Super helpful
5/5

The communication was fantastic. Loth helped me plan the perfect tour that fit our needs. He spent months helping to arrange the best tour and price. The Safari met and exceeded our expectations. We even saw the Big Five! I lost track of how many lions and elephants we encountered. Our tour guide was amazing and really helped to make our travels excellent. I would recommend bringing lots of protein bars, peanut butter, and snacks along because we got so wrapped up in watching the amazing animals that some of the meals got pushed back rather late. We are also American and so we could not eat some of the raw vegetable salads that were served (our immune system can't handle raw in Tanzania) or that there are not coolers for the meat. So, when I go again I will bring more protein rich snack bars and order the vegetarian meal option. So those are my tips. Definitely book with Loth. He will take very good care of you. The safari was a life changing adventure. There are no words to compare the beauty that we encountered watching live animals in their natural habitat.

Michael Massonda was an excellent guide
5/5

Michael Massonda was an excellent guide for me and my family. Together with my father, brother, sister, brother's wife, and sister's boyfriend, I greatly appreciated Michael's driving skill, his extensive commentary about the wildlife around us, and his very genial company both in the landcruiser, and during the meals that we invited him to join. This was all particularly amazing in view of the personal tragedy that had befallen him just before we arrived (a death in his family). I will always remember this trip to the Serengeti fondly, and Michael Massonda deserves most of the credit for that. Thank you very much, Michael!

we, family of 4, with kids at age 15 and 17, enjoyed this trip very much. The service and care taking of the SunSet Afrika team was really more than we expected. All the way from planning though execution all agreements were met or even deliverd beyond. Great team with very experienced people. Flexibel, reliable and caretaking.

Solo Traveler Advised to Book Elsewhere: What's Wrong with my $58k?
2/5

So, after getting a quote, they apologize that their young operators think I should join a group and they can't fulfil. This after factoring in many single supplements, etc. Do they need a full vehicle for more tipping customers? What is up with this? I travelled all over the world for Conde Nast's Traveler, Departures,
Brides Magazine, Family Circle, Elle Decor, & about 40 in all. Never had my money asked to go elsewhere. Hmmmmm.

An excellent experience overall, a little disappointed with Zanzibar
4/5

East Africa Wild Adventures organised our group's trip to Tanzania this summer and did a fantastic job - the guides, hotels and feral itinerary was well planned and executed. We stayed at the Arusha Coffee Lodge, the Neptune Crater Lodge, Four Seasons Serengeti and then in Zanzibar at Le Gemma Diamond. All our internal flights/game drives were well planned and the guides were accommodating and willing to cater to our individual preferences. The last hotel in Zanzibar, however, let us down and when we made our thoughts on the service and level of accommodation known to East Africa Adventures - the hotel was informed immediately and they did try and remedy the situation - unfortunately the property itself is not of the calibre to be part often Leading Hotels of the World group and by the time hotel management responded to our complaints (via East Africa Adventures) it was a little late to redeem our impression of the hotel, its service and the staff.
