Stupendous!
5/5

Our adventure to Africa was perfect. Kerrie made sure we saw and did everything we asked. Our accommodations, flights and tours all surpassed our expectations. An added bonus was getting to meet the wonderful woman who planned it. We cannot say enough good things about the entire experience. We have already shared information with family and friends and are encouraging all to contact Pembury and especially Kerrie when they are ready to visit Africa. We started in Cape Town. Then flew to Victoria Falls (Spectacular!). We did game drives in Chobe and the Okavango Delta in Botswana. Outstanding! Save for the long and expensive flights to get there we would love to visit Africa again.

Unforgettable Safari Experience with KiliClimb Africa Safaris: Excellence from Start to Finish
5/5

We’ve just finished our safari with “KiliClimb Africa Safaris” and we can’t help but leave an extremely positive review.

Everything was perfect: from the organization, the travel, the accommodations, the food, the people, and the guide. We visited the Tarangire, Serengeti, and Ngorongoro Crater parks, and each park gave us unique and extraordinary experiences. Every detail was handled perfectly. A special thank you to Zulfa, who was always super helpful, precise, and clear in providing all the necessary information before and during the trip. It was a pleasure to rely on her for any questions or needs.

As for the accommodations, we were very comfortable, although the tent was a bit cold at night. We brought our own sleeping bags, but KiliClimb provides everything (mattresses, blankets, etc.). The places we stayed in were always comfortable, with either private or shared bathrooms, perfectly organized to ensure we had the best comfort possible.

The food was perfect, both in taste and quantity, thanks to our chef. Every request was fulfilled: for example, I had requested lactose-free meals, and another girl in our group asked for vegetarian dishes. There were absolutely no problems, and everything was cooked with great care.

The tour organization throughout the days was flawless. Our driver was exceptional: knowledgeable, friendly, and always attentive to ensure we had the best experience possible. We were lucky because in just two days, we had already seen all the Big Five, and by the end of the safari, we had seen practically every animal you can imagine, even from very close up. It was a unique and unforgettable experience!

Moreover, we want to highlight that the company was very honest. Initially, we made a mistake with the money calculations, but in the end, they refunded us the excess amount without any issues.

We highly recommend “KiliClimb Africa Safaris” to anyone wanting to experience an extraordinary safari with total peace of mind. We are so happy we chose this company, and after this experience, we would make the same choice again without hesitation!

Did everything possible to make us happy!
5/5

Overall

Our safari was an incredible experience overall. We were lucky enough to see nearly all of the animals we had hoped for—missing only the elusive leopard, which is understandably harder to spot as they’re nocturnal. The value for money was insane - it was great and so much cheaper than the other alternatives for the same thing.

Our group dynamic was really positive; everyone got along well, though the group changed fairly often, which keeps things interesting.

The packed lunches were consistently good—filling and convenient for long days out in the parks.

It’s definitely an exhausting trip, with lots of early mornings, but it was all worth it for the wildlife and scenery. The food was always hearty and generous—sometimes a bit too much given how little physical activity we were doing, but it was always tasty and appreciated.

One of the best aspects was how well-placed all of our accommodations were—right near the national parks, which made our days much more efficient and enjoyable.

Derrick

We had an absolutely fantastic experience with Derrick who helped organise the trip. He is incredibly kind, extremely reliable, and always willing to help—no matter the time. He even answered our calls at night without hesitation, helped us move our safari seamlessly, offered valuable advice on visas, and went the extra mile to book our train tickets.

What stood out most was how well-organised he is. Derrick managed to plan a unique, personalised trip for us, making everything feel effortless and smooth. We couldn’t recommend him more highly!

Anthony

Anthony was an absolutely brilliant driver for the Masai Mara. His attitude truly reflected the mindset: “I want to make you happy”—which should honestly be the motto of the whole company.

He’s an exceptional driver, getting us impressively close to the wildlife while always ensuring we felt safe and informed. Though quiet, Anthony shared just the right amount of information—he clearly knew the animals and the land inside out. We never missed a moment—from a hunting cheetah to lions feeding—and Anthony often got us to the scene early.

Leroy

Leroy was an outstanding guide from start to finish. His knowledge of the animals was truly impressive, and he communicated everything so clearly—his English is excellent, which made everything smooth and easy to follow.

He’s a skilled and reliable driver, and we always felt in safe hands. Beyond that, Leroy was incredibly approachable—easy to talk to and always happy to answer our questions. He shared stories about his life and gave us so much insight into Kenya, which added real depth to our experience.

One moment that really stood out was how hard he worked to make sure we caught our train at the end of the trip. He completely understood our needs and worked with us every step of the way to make it happen.

Masai Mara

We had a lovely stay at Flair Camp Experiences. The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and genuinely keen to help. They always made sure we felt safe and looked after—escorting us to our tent each evening with a torch.

The food was a real highlight—absolutely delicious. The chef was fantastic, consistently serving up impressive four-course meals.

There were, however, a few practical issues during our stay. Electricity was a bit temperamental, especially when it rained, and in our tent, the plug sockets and hot water didn’t work, which was a little frustrating.

That said, the overall experience was warm, welcoming, and memorable—and with just a few improvements, it could be truly exceptional.

Nakuru

Buraha Zenoni Hotel & Resort was a comfortable and pleasant place to stay. The rooms were very clean and nicely maintained, and the overall atmosphere of the hotel had a relaxing, resort-like feel.

We were only there for one night so, unfortunately, we didn’t have time to take advantage of the facilities, but everything looked well-kept and inviting. One small downside was that our toilet didn’t flush overnight and we weren’t forewarned—something that could definitely be improved.

The buffet was a real highlight, offering a wide variety of tasty options, and the view from the restaurant was absolutely beautiful.

Amboseli

Nyali Safari Camp was a real highlight of our trip. The views of Mount Kilimanjaro were absolutely stunning—waking up to that backdrop was unforgettable. The tents were incredibly spacious; ours had five four-poster double beds, all with mosquito nets, which made it feel both luxurious and practical.

The staff were quick and efficient—when a lightbulb wasn’t working, it was fixed within 10 minutes. The buffet had plenty of good options, and the overall facilities were excellent, offering both comfort and convenience.

Had a great time on all the game drives in the parks with Nyagwal Safaris. Our family saw far more animals than we expected! The lodges were nice and the Kenyan people are lovely. Had a wonderful experience.

About: Viatu
My experience and the exceptional service in my dealings with VIATU were way above my expectations.
5/5

From start to finish, I was constantly updated on the booking of the tour, the costs and additional services offered . Any changes I requested were actioned immediately and I received revised quotes and suggestions.
The accomodation, flights and car hire which was booked on our behalf was of all to our liking and satisfaction.
The app which we downloaded was user friendly and made everthing so much easier for us. I had my full tour with all details readily available, without having to look for maps, contact details or any other info.
Our agent Simone Ferk, showed extreme patience in all her dealings with me and responded within minutes of any query.
A quick call to the concierge on one small query while we were away was dealt with timeously and efficiently.
Viatu will be my " go to" agent for any further tours and travels.

Perfect
5/5

We went on a 4 day golden monkey and gorilla trek adventure with Big Apes. Our assigned tour guide was Blair and he was awesome. He was timely, communicative, friendly, and went above and beyond to make sure we had the best experience. Blair was knowledgeable about all of the surrounding areas and made our travel between Rwanda and Uganda a breeze. He made sure we were able to do everything that we had planned and even made a few slight tweaks to accommodate our preferences without question. Overall, I highly recommend Blair and Big Apes for any similar adventure.

A smart choice for cost-effective travel
5/5

This travel agency offers budget-friendly itineraries without compromising on quality.
We especially want to commend our drive guide, John Mwangi. Not only was he always punctual, but his driving skills were excellent, ensuring we smoothly encountered a wide variety of animals.
Despite my travel companion and I having limited English, John was always patient and friendly in his communication. If we ever have the chance to visit Kenya again, we'll definitely choose this agency!
