What a team, what an experience
Communication with Viva Safaris up to the safari itself was pleasant: Patti responded quickly and helped me in getting the perfect package. The safari itself was to die for: driving on the savannah during sunrise, seeing the whole sky turn orange and red, passing a group of zebras while hearing the roar of a lion further away from the vehicle. I kept thinking 'this won't be my only safari'.
The team itself was nothing short of amazing too: very kind and helpful, amazing food (especially dinners were my highlight, though I would recommend getting something like protein shakes or bars if you want to stick to your daily protein goals. It is possible to reach 100gr on a daily basis, but with the available South African diet you go way up in calories as well. I.e. Billtong has +30gr of protein but is also easily +400 in kcal per 100gr) the catering staff always had the biggest smile on their faces and the rangers/ drivers were always willing to explain during the drives. Also, I had my stay in the Tremisana Lodge and it was very comfortable. A/C available but not needed since I went un June (at night temperatures would be around 12-15C), small fridge, good shower and more than enough space for 2 people.
I would def book again with Viva Safaris, my safari has been amazing thanks to the team and the savannah!

I contacted the company by email and they answered me immediately by return email and also contacted me on WhatsApp, which was very convenient. We talked on WhatsApp and tailored the trip to my requirements. The hotels were good and even customizable. They sent me a detailed and rich trip plan. Everything worked according to plan. It was very convenient and safe.

Exceptional Tour
Johny Jackson is a dedicated and professional tour guide. He’s very knowledgeable about the safari and experienced guide. As animals are constantly moving, he is able to anticipate the direction of the animals and quickly positioned his jeep ahead at optimal position. He’s also very familiar with the park’s direction and is able to move quickly to a specific location when information is shared on the radio. My wife and I have a great time 8 days touring with him.

Excellent arrangements, had great safaris
We have done safaris for 6 days with guide Papa john, he is a very nice person and good guide, we can see most of the animals. Arrangements were perfect from Axis safaris, we didn’t faced any issue and didn’t have to worry about anything .

Unforgettable 6-Day private Safari with Bobby Safari!
We had an amazing 6-day safari experience with Bobby Safari. Our guide, **Godfrey**, was incredibly knowledgeable and experienced — he always knew the best spots to find the animals, which gave us unforgettable memories and truly beautiful photos. His expertise made every game drive exciting and meaningful.
Our cook, **Miraji**, was also fantastic — kind, helpful, and dedicated. He woke up early every day to prepare breakfast, lunch, and dinner, even under challenging conditions like campsites without electricity or proper kitchen facilities. The food was always delicious, and we truly appreciated his hard work.
**Bobby** himself was kind, welcoming, and very supportive throughout the trip. When our flight to Arusha was canceled last minute and we had to fly to Kilimanjaro instead, he kindly arranged a return transfer from Kilimanjaro Airport — even though this wasn’t part of the original agreement. That thoughtful gesture meant a lot to us and really shows how much he cares about his guests.

Very attentive and helpful
Everything worked exactly like planned. We didn’t have to take care of anything except being at the spot at the right time which was not difficult due to clear instructions. Our guide was wonderful. We really enjoyed the full schedule. If you want down time I would suggest to add a day with no game drives cause the schedule is packed! Which, once again, we really enjoyed!

Responsive,reliable and flexible to my needs
I had a wonderful experience from start to finish being picked up at my hotel in Kigali then driven to the park by Peter where we met our guide Eric. It was my first ever safari and was a fabulous experience. Eric accommodated my birding and we stopped frequently so I could take photographs from the jeep. The boat trip was fantastic too seeing huge crocodiles, more hippos, elephants and 100s of roosting birds. Ruzizi tented lodge was incredible as was watching the moon rise over the lake and the micro bats. Thoroughly recommend.
