not rain once. One time we were the only guests out on the vehicle and had a special dinner by ourselves right out in to the wilds... just beautiful

Fantastic game sightings and best customer service ever
We had a fantastic trip.
Vic falls was very relaxing and Ilana was really comfortable.
Our guide in Chobe was so much fun and the Bakwena lodge was the friendliest staff we ever met.
The game sightings in Okavango were amazing. We saw all we wanted to see. (leopard and a cub).
All in all one of our best trips ever, so thank you again for the great advice.
