The tour was excellent with the price being cheaper than others we considered. Communication was sporadic at times but, and it’s a big but, ALL issues and adaptations to the trip were taking into consideration and solutions were always found.
We had an extremely packed itinerary over the space of 6 days! (From diving in Zanzibar to safaris in the Serengeti and Ngorongoro crater). All was organised professionally, with pick ups/drop offs and hotels etc exactly how we’d expected. The only downside was we needed a holiday to get over this one!

Very friendly and responsible people, who know very well how to show you the best of Tanzania.
We were very happy to have Gilbert as our guide. He is responsible, funny and knows very well the savanna. We travelled around Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro. The last day we went to lake Nathron and a waterfall going in it. We swam in the waterfall. It was a great adventure.
Destiny Explorer are reliable company and there was nothing we were worried about.

Absolutely unbelievable
The safari tour is definitely worth it. For the money there is a rich program. Starting with a friendly guide who responds individually to the wishes and needs. We saw many animals on the tour and his stories were interesting, exciting and informative

Fantastic service, great experience
Life and Lamb Senior are amazing. Had a great time with these incredible guides. Great value for money, fantastic communication, all of the vehicle we were in are nice and new and in good condition. The hotel is new, quiet and comfortable. I would recommend this tour to anyone

Once in a lifetime experience
Lambs was an excellent guide, he picked us up from the hotel bright and early. During the tour and sightings, he would share facts about the animals. He also did his best in taking us to see the big 5s.

Incredible - could not be faulted
It’s difficult to know where to start. What an incredible safari we are having, before going on to Zanzibar tomorrow.
The accommodation has been outstanding - from the beautiful Gran Melia in Arusha through to sitting watching wildebeest next to a lodge with a glass of wine, in the middle of the Serengeti. We felt very spoiled by the experience and by the very friendly staff.
Then the safari… we have seen a huge number of animals, including all the Big 5, thanks to our knowledgeable and experienced guide, Gama. Lions, hippos, giraffes, 2 black rhino, hyenas… the list goes on.
Gama has been incredible. It feels like we had “the safari boss” with us all week - not only is he very knowledgeable and welcoming, but he has been determined to give us the best experience possible. The safari could never have been so outstanding without him in charge.

Outstanding
For our first time in Africa, I was naturally nervous about what to expect. However from the moment we were picked up from the airport to sitting in our final lodge (before going to Zanzibar tomorrow) every second has been nothing short of incredible. All the accommodation has been outstanding and the food amazing. The hospitality has been second to none.
Dealing with the Lion King team (Jovitha and Florida) made booking the trip seamless. Our guide, Gama, has been fantastic. His sense of humour, knowledge, patience while we watch the animals and all round good company has made us enjoy the experience even more. He knows all the best spots to see the animals (better than other tour companies we saw) sharing his knowledge and answering all our questions. Thank you so much Lion King for the trip of a lifetime.
