Carson was friendly, knowledgeable and very patient.
5/5

Carson, our tour guide was fantastic. There only 3 of us on this full day tour of the Apartheid Museum, Soweto, Mandela House and Hector Pieterson Museum. All of these stops, including a lunch in Soweto, were very worthwhile. It’s so important for everyone to learn about the South African history and this tour covered a lot. There was lighthearted humor and meaningful facts. Highly recommend.

Golden Rwanda organized a gorilla trek for us from Kigali. They were very responsive and professional, and accommodating to our requests. They were a great company to work with.

Life-Changing Solo Safari & Gorilla Trekking Trip
5/5

I recently returned from a 5-day safari and gorilla trekking adventure in Uganda with Wagatil Safaris, and I can confidently say it was one of the most unforgettable experiences of my life.

As a solo traveler, I felt completely safe and well cared for throughout the journey. From the very beginning, the booking and customization process was seamless, thanks to the incredible support from Martin. He was responsive, accommodating, and made sure every detail matched what I envisioned for my trip.

My guide, Eddie, was outstanding—deeply knowledgeable, kind, and passionate about Uganda’s wildlife and culture. His presence made the entire experience feel welcoming and insightful.

The trip was a perfect blend of adventure and comfort. Gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest was beyond magical. I had the privilege of tracking the Tindatine family—an awe-inspiring encounter that left me speechless. The forest trek itself was incredibly rewarding, surrounded by stunning, untouched nature.

The accommodations were thoughtfully selected: Irungu Forest Safari Lodge, Bweza Gorilla Lodge, and Hyena Hill Lodge each offered a cozy, immersive experience close to nature. The staff were welcoming, and every stay felt peaceful and comfortable.

Meals throughout were delicious and authentic, offering a true taste of Ugandan cuisine.

Wagatil Safaris offers many flexible options to tailor your trip exactly as you need. Their professionalism, warmth, and attention to detail truly make them stand out.

If you’re considering a trip to Uganda—especially as a solo traveler—I wholeheartedly recommend Wagatil Safaris. I’m already dreaming of returning

My wife and I, aged 75, went to Kadizora Camp in the Delta and then to Ghoha Hills Savuti Lodge in Chobe National Park, as arranged by Sian Edwards of Off2Africa travel. The trip was pricy but worth it. Both stays were excellent - plenty of animals and scenery, explained in detail by qualified guides. We got not only to see animals, but understand how they lead their lives and the ecosystem within which they exist.
Though we saw only Maun, the airport city, to have an idea of the rest of Botswana, we came away with a very positive feeling about the country. The English of all we met was impeccable, and things worked well (with the exception of Air Botswana, which changed our flight time without notice). Off2Africa was very helpful in making our choices, which were good ones. If I had it to do over again, I would try to see a bit more of the water life of the Delta, which is fascinating.

Great trip and best views
5/5

Our trek up Mount Longonot was challenging but highly rewarding. Benson was an excellent guide, leading us through the steep climb to the crater’s edge. The views of the Rift Valley were breathtaking, and it was an unforgettable experience for our family. A great trip for those who enjoy combining hiking with safari!
