We had a great experience with Hyrax Safaris. Irene was our coordinator and she did a great job in communicating swiftly and efficiently.
Our guide was Antony - he was punctual, kind and patient. He did a good job with the game drives. We stayed at the Ashnil Camp. The camp was very impressive with well equipped and comfortable tents, amazing food (including Indian options) and extremely friendly and kind staff. Thank you Irene and Antony - our overall experience at Maasai Mara was very memorable. I would definitely recommend going with Hyrax Safaris.

Epic trip of a lifetime
The whole experience was amazing from start to finish. Matt was super helpful and the accommodation and tours were out of this world. We had been wanting to do Safari in RSA for some time and this trip did not disappoint! We are a family of four (2 x kids 11 and 14) and everyone had the time of their life. We would highly recommend!

Reliable, good price and well organized
Likely the guide is very important for your experience. We went with Regi and had such a great time! Regi is calm and nice and can tell you some interesting things about Tanzania even in German! We felt very safe, we had a good mixture of tented camps and luxurious resorts for a great experience!
Would definitely recommend the operator and a tour with Regi!

The budget tour was excellent value and the accomodation was far better than I expected.

They are the best!
África big Cats safari was an amazing choice . From the begining the information, booking process and attention given to us was great. When we were already in Tanzanie they organised a meeting with us and they were very gentle and helpful. We received a detailed brief and recommendations. Finally, the time to go in this adventure came and we meet our amazing guide Khaled, an experience and very passionate about nature, he was amazing, we had all of the explanations about the animals, he knew how and where to find them. he was full of knowledge and ready to share it with us. Our five day trip couldn’t be better. The atmosphere, the attention to detail, the lodges where we camped, the food, we loved it all. Now, back at home we can say that this safari is for sure a core memory and we will try to come back as soon as possible. We 100 % recommend it

Had a great experience with Charles and Nestory. They looked after us like family. We did the 6 day lemosho route up Kilimanjaro with their team and everyone played such a crucial part in the journey to the summit. This was a once in a lifetime experience and the team at Zanzi Trekking and Safaris are one of the best out there. Would definitely recommend doing this trip with this team!

Our 7-day group adventure with Shengena Adventure
My friends and I booked our Tanzanian safari with Shengena Adventure, and what we got wasn’t just a vacation, it was a soul-stirring, laugh-filled, wonder-filled experience that none of us will ever forget. Our guide, Makundi, instantly became part of the crew. Playing equal parts wildlife expert, Swahili teacher, DJ, and storyteller, he somehow managed to quell the energy of our chaotic group, while simultaneously pointing out a leopard sleeping in a distant acacia tree as if it were no big deal. His love for Tanzania and its wildlife was infectious. An unexpected highlight was visiting a local village. This wasn’t a tourist attraction, it was a genuine cultural exchange that gave us all a deeper appreciation for the people and traditions of Tanzania. It was transformative.

When you get a guide like Tom who has a great connection with his clients you are guaranteed a great experience all round. He has a vast knowledge of the country and especially knowledge of the animals on safari. He will try his best to ensure you get to see the animals and wildlife, which he definitely did with our group! I will treasure getting to know him and making the trip one I will never forget.
