Excellent service, exceeded expectations, definitely using them again
The private tour was perfect. From the pickup, to the game drive where everyone was friendly and offered a lot of information, to the overnight stay, the boat safari...it was a very enjoyable two days. This was a budget tour but it exceeded expectations. This will definitely have to be redone in the future.

A very good reliable gentleman, kind and understanding w
Unforgettable Family Safari Experience with Heart of Africa Safari Tours.
Our family Safari with Heart of Africa Safari Tours was truly the adventure of a lifetime! From the moment we arrived, everything was perfectly organized and full of authentic, once-in-a-lifetime experiences. We were lucky enough to see all of the Big Five—a dream come true for all of us, especially the kids!
One of the most meaningful parts of our journey was visiting the Heart of Africa Foundation Center. Meeting the girls and learning about the amazing work being done there was deeply inspiring. It added such a powerful and personal touch to our trip, and reminded us of the beauty of giving back.
We also had the chance to visit a Maasai Boma, and it was one of the most fascinating cultural experiences we’ve ever had. The warmth of the community, the traditions, the dancing, and the storytelling made us feel truly connected to the heart of Tanzania.
If you’re looking for a safari that combines incredible wildlife, rich culture, and a chance to make a positive impact, Heart of Africa Safari Tours is the way to go. We came as tourists, but left feeling like part of a bigger family.
Thank you for this unforgettable journey—we’ll treasure these memories forever.

Fantastic safari!
We had a fantastic safari with Kubwa Five! Our safari took us to Kibale to see the chimpanzees, Queen Elizabeth National Park and then to Bwindi to see the gorillas. Smith, our guide, was incredibly friendly and welcoming. We had lots of laughs together! I also really appreciated how Kubwa Five went above and beyond to ensure our safari went smoothly. We had an action-packed day filled with chimpanzee trekking and then a boat safari on the Kazinga Channel. I wanted to check-in to my hotel in Queen Elizabeth before the boat safari (we were meant to go on the boat first) and they were happy to accommodate me. But because of my request, we actually ended up missing the boat. Kubwa Five told me it was no problem and promptly arranged another boat on the spot which I really appreciated. So the safari went incredibly smoothly. The highlight had to be seeing the mountain gorillas. Nothing quite prepares you for seeing these magnificent animals!

Michele provided an exceptional safari experience, accommodating our needs and schedule perfectly.
I cannot recommend this operator highly enough. From the very beginning, Michele was extremely accommodating to our needs, ensuring that the program was tailored perfectly to our schedule and wishes. This personalized approach made our safari experience truly unforgettable.
The richness of background materials provided enhanced our understanding and enjoyment of the tour. We were well-informed about the places we would visit, transportation, and lodging.
Moreover, Michele was always within reach to clarify any questions or concerns we had. This level of accessibility and responsiveness made us feel supported and confident throughout the tour.

Exceptional Safari Experience
The team at Sereland were amazing from the very first day of contacting them. They were professional at every stage. Mike was swift at providing quotes and helping with Visa arrangements. Payment was not an issue for Mike. Always about service first. He was able to consider and implement our unique travel arrangements across multiple locations until we got to Arusha. Upon arrival at Arusha he and his driver Omar were there in time to meet us and took us to the first reserve Tarangire. Omar was very professional with his driving. Considering the right speed and timing to get us to the locations. Omar left the best experience for the last, our trip on the second day to Ngorongoro park was the best tourist experience I’ve had so far. All the animals were within sight. We saw 4 of the big 5 within the 3 hours we spend at the Crater. Thank you Mike and Omar for this great experience.

A safari company and our guide provided a first class experience that exceeded our expectations.
Having retired a few years ago, I have been traveling while I still can.
So I wanted to go on Safari, but where to begin?
So I started googling and got quotes of $20,000, then $30,000 for one week, that’s ridiculous!
Then I found this website, Safari Bookings, great site comparing all the tour operators.
In the top five was “Lion King Adventures”, after reviewing all of their tour offerings,
I requested a quote on a custom package, it came back under $8,000
Really! Everything I want for less than half the well know advertisers.
The whole booking process went smoothly, with plenty of emails covering all of the details.
The transfer driver picked us up at the airport as promised.
The first night hotel was 5 star with breakfast served overlooking the beautiful grounds.
Our guide Oswald (Ozzie) was waiting at the door first thing in the morning.
He gave us an introduction on what would happened over the next week.
The SUV (Bogo) we would be using, a new Toyota Land Cruiser, customized with a refrigerator filled with ice cold water bottles, we used a whole case. Dual fuel tanks and dual spare tires. Power strip for charging my cameras. Plenty of seating for six and a center aisle for standing and looking out the pop up top, full 360 viewing for tracking moving animals. While on safari you spend all day (8-10 hrs.) in the SUV transferring between parks and crawling over rough dirt roads looking for the next animal sighting. Ozzie always greeted us warmly each morning, always answered my many questions, always offered helping assistance, It was a joy to be in his care. You want your guide to be personable.
He always drove safely, we were passed by other drivers going too fast for conditions, and then to find them broke down in the middle of the road later. We passed many blown tires, broken suspensions and a truck with both front tires hanging at opposite angles, sheared off tie rods.
Safari means going into the vast remote wilderness, looking for animals in their home environment.
Thus, there is no power lines, no cell towers, no pavement, no street signs, no gps, no maps.
The ONLY modern thing out there is gravel on the main roads, the majority of roads are just dirt tracks wondering through the hundreds of miles of vastness . Ozzie never got lost, never consultant a map, never asked for directions.
He was stopped several times to help out lost guides with concerned guests in the back .
The only way to get into the parks are with a local licensed guide driving a 4-wheel drive. They all have 2way radios.
When someone finds a rare sighting, the word gets out and soon a dozen trucks show up joggling for the best viewing, then moving out of the way for the next to get a great view. NO tour busses belching fumes, no stupid tourist driving rental cars.
Just dedicated professional guides filled with answers on the details of every animal.
Every day included a hot picnic lunch on a table cloth no less.
Ozzie had a picnic basket with two stainless steel canisters, real pottery plates and real metal cutlery.
The food was freshly prepared by the hotel each night, included rice/pasta, chicken and/or beef, vegetables.
While other safari guides provided a box lunch, cold sandwich, chips, and a juice box.
Do I regret going with Lion King, NO.
Would I do it again, YES.
Would I cut corners to save a few dollars, NO
Don’t over pay a huge sales commission to the well-known resale brokers.
Quality did not cost more, just go with the best! Lion King Adventures.
